Sydney has a lot of thoughts to share after her wisdom teeth removal, while Adrian takes care of her (with some help from Eddie)

Wisdom

She woke up with the stop in the car’s movement. Looking around in confusion, Sydney wondered why someone else would be driving her car. Her door opened a few seconds later, and she looked up dizzily at a pair of green eyes. When she didn’t move to leave her seat, he took her by the arms ever so gently and tried to help her out of the car.

The conversation they were having while leaving the dentist’s office rushed back to her.

“They’re just very maligned, Adrian,” she insisted.

“Careful with your head.”

“They’re just hanging out in the sea. It’s their home. They aren’t evil.”

“I know, baby.” She felt the ground come out from under her feet and clung to his neck as he carried her up the driveway. He stopped before the front door and made some funny, shaky movements. The sound of clinking metal was hazy and distant.

“People should just leave them alone, they’re sea babies. Stay always. Away. Stay away. And then they won’t kill you.”

“You’re absolutely right.”

The movement below her intensified, slightly tickling her. A little frustrated frown had appeared on his forehead, and the metallic sound got louder.

“Your own fault if you get your stupid leg eaten. Just leave them in the deep. Your shirt’s blue.”

His frown melted into a pretty smile that made her heart flutter. “Yes, it is blue. Thank you for noticing.”

“I like it. Brings out your eyes.” The door suddenly opened by itself. “Eddie!”

“Hey there!” he stepped aside to let them in. “How are you holding up?”

She was filled with excitement at the sight of him. “Eddie! I’m fiiine. I’m good. They took my teeth.”

“Do you want me to carry her up the stairs?”

“Nah, I’ve got it. Could you get the bag with her meds from the car and bring us some water?”

“Sure.”

“Come on. I’ll tuck you in, then we can watch as many shark documentaries as you want.”

Date Night

Pairing: Happy/Toby

Warnings: Pure fluff baby

A/N: Hope this is okay! I’m only on season 2! (But I know what happens it’s cool)

“What is this doc?” Happy asks, looking at the room laid out in front of her.

“This, is date night” Toby says, throwing his arms out, super proud of himself

“A bunch of stuff in an abandoned warehouse is our date night?” She asks

Whilst she is looking at the old computers, household appliances and other fragile looking items, Toby ducks around the corner and comes back holding two pairs of gloves, two pairs of protective glasses and two baseball bats.

Happy looks back at him, pausing to look from his hands to his face.

“Okay, I built us our own rage room so we can get some frustration out over a stressful week and also have a date night at the same time” Toby says, pushing his hands forward to prompt her to take the items from him

Happy’s face splits into a grin before she is moving in and kissing him.

When she pulls back, she takes the items from him and gears up, making sure she is protected.

“Okay, we also have sledgehammers but I thought we could start with baseball bats” Toby explains

“Is there any way to play some music?” Happy asks

“A woman after my own heart” Toby says, pulling his phone out and playing music, it coming from speakers hidden somewhere in the room

“I thought I already had your heart” Happy asks with a cheeky smile

“You do, but it grows with your love every day” Toby says, putting a gloved hand over his heart

“That’s cheesy, Doc”

“Well, I love you”

“I love you too”
