I have an old, messy doodle that's relevant to this; It's Ken, pretending to be a Greninja! Or, in other words, a "Keninja." :P

No promises, but if I can ever dig up the paper it's on, I'll see if I can clean this up ^^

New year, new ref! :P I finished this a while back but forgot to actually post it, oops

So basically, I decided a few months ago to make Ken a bit more noticeably Lickitung-y than his original “generic riolu that can blep big” appearance (1, 2), and this is the result!

Design changes/additions include: - More chonk! - Bigger, bulkier tail! - Thumb-spikes... oh, and thumbs! what crimes will he commit? - Lickitung foot... thingies? claws?? idk  ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ - I also added a neat color picker to the ref itself this time ^^

EDIT 6/11/22: Updated the color picker. The neck ring and eye colors have been separated, to reduce the chance of misinterpretation.

((Been a while, yeah? I realize I still have, like. A solid few unanswered asks over here still. And I’ll eventually get back to them, I promise! BUT I also feel like testing and maybe pushing a few art-related limits for myself, so for now, have a new askblog!

Well, it looks like you’ve been outvoted on this one.” ??: “Alright, fine. But you, DON’T try anything.” ?????: “…c’mon, five more minuteszz…”

After taking maybe one wrong turn too many, you seem to have entered a cave that’s incredibly bright, yet somehow non-blinding. Non-painful too, even. Oh, and said cave happens to be occupied by a frightening, five-headed beast! Though for some reason, it – err, they? – don’t seem overtly dangerous. …For the most part, at least.

So, what now?
