Okay, I have beef with how people are interpreting the cis statistic. If we take the stats of people who responded as agender, transgender, and non-binary together, it adds up to about a 26% trans or non-binary population. This is a whopping 21 percentage points above the estimate of transgender young adults in the US. Despite the seemingly high saturation of trans people on the internet, they’re a fairly small population compared to cis people. Fandom actually has a, relatively speaking, huge trans population going off this data. No need to bring the doom and gloom y’all
