Casey got a new faceup! Finally plucked up the courage to redo his old one from several years ago.
Then just took some cute pics of him because I love him.
I’m glad it still looks like him, and I feel like the new eye makeup makes his eyes look brighter.
Though I think he needs a new hat. His is getting to be a pain.

Started working on the front legs today.
only managed to get one full leg done
but I really like how it turned out, and he’s certainly starting to feel himself again.
I should be able to finish at least the other front leg tomorrow. I’m hoping to do the back legs as well before the weekend, but I can feel my MSC can getting worryingly light. Hopefully it lasts through his legs.
Recently purchased a Sio2 Funan from Julia on Den of Angels and now it’s time to customize!
This was him right out of the box:
Just a gorgeous doll, even blank. But, I intend for him to be one of my OCs, Cernun, a spring spirit. So he can’t remain blank.
At first I was intending to dye him, but then I realized I liked the more organic looking color variations that comes from doing a color change with pastels. So I thought I would do it that way instead. Though last time I did a pastel color change was on my Doll Chateau Pluto, and even then I only did her legs and tail. So I had never done a color change of this magnitude with pastels…
So let’s do a test area! I wasn’t 100% sold yet on the resin wig, so I decided to try blushing the wig first:
And I really loved how it turned out. So I did the antlers and started adding flowers and butterflies to really give that Spring Spirit vibe:
Which turned out super pretty when it was finished:
Then I moved on to his faceup, which I wanted to still have those floral/spring vibes, but be a bit more subtle since his hair and antlers were so extra:
I absolutely love how it turned out, and I made him some custom eyes to fit his vibe.
And I just…
Love him so much
So now I’m working on blushing his arms so I can avoid taking him apart completely for a little bit longer.
But I will update my progress as I go. 🥰

Since I spent yesterday evening fixing him, I wasn’t able to make any more progress on Cernun until today.
Started by finally pulling up my big girl panties and taking him apart. The stringing turned out to be not nearly as difficult as I expected, which was a nice surprise. I also separated his leg pieces into baggies so I could not only keep track of them, but also make sure I kept them separated
Also got a funny picture of Cernun with only the upper half of his body.
He looks so confused 😂
Today I managed to complete the main part of the body, his tail, and his peen. I forgot to get pictures of the individual parts, so I took a few different angled shots of him put back together (kinda)
He looks pretty silly with his forcep legs lol.
I decided I wanted to make him a white tail deer, so I was once again happy that I decided against dyeing him.
Getting that belly back to white would have been a nightmare otherwise lol.
Had to stop for the night, but as long as my MSC holds up, I should be able to finish his legs tomorrow or the next day

Tragedy!
Took Cernun to see my sister, she accidentally bumped the table he was standing on so he took a dive.
But, other than a couple flowers and butterflies that escaped, I put him back together at my sister’s house. I’ll add back the butterflies and flowers that are missing when I get home.
Moral is, it sucked, my sister felt horrible, but it was totally fixable and he is no worse for wear.

Made some more progress on Cernun. First with his arms and, very importantly, his beautiful hands.
I decided to add a butterfly to the finger of one of the hands, so I can do cute pics of him with a butterfly.
Then on to his torso!
looks a little funny right now, with the lower half still being white, but I wanted to show him to my sister when I go to her house tomorrow, so I put him back together.
But also, he’s just precious.
Part of the lower body will likely be worked on tomorrow, but it depends on how late I get back from my sisters. If not tomorrow then certainly Monday after work.

It’s been awhile since I posted, so wanted to share the members of the resin crew that you know, and a few new faces.
Gabriel is back and getting along quite well with Casey. Casey claims vampire magic, but we all know he likes Gabriel.
(Gabriel: Dream Valley Chaos on B4-04 body, Casey: Doll Chateau Matthew, human body)
Then of course there is our darling angel, Pluto
(Doll Chateau Pluto)
This is our beautiful new girl, Georgia
(Logan Dolls Claudia on Conarium MSD girl body)
And our smallest individual, Val, who is rarely ever not in the arms of Georgia
(Logan Dolls Teeny Val)
And this is the newest addition. Just purchased and on the way to us. Not sure of a name yet and only a basic idea for a faceup and look, but we’re very excited to be getting another vampire.

Pluto update! Finished her tail, a third of all the legs, and one whole leg. So just two thirds of three legs left and she’s done!
Unfortunately she has to go on another pause. She’s eaten the rest of my MSC (though to be fair to her I used like half of it on my last commission), and I’ve got another commission getting shipped to me on Monday, so I have to prioritize my new MSC that’s on it’s way for the commissioner. But once she’s done I can finally move on to Casey’s bodyblushing. (I’ve actually been avoiding his for a couple years because I was nervous to do it, so I made myself do Pluto first because I knew after hers, his would seem like cake. That certainly worked.)
But before I do Casey I’ll probably make Pluto a shirt of some sort. TBH she’ll most likely be nude most of the time, but I want her to have some sort of shirt so she can appear in public if I want. I’m also still thinking of making her a scepter, but that will likely wait until after Casey’s bodyblushing.

Casey got an adorable new shirt and collar. They were originally for when Gabriel gets here, but Casey’s not giving up that shirt for anything and Gabriel’s going to have to fight him for the choker. Need to work on more stuff for Casey’s outfit, he’s still pretty goth and not enough pastel.
Also that bitch mask has kind of become his signature accessory. Though he’ll pull it down for cake

Did a faceup, bodyblush, and wig commission for my sister’s very first BJD :D
She has since gone home to live with my sister and been dubbed Juliana. She’s been given some wonderful hand embroidered and sewn socks with adorable garters, and my sister is working on the rest of her (first) outfit now.
I’m thinking of opening up some commission slots, nothing majorly expensive since I’m not a professional yet. Mostly just pay for materials and an optional tip while I practice and work on figuring out my price point. What do you guys think?
I may also start selling some handmade wigs, different prices for different materials/styles. I love wig making.
