YES I'll get around to telling y'all why I think so but first of all this man is not an extrovert.

Bungou stray dogs relies on many schools of thought such as existentialism, absurdism, and nihilism, to form their characters and Dazai is in the center of it all. These are all deep and lonely thoughts which really don't crop up in people with stronger connections to the outside world, hence the introversion. I do not think Dazai is shy at all but he doesn't quite understand people's motivations and is stuck in his own head.

The architect. Throughout bungou stray dogs we catch a pretty prominent theme with Dazai: he's always a step ahead of everyone whether that be an opponent or the agency itself. And everything always goes according to his very detailed plans. He can think ahead, judge a situation, and act. Usually this INTJ quality manifests in people as life plans or fun little conversational traps but we know Dazai's intelligence exceeds that.

Another quality of INTJ people is charisma. Others might be able to sense that there is a slightly less enthusiastic and friendly person underneath but that doesn't stop INTJ's from getting ahead. If they want something they have to act the part.

Dazai is scarily like Mori (INTJ). I believe at some point even Yosano comments on their unnerving similarities. They also have the same purpose: keep Yokohama safe by any means possible. Just because Dazai decides to follow Odasaku's last wish, it doesn't make him any different. I believe the fandom gets hung up on the fact that Dazai is trying to be a good person. He's not doing it because he thinks it's right or has a deep internal sense of good. He wants his friend's dying wish to be remembered and he was no longer keen working under the man that effectively killed him. He would have readily joined another "bad" organization if Oda had told him to. He has not changed. He only adjusts his mask to suit his new environment in order to achieve his goals.

Yes omg. Yes there's some not okay parts of their relationship but they care about each other so much they want to be better so they'll figure it out together. <3

soukoku is such a great pairing bc they're so fucked up and so different from each other that in order for their relationship to work out they both have to be willing to put a whole fucking lot of effort into it and that's the beauty of it, that whole 'love is an action' quote from bell hooks and all, they're a constant work in progress. and those ppl who keep focusing on the most unhealthy aspects of their history and ignoring all the rest are cowards like why are you so afraid of character growth and non toxic relationships?
