So today is not over yet but it has been a great day! Cinna has been going to the washroom outside or on his pee pads for three days now!

Last night we went for a little walk around the neighbourhood and he is doing awesome on his leash. I bought some bitter cherry spray to spray on the bottoms of the couches, shoes and stuff that he likes to chew on that he shouldn't be chewing on. Its just a spray that smells like a nice sweet cherry but tastes like the nastiest thing you could imagine. When I was spraying it on his leash I inhaled some of it and it was HORRIBLE but I would FUR SURE recommend it for anyone who is trying to get their puppy to stop chewing on household items. 

Anyways back to the walk -- I sprayed some cherry on his leash and he bit it once and after that he didn't bite it again. He is doing surprisingly well on his leash lately. He doesn't want to start the walk though, it takes a lot of coaxing to get him going. He has the most selective hearing when we start up on the walk, it's hilarious. ALSO He is sitting on command! It's fricken crazy I can't even believe it!!

Here's the little demon now, she's a real shit disturber! But I LOVE HER TO PIECES. I seriously have the best pets in the world, it's so cheesy but I feel so insanely lucky to have them in my life.

Today has been super rad. I find that Cinna is learning more and more every single day. He went in the creek today and came out reeking like some weird mixture of nasty so I gave him a bath. Now he smells awesome and has an extra shiny soft coat.

He peed on a towel that was on the floor for Khaleesi (see picture above) but other then that he's been doing great. I was really worried for a few days about how loose his stools were but they are starting to get better since I've been giving him a couple spoonfuls of yogurt during meals. When I first got him I was feeding him yogurt, but he sort of got disinterested in it. I've been reading that dogs with looser stools (wow gross) should eat some rice mixed with chicken broth, but if they loosen up again he can have that. But seriously the smells that Cinna produces.. I don't even understand how such a nice little animal could make these foul smells.

SO YESTERDAY

I'm feeling a little Hilary Duff after that title. Cinna did fricken awesome yesterday! He peed on his puppy pad multiple times and after work (1130pm) he accidently pooped on the floor where his puppy pad usually is, I hadn't replaced it from when he had peed on it earlier.

Other then that he did wicked and he went to grandma and grandpa's house to hang out for a few hours while I worked. I heard he did have a secret accident (where he goes under couches or in weird places) 

All in all I think he did amazing yesterday!

Okay so we have a thunderstorm going on and Cinna is casually chewing on my old pair of shorts that I put in his bed. He don't care.

This is the first photo of Cinna that I ever took! Poor guy was so scared! The whole drive back to my grandparents he just stared at me, then once we got there he got sick twice. I can't even imagine how confused and scared he was! He was the last puppy to go, since a deposit was made on him first, and I wasn't able to go get him until a week later. He ended up being sick twice on the drive from St. Albert -> Kamloops. I think that if we stop the car and then drive again a few minutes later he gets car sick, as both times I had gone inside to use the washroom and came back and about two minutes after we started driving he got sick. About a week ago I left him in the car and ran inside to grab my sushi, and once we got to the park he threw up. I make sure to let him out whenever we stop for a couple minutes and he hasn't had any problems since!

Yesterday we had an AWESOME day!

No accidents inside! Cinna pooped once and peed twice on the puppy pad, and other then that everything was outside! He stood by the door and waited for me, and ran down the stairs and across the yard and pooped! I was so excited, things are coming along great!

Well today we had a better than normal day. 

Tally for pees inside not on the pee pad = 2

Pees on pee pad = 2

Pees outside = too many to remember!

Poos on floor = 3

Poos outside = probably 8?

Pretty successful day, it just keeps getting better!

Cinna is such a smart little dude! He just walked over to the door and sat in front of the window and gave me a little whine. I then came over and opened the door and he walked outside, and with me watching, walked down the stairs, ran across the yard, and pooped! I'm so excited and I feel ridiculous posting about his pooping adventures but this is awesome! 

When he was doing his business I ran across the room and grabbed his duck treats, which I brought down the stairs to him and showered him with praise and affection. I'm SO EXCITED, hopefully more of this to come!

When I first brought Cinna home, I made sure he met Khaleesi right away (Khaleesi being my African Pygmy Hedgehog) Although the first couple of encounters were rough (for Cinna) now they both hang out in the yard together. Khaleesi was a little worried about Cinna at first, but after a couple of days of waiting till he was checking something out far away from her, she lightened up and now she walks and runs around the yard with her head up. Cinna likes to run circles around her excitedly when she runs but she pretty much ignores him. Hopefully they can be good friends!
