15 Important Life Lessons
1. Don’t take yourself too seriously. Learn to laugh at your mistakes.
2. Life is too short it to waste it on resentments, bitterness or grudges you’re holding against others.
3. You don’t have to win every argument and fight. Sometimes it’s OK to just agree to disagree.
4. Make peace with your past - then let it go, and move on.
5. Choose to go after what brings you happiness.
6. Don’t compare yourself to others.
7. It doesn’t really matter what others think about you – just live your own life and be true to who you are.
8. Life isn’t always fair – but sometimes good things happen, too!
9. Ignore your feelings – and keep taking the next step.
10. Ask for what you want.
11. Don’t suffer in silence – reach out for support.
12. Everything changes.
13. Be willing to experiment and try something new.
14. The most important thing is to love and be loved.
15. Believe that the best is yet to come.

7 Tips for Improving your Social Life
1. Ignore your feelings when they say to put walls … and actively decide to build a bridge instead.
2. Don’t compare yourself to others, or attack yourself. Appreciate your talents and the things that make you “you.”
3. Pay attention to your thoughts when you feel anxious or afraid. Imagine being successful, and relaxed, and popular.
4. Focus on what’s best in others; validate their gifts and strengths.
5. Avoid touchy topics; don’t be boring or offensive; and notice when it’s time to let another take the stage.
6. Try to focus more on others and the things that interest them. Avoid the trap of talking about me, me, me!
7. Be genuine and real – as that puts others at their ease … and others are more likely to be natural as well.

Why Do I Feel Unloveable?
Often when people feel unloveable, it is tied into one of the following reasons:
1. As a child, a parent or authority figure either told you – or sent out the message that – you were unloveable. Because of that, you came to believe that your core self was deficient, unacceptable or inadequate. Now you find it hard to believe that anyone could ever love you for just being you.
2. You experienced rejection, desertion or abandonment in one of your closest relationships. Now love feels scary - and is a source of anxiety and fear – rather than of healing and security.
3. You feel regret for something you did, or the way you treated a person you loved. Hence, you don’t believe you deserved to be loved, or you fear you will badly hurt someone again.
4. You have developed a series of flawed beliefs which have coloured your expectations for love. For example, you may have concluded that love leads to pain …. or that no-one can be trusted … or love always ends.
5. A voice in your head says you cannot change so you don’t believe that “you have what it takes”. But none of us is perfect; we’re all on a journey; and if we choose to take a risk then we’ll find that we can change.

My last weekend home
So this is my last weekend home for a while. The 7th of January I go back to college on top of a very snowy mountain that is also going to be very cold obviously.
Since I am going to go back to college I cannot wait to start getting into my studies and trying my hardest this semester to get on the Dean’s List. I haven’t been able to get on the Dean’s List since I started college back in 2013. I really hope I can make it this semester!
I also have to start packing up everything and pray that I can get everything up the mountain in one trip with my tiny ass car.
Just in case you guys were wondering what all I need to pack up and take with me back to college, here is the list I have so far....
Packing List: HP Laptop HP Monitor Computer speakers computer keyboard All my text books for the semester Nintendo DSI Nintendo 3DS XL Nintendo 2DS XL My ds games My bullet Journal My school planner My notebooks My MacBook All my chargers My xbox one My playstation 2 My record player My vinyls for my record player My series of books that I’m reading My clothes that I’m going to need My cameras (For youtube and bullet journaling)
And that’s all I can think of off the top of my head... I’m not taking my tv back up because my car can’t fit the tv in it (its a 50in). I really want to get a bigger tv for the dorm room but there isn’t really a point. Idk. My tv needs fixed anyway but I kind of just think I should buy a new one anyway.
But yeah, I’m just stressing mostly on what the hell I’m supposed to get all this stuff up to school without losing my mind entirely.

Friday December 22nd 2017
Today I started my first bullet journal! I am absolutely so excited to actually start working on it. I only got a few pages because January hasn’t started yet obviously and I didn’t want to make something for the last week of December.
Today hasn’t been that bad of a day actually. I woke up at 10:30am for once. I then made some breakfast and worked on my moms Christmas present for a little bit and then took at 4 hour nap because let’s be real here..... I can’t go a day without taking a nap.
After I got up from my nap, I took a shower and ate dinner. My grandmother made me my favorite dinner (Chicken, stuffing, mashed potatoes, and corn) and then I came back in my room and worked more on my mom’s christmas present. I then stopped that for the day and worked on my bullet journal while getting caught up on my youtube subscriptions.
Now it is 12:41AM and I am about to heat up some leftovers and watch some Netflix since I can’t freaking sleep from that nap. Maybe I’ll write a new fan fiction, or maybe even read some fan fiction since I haven’t done that in a while.

Procrastination/Lack of Motivation!
If there is one this I have always struggled with in my life it is procrastination and lack of motivation.
Let’s start with procrastination. So, during school and even in my personal life, I have always struggled with procrastination. When I am in college and I know I have a paper due, I am that stereotypical college student that decides to wait until the very last minute to do the paper. And even now! I am sitting here writing this blog post instead of making my mom’s Christmas present. I know that the present should take more priority but I am lacking motivation to do it. I just don’t wanna do anything right now.
Now with Motivation. I have always lacked motivation. I am a fan fiction writer and I always get so many ideas that I want to write down and start but at the end of the day I just lack the motivation to do it. I have been sitting on a chapter of a fan fiction for over 4 months and I just haven’t wanted to write it. It’s almost like I get bored with the stories that I am writing.
I guess the one thing I have learned is that when you start to think about doing something, never say “I’ll do it later.” because I promise you, you won’t do it later. You won’t want to do it later, and you’ll just keep putting it off and putting it off until you have to rush at the last second to do it, or you just won’t do it at all.

Reading books in one day used to be something I could do all the time.... I really want to get back into doing that. I miss reading books. I still need to finish they book I started 2 months ago! Ugh!

This is my life
So, this really isn’t anything special. I just really wanted to rant and I decided to do it here.
So today, after I was done seeing the new Jumanji movie, I decided to go and pick up a new computer monitor at best buy. Well, I picked up the monitor, some external speakers because the monitor doesn’t have any built in, and a new keyboard because I hate my laptops keyboard.
Well..... I bring everything home which is about an hour drive, and then I get in the door and go to open everything and get it set up because I am impatient and can’t wait until the morning. I get the monitor out, get the stand set up and get the space on my desk cleared off (Note I haven’t looked at the screen yet). I finally pick it up and put it on my desk.... to discover that there is a CRACK on the screen...
So, now i have to go the whole way back to best buy tomorrow, thankfully I kept the receipt. I just really hope they don’t try to tell me that I was the one that broke it. I know that this stuff happens.... I just wish my life could be simple for once during the holiday season.....
That was my rant... I am just agitated I guess.... but i do love my keyboard... It makes very loud clicking sounds... Yes i am one of those people who loves clicky keyboards.

Hi so me, my mom and three younger sibling are being kicked out of my dad's place my October and me and my mom really need to start budgeting and I have no idea where to start. could give me an outline of what to calculate she's the only one working right now and makes a little short of $400 a week. We already paying off our car and car insurance each month which come to about $700 and I have no idea how to budget everything else could you help please? Thank you so so much
Hey there, I am so sorry it’s taken me so long to get to you! Hang in there babe. This is a very basic budget structure, but I find it helps keep me organized. Feel free to add to it as need be!
Budgeting 101
1. Expenses. Start by adding up all of your household’s monthly expenses. Here are some example expenses:
Shopping
Food
House supplies
Toiletries
Transportation
Gas
Bus tickets
Metro cards
Insurance
Medical
Car
Pet
Rent
Utilities
Internet
Loan payments
Credit Card dues
2. Total monthly expense. Add all of your monthly expenses together to get your total monthly expense. Note that while it is possible to make practical and educated guesses about what your total monthly expense will be from month to month, it may vary and be slightly more and less expensive as time goes by. This is totally normal! Just adjust the formula.
3. Wiggle room. Give yourself (and your household) some preverbal “wiggle room”. Depending on your household, it can be anywhere from an extra $50-$200 spent per month that was not anticipated. I.e- car repairs, doctor’s bills, home repairs, etc. I budget an extra $50 per each household member. So for a household of two, you’re looking at an extra $100 each month.
4. Incomes. Woo-hoo! You’re halfway through. Now consider what incomes your household receives each month. Some sources of income to consider:
Job income
Child support
Disability
Retirement
5. Total monthly income. Now add together all of your incomes to define your total monthly income. Similar to your total monthly expense, your income may shift slightly month to month.
6. Savings. Subtract your total monthly expense from your total monthly income. Now subtract your wiggle room.
For example, if your household’s income is a total of $500 per month and your household’s expense is $350 per month with wiggle room for $50, you’ll be left with $100/per month.
This is $100 that can go into savings!
7. Budget. The next step is committing to spend a specific amount of money per each expense every month. If you spent $50 on groceries during this month, spend $50 on groceries next month. Do this with all of your expenses, allowing your misc expense (”wiggle room expense”) to cover you when it has to.
By following this structure, you should be able to budget and to save a consistent amount of money each month. This is super simplistic, but hopefully it’ll get you started!
