About the absence of Clarke and Bellamy
Episode 709 was the first time I really felt how much Season 7 was suffering without the continued and central presence of Clarke and Bellamy. Although there are other intriguing characters in the story, Clarke and Bellamy are the engines that keep the train going. So if anyone has ever wondered about their value to the narrative as a whole, they can stop. Because it’s proven itself to be vital.
And I’m not talking about Bellarke, by the way, because that’s a whole separate thing. I’m talking not only about how they relate to each other, but also how they interact with all the other characters. Those interactions give an energy and a depth to the story that lately has felt, in some cases, sadly lacking.
So while I completely understand that their absence was driven by a situation that was external and unavoidabie, I really hope that when we return from this mini-hiatus, that will signal the end to the “Bellamy and Clarke hiatus” as well.

I think Raven is pregnant with Shaw’s bb.
If The 100 makes Echo pregnant with Bellamy’s baby I’m going to straight up curb stomp Jason Rothenberg. Not ONLY because he would have baited us with 7 seasons of sexual tension and romantic implications and declarations between Bellamy and Clarke but ALSO because he would literally be making actors portray shit like that knowing full well Eliza and Bob lost a baby together. Someone come fucking stop me, I dare you.
EDIT—For those asking Jason let it slip in an interview someone would have a baby this season. While it’s possible it’s Hope (I didn’t read the context just saw it spreading on Twitter) Tasya was the photo for the 7 Day countdown and covered her stomach AND posted some tweet about being “born” ready I guess? Check Twitter it’s everywhere and every blorke including me is in meltdown mode.

[cw: anti-cle/xa rant]
You’ve been warned. Don’t @ me.
With every rewatch, I hate cle/xa more and more.
Like Le/xa is the reason she kills her first love. (Yes, it is Finn’s own actions but Clarke has to humanely kill him to prevent Le/xa’s forces from torturing him.)
She is the reason Clarke has to basically commit genocide to save her people. If they had stuck with the original plan, they would’ve overwhelmed Mt Weather’s forces and gotten their people out without killing all of the people in Mt Weather.
As a queer person, this show in general has SUCH good queer rep but then they made this catastrophe? And they keep bringing up what was a toxic and problematic relationship years later? It was a few week thing when Clarke was 18 - let her move on.

All of Clarke’s canon romances have been jealous of her faith in Bellamy. Just need to remind everyone of that.
