Hey, do you guys got a discord server that I could join into? I've recently watched this film, and loved it as much as I did as a child. I was wondering if I could find an active place to hang out, or talk more about this obscure dinosaur film everyone set aside. I'm wanting to learn more about this movie, and potentially create an Iceberg Chart about it. Thanks in advance!
Hello!
No, unfortunately I don't have a Discord server for this movie. But if anyone's interested in it, feel free to make one. :)

Is this blog still active?
Not really. Sometimes I like to do some fan art for nostalgic reasons, but other than that, I kinda lost my interest in blogging about this movie to be honest.

I listened some Dinosaur OST tonight and I felt a sudden urge to quickly sketch out some good ol’, grouchy Brutie from memory.
By the way, I’m quite diggin’ this brush from CPS . It’s nothing fancy, not to mention it’s actually meant for inking, but I rather like to sketch with it. It’s quite simple, actually, however it just works fine with my style, which I really appreciate. ^^

What was the song in the video showing Noah and Cain
Hello! Sorry, I don't know. Most likely it's an unreleased soundtrack.

Various dinosaurs designed by artist Ricardo Delgado for Disney’s DINOSAUR (2000, Dir. Ralph Zondag & Eric Leighton). Delgado is a prolific film and comic book artist who has worked on over 50 film and television projects but is perhaps best known by many as the creator of the two time Eisner Award winning dinosaur comic book series AGE OF REPTILES (1993 - Present).
Most of the art seen here was done between 1994 and 1996. One of the hallmarks of Delgado’s dinosaurs is how he bases their color schemes off of living animals that he feels occupy the same evolutionary niche that a particular dinosaur might have. Ergo you have a giraffe-like Amargasaurus, a Velociraptor with cheetah spots and zebra striped hadrosaurs. It’s also worth noting how palentologicaly progressive many of Delgado’s designs are. Take note of both the feathers on his Stygimoloch and the quills on his baby Stegosaurus.

More dinosaurs by Ricardo Delgado for Disney’s DINOSAUR (2000, Dir. Ralph Zondag & Eric Leighton).
Most interesting here is the Nanshiungosaurus, a type of therizinosaur from China, which Delgado has imagined as a colossal reptilian ant eater.
Also Delgado’s Utahraptor done up to look like an African Wild Dog.

I just wondered how he got that scar on his face. One thing for sure: according to its shape, the offender must be a raptor.

Some things start out big, and some things start out small, very small. But sometimes the smallest thing can make the biggest changes of all.

« Not only is this one of the best animated scores ever, it’s also one of James Newton Howard’s greatest works as a composer. (x) »
