After a long wait, here’s our final princess of Harmonia: Moonlight Sonata!

Moonlight Sonata is a very special pony. Naturally born with a developed horn and wings, Moonlight Sonata is the only known pony to posses both unicorn and pegasus features. She spent most of her life hiding her wings and attempting to pass as a normal unicorn. Everything changes though when she is sent on a quest to find the final princess destined to be the next ruler of Harmonia. With some encouragement from friends she makes along the way, Moonlight Sonata reveals her true nature and discovers herself to be the final princess.

Does she look familiar? She’s the G3 version of my G5 OC Sapphire! I like to think of Sapphire as a reincarnation of Moonlight.

I'm back with another pony! Meet our third princess of Harmonia: Dusk Dancer!

Dusk Dancer is a fun, carefree pegasus who takes on a bit of a laidback attitude to her royal duties, much to the annoyance of Sunrise Song and Morning Glory. Underneath her fun attitude though, Dusk Dancer takes pride in her royal status and will always work hard to create a good life for her kingdom.

She is not based on an existing pony, but rather an OC I created for this kingdom. One more princess to go.

Last post of 2022! I received an iPad for Christmas, so I’m learning to use Procreate! This is a test drawing I did with my OC Electric Insanity. It’s definitely an adjustment from FireAlpaca, so it’s gonna take some practice, but expect for Procreate art in the future!

Here’s our second princess of Harmonia: Morning Glory! You’ll start to notice a theme with these names. Elegant and poised, Morning Glory is the most princess-y of the four. She values her appearance and her sweet, angelic voice. Though she may come off a bit conceited and pompous at times, she values her friends and subjects more than anything, and takes her role as princess very seriously.

Well I did say be on the look out for some G3 ponies lol

As I’ve mentioned previously, I grew up with G3, so all of my MLP lore knowledge comes from that era. I’ve heard G4 got pretty crazy with some of its lore, and I think if given time, G3 could’ve offered us some pretty cool stuff! In fact, Spike’s mention of other kingdoms in The Runaway Rainbow makes me think there may have been future plans to expand the world. That never happened though, so I’ve decided to do it myself!

Sunrise Song is one of the four princesses of Harmonia, the kingdom that celebrates music! Together, they create beautiful melodies and keep all of the world in tune. It’s said that every song originates from the magic in Harmonia.

I’d like to go through each kingdom Spike lists and give them locations and princesses! Some will be canon G3 characters (like Sunrise Song), while other will be ones I’ve created.

Found all of the G3 movies and shorts on YouTube so I’ve spent my whole night watching them and drawing ponies while I forget I’m a music major

Digital drawing was feeling overwhelming for me, so I decided to do a traditional sketch!

As you can see, I’m still trying to figure out what style I like for drawing ponies 😅 I attempted to replicate the G5 style more here and that kinda sorta failed miserably LMAO

I know I made a post for Sapphire before, but that’s her fully reformed state. While in the rehabilitation process, she is still very uncomfortable with her wings and chooses to hide them, especially in public. Additionally, after seeing Misty from the new episodes, I’ve decided she won’t have a cutie mark either (not for a while anyway). Since she grew up isolated, Sapphire never had a chance to find her passion. Sapphire is also incapable of using magic, which seems to be connected to cutie marks. She’ll get it eventually, but she has a lot of growing to do first.
