to reiterate: an autistic fan headcanoning a character they like and relate to as being autistic is not armchair diagnosing anyone and is not harming anyone. it is not an insult for a character to be headcanoned as autistic, it is not the fan claiming their experience as being the only autistic experience, it is not claiming that there cannot be other interpretations.
an autistic person seeing a character's traits as similar to their own and finding comfort in that is not an insult to that character or to other fans.
an autistic fan headcanoning their favorite character as autistic is not a personal attack against you and your experiences and preferences
it feels incredibly ableist and dismissive to tell autistic fans that headcanoning a character as autistic is Problematic. Autism is not an insult.

As heirs of the Charmer Kingdom Khun, Kinn, and Kim have been taught that they have the ability to create music that can control the Naga race.
Porsche and Porchay have been left on their own after the death of their parents. Porchay has a fascination of the human's music so much that he and his brother have become outcasted by the rest of the Nagas.
Porsche is doing everything he can to protect and raise his little brother, including risking his identity by getting supplies from human establishments.
However, what happens when the Charmer is charmed by the snake?

Some moron apparently built a bot to annoy or prank hundreds of authors.
There is no scanning process, your work doesn't actually resemble AI writing, it's all bullshit. Mark the comment as spam (on AO3, not the email notification you got about the comment!) and don't let it get to you.

Underestimated (and Fall Harder) excerpt
The silence continues, only the continued bumps and bounces indicating that they're heading to less developed areas.
The leaders suck in a breath, "Pull over!" he orders, "Pull over, that's him!" he hisses.
Two bodies hop out of the front cab of the van, five men in total.
Kim's eyes open when two thumps could be heard hitting on the side of the van, whoever the boy is that they're trying to grab isn't making it easy for them. A sharp yell only makes him curious, especially when one man opens the back doors to jump out and help.
The man disappears from sight only to return seconds later falling onto his back, groaning in pain.
"Get out here and restrain this boy!" the leader yells, causing the second to last thug to exit the van.
Kim realizes he could leave, now that there is potentially two of them that can fight their abductees off, and as he begins to unbind hit hands, the last man shoves is shoulder into the back seats behind him. He shakes off the pressure by leaning away from the man.
"Help us, will you!"
The shout makes them both turn back, the boy now restrained by two men with a sack over his head. The extra goes over and helps lift the boy.
The scraggly teen is wearing a stretched out dark shirt and holed tan slacks.
The clothes remind him of Chay, and he mentally apologizes to him for most likely not being able to tutor him for the next few days to figure out this anomaly.
The men now notice that he's "awake" and huff at him, dropping the boy next to him, and tying the boy's hands together in front of him.
Kim's mind races on why they didn't secure him better if they were having difficulties abducting him.
The doors on the front of the van close at the same time as the back, the leader wheezing, "Secret heirs and their attempts. Ha!"
Kim's gaze looks away from the boy next to him to witness the one thug trying to stop his nose from bleeding from the very obvious broken appendage, and the guy next to him sporting a slit lip with a swollen cheek leading up to a darkening circle around his eye. Dropping his gaze back down to the specks of blood on the boy's knuckles and showing the rough skin from years of physical training.
"Nothing to say now, brat?" the leader asks. "You were being quite chatty back there."
"You didn't listen when I said you'd regret this."
The voice freezes Kim, chills traveling down his spine, form completely stilling. He thinks back, tries to remember any clues that he'd blatantly didn't recognize. Either because it didn't register as evidence, or the report didn't match what he saw Chay as.
Then again, he does only show so much of himself at times, even if he started to be himself and he feels like a fool. He's second guessing his evidence of Chay and Porsche, beginning to think they weren't as innocent in all of this.
Maybe it's just mistaken identity? It doesn't explain what Chay was doing this far out, one he'll be sure to get answers once he gets them both to safety.
That has to be it or he'd been played, something he'll make sure Chay doesn't make again.
His chest aches, being pulled between the affection that had swelled and the betrayal of being made a fool, as he began to think of making sure that Chay would never get hurt on his terms.
"No one's dead!" the leader smacks, "What regret would we have even if you did kill one of my men?"
"You get to find out." Chay states back, "Idiot." he says under his breath.
I had been inspired! @bisexualbard your story "used to sing about being free (but now he's changed his mind)" has caused this.
I'd spent writing the entire story within 12 hours, it just needs editing and a character name. "the leader" 's name is literally just [NAME] in the story right now.
Hopefully this will be to everyone's enjoyment! Feel free to drop names below, my brain has gone blank!
Don't expect this posted for like a week or two yet.

I'm working on multiple things again, and I'm actually loving it.

1,2,3 Who do you see? A KimChay story featuring a magic mirror mixed with literal split identity. Brother and Brother-in-law bonding on all sides.
Time travel fic another KimChay story that has a plot but no title.
On the Precipice KimChay fix it fic where I'm literally taking the last 4 scenes from the show and making tiny changes to help get these two to reconcile.
Underestimated (and Fall Harder) KimChay featuring Kittisawat Mafia Au: Kim and Chay get kidnapped to be a bargaining chip in a 3rd party deal that Kinn and Porsche are denying to work with. Secrets are revealed to Kim.

i have an overwhelming amount of hatred for autism research because all they fucking care about is finding out the "cause" of autism. i am so sick and tired of having to educate every single professional I encounter about the barest basics of my disability I am TIRED.
Someone please just do a study that's like "Sensory overload is a thing for autism and it has these effects! This is how long it can take to recover! This is the kinds of things that can set it off! This is how it affects the ability to function!" Please please please I am tired of trying to explain to people that sensory overload doesn't immediately stop when the stimulus is removed and that seriously overextending my processing of stimuli will take multiple days to recover from.
Neurotypical folks don't have any intuitive sense of what things will cause sensory overload and a limited concept that this is different for every autistic person. Why is there no recognition of the need in research to define the scope and variety of autistic people's struggles so clinicians can actually help them.
No, the researchers are too busy studying social behavior in fucking zebrafish to discover the "autism gene." Autism speaks and its ilk can die in a fire
