OK SO, was there ever a explicit reason why the catfolk tried to get rid of Nari? I'm assuming it's because he has a third eye, and it's considered demonic (I could be wrong, correct me!) And how come his mother and siblings died :<

They died because I'm edgy like that :3

But no they died because I wanted to go with the themes of death that surround his character. He is somewhat like death itself in a living body.

The reason they wanted to kill him is because they're a religious colony that just had a baby with a third eye on its forehead born, and the mother and siblings died in the process. His father was so greif stricken and mortified by this strange looking mutant infant that he wanted it dead.

Demonic people pop up every now and then like genetic anomalies, even more so since the bishops were crowned.

So Nari became a kitty devil instead of Jesus 👁👁 After Lambi made him a mortal, was it hard for Nari to adjust to the mortal life, if that makes sense??? I wanna read your AU lore about how Nari got adjusted to it and how he got married to Lambi!

I can definitely go more in depth if need be I'm just so bad at like, visualizing the thing outside of specific moments or entire arcs. Nothing in-between. Sorry my AU is like a puzzle.

But basically Lambi have him a second chance and helped him heal, learn how to behave, love, and just fucking LIVE. He hasn't had the chance to LIVE a regular life. And I guess he never does if you count their crusading and eventually running a kingdom together. But still, he finally got to have outdoors time and a house and food and be closer to equal with mortals instead of solely above them for a good while. Instead of being taken advantage of or killed he was bandaged, comforted, and offered a job and food. Despite his tsundere ass attitude.

Was shamura like a mother figure to Narinder (Or a aunty figure?) I've seen your art of his childhood, but I assume he was abandoned somewhere and Shamura found him? I love your Lambi au, its so goddamn interesting I NEED TO KNOW MORE WAAAA

They were like a parental* figure you could say, kind of like a mentor-student dynamic.

He was indeed abandoned because the catfolk trying to kill him ran out of ideas, he just kept surviving, but feeling all the pain though.

Shamura had the red crown but didn't know what to do with it, and found the kitten, gave him the crown and named him.

Narinder was safe. Things were good, until they weren't.

This demonic kitten grew up to be power hungry. The bishops were all non-sapient animals before their crowning whereas narinder was not only a sapient being, but a demonic/cursed one at that, making him much more powerful. Sprinkle in a childhood of loneliness and abuse and you have someone who is willing to resort to violence to get his ideals met (acceptance of resurrection- aka infinite power for him. He gains power through sacrifice and death, he could ressurect the dead and have them die again and again...)

The bishops of course were willing to go lower than his attack though. Willing to resort to a racial genocide just to keep him in chains for as long as possible.

His only means of entertainment were mentoring Aym and Baal by sending them to purgatory to fight. Shamura wanted to do the same thing for him that he had done for them, become a mentor and almost a son for them. Narinder was in constant sensory discomfort. His heart closed (metaphorically), not that he had a heartbeat to begin with (literally - he doesn't gain a heartbeat until he is spared by Lambi and becomes a "mortal") He was a very strict, cold, and manipulative man. He didn't hurt the twins, but he was definitely verbally abusive at times. He had lots of fits of rage and meltdowns. The kittens could back up and watch him scream at them. :(

If the catfolk colony had accepted him for who he was despite the death that followed his birth, he would've grown up to be a 3-eyed immortal autistic dude, maybe doing good in the world. Kitty Jesus or something hahaha.

I love how you draw Nari, he's such a creature /pos a silly traumatized creature indeed. From your recent lore, he gained sentient-ment from the red crown right? was he a regular house cat before that happened?

Thank you! My recent lore is from a separate au called Of Rats and Cattle. It's not the same narinder as the one from Lambi AU.

But yeah I'm this au, anything considered typically a "predator" species is feral/non-sapient. Rodents, birds and similar animals that don't exactly fit into either model are considered "lower" in this society and may even have a blend of both feral and anthro features.

Narinder gained his sapience and anthropomorphic body with the crown.

When the 4 rats stole the crowns and their cat touched the red one, shit hit the fan.
