SERVER UPDATE - THE RETURN

It’s been awhile, but we are back, with a couple of notes: The server has rebranded and is under new leadership at the moment, but the premise of the server still stays the same. We are now “CORPUS MACHINA”. A long-standing server that has since come under new ownership is opening its doors to welcome new members for a laid-back literature-style roleplay experience. Both OC's and Canon Characters are welcomed, with a supportive server staff and an easy in-server application process. In-server missions, voice chats, and events, along with a serious overarching plot and committed fellow writers.

So what next?

A server reboot has been put in place and a new story has been put forth:

“In the year 2077, eight years had passed since the fall of Overwatch. With the world in its slow decline--many places falling to corporate and governmental greed, Winston decided to reach out and issue a Recall to its former agents. However, at the same time,Talon was having its own struggles. With a new leader taking the reigns, it seemed that the world was starting to put itself back together after a new reformation. A new renaissance. However Our agents will soon find out that Talon was the least of their concerns and that a new threat is on the horizon. A threat that very well could destroy what is left of humanity altogether.Both Overwatch and Talon will have to work together if they want this world to make it after the second Omnic Crisis. War is on the horizon yet again.“

So what about characters?

OCs are open and so are a handful of others. The following open roles are: Ana, Baptiste, Ashe, Bastion, Doomfist, Junkrat, Lucio, McCree, Mei, Orisa, Pharah, Roadhog, Symmetra, Tracer, Torbjorn, Widowmaker, Wrecking Ball, and Zenyatta.

SERVER UPDATE [20TH OF JULY, 2020]

Been a while, hasn’t it?

Server arcs:

With Overwatch licking their wounds after the base is attacked by an unknown enemy, a two small groups of Overwatch agents has been dispatched. One group has departed to Vienna to help defuse a dire situation, whilst another is traveling around the globe to recruit people of interests to make up for their lost numbers. Meanwhile, Talon was brought down from the inside, leaving all current Talon agents to fend for themselves in a hostile world.

Open roles:

Ashe, Ana, Bastion, Baptiste, Doomfist, D.Va, Junkrat, McCree, Mei, Orisa, Pharah, Symmetra, Torbjörn.

OCs are still open.

SERVER UPDATE [22ND OF MAY, 2020]

Alright alright alright! Let’s see what we have here. Server update, on the horizon!

First order of business, story:

As of now, story wise, Talon no longer exists. All remaining Talon members must fend for themselves.

After fending off an attack from an unknown faction, Overwatch is wounded, but not out. They’re putting forth plans to recruit people of interests around the world.

Next order of business, OCs.

No more Talon OCs are allowed, as Talon has been brought down from the inside.

Overwatch and Neutral OCs are still on the table for people to apply for.

Lastly, open roles.

Ashe, Bastion, Baptiste, Doomfist, Junkrat, Mei, Orisa, Pharah, Symmetra, Torbjörn, Widowmaker, and Wrecking Ball are all open!

SERVER UPDATE [18TH OF APRIL, 2020]

Keep ya waiting, huh?

First thing’s first:

The second story arc for the server is coming to an end! Another smaller arc involving Talon is underway. Second order of business: OCs are still open, but we are closing off Talon OCs for now. This will be due to plans that we will have for the server soon. Lastly, new roles have opened: The current open roles are: Ashe, Bastion, Baptiste, Brigitte, Doomfist, Genji, Junkrat, Mei, Orisa, Pharah, Symmetra, Torbjörn, Winston, Widowmaker, Wrecking Ball and Zarya.

SERVER UPDATE [20TH OF MARCH, 2020]

Ashe, Bastion, Baptiste, Brigitte, D.Va, Doomfist, Echo, Junkrat, Moira, Mei, Orisa, Pharah, Symmetra, Torbjörn, Winston, Widowmaker, Wrecking Ball and ZaryaBeen awhile, hasn’t it?

First things first...

Echo

As I’m sure you all know by now, Echo was officially announced as a playable character, so she’s now up for grabs in the server.

The server still operates on a first-come, first server basis.

Second-order of business....

Story arcs

Our first story arc post server reboot, Operation Midnight, has finished. We would like to that all of those involved. The second one will be coming very soon.

Operation Midnight ended with a tactical Talon victory.

More news and updates soon.

Lastly....

Roles

As previously stated, there are still roles open, including Echo. They are as followed.

Aaand....we’re back!

First things first, server news!

Original Characters:

Due to one side being severely outnumbered, we’ve closed off Overwatch OCs and encourage anyone seeking to make one, a Talon OC instead. This is to ensure that there’s a much more even playing ground....for now.

Next....

A NEW CHALLENGER APPROACHES!

A new, staff controlled antagonist faction, “Genesis” has arrived on the scene. More details shall be given in the future.

SERVER UPDATE [8TH OF NOVEMBER, 2019]

Hey there, it’s been a while.

First things first, the state of the server.... Due to a lot of people being absent due to school and work, the server has been left vacant for quite a bit. Luckily, we were all able to regroup and sit down to write again recently. A community vote was held, and it was ultimately decided to have a full retcon, especially with Overwatch 2 being a thing now. Now anyone can jump in while the rest of the staff think of new plot points to tackle.

Second thing, character roster.

New roles have opened up! Open roles consist of.... Ashe Baptiste, Bastion, D.Va, Genji, Junkrat, Lúcio, McCree, Pharah, Roadhog, Symmetra, Torbjörn, Winston, Wrecking Ball and Zarya. Lastly, original characters.

Original characters are still open. I’d encourage Talon OCs to be made in order to balance out the sides, but you do you. Until next time.
