didn't go full on emo with it because i wanted it to simple enough that it could still be feasibly animated. idk how well i did cuz i'm not an animator but whatever i think she looks nice :)

act one went INSANELY WELL!!!! i am SO sweaty up here lol. see you all after we wrap!!!!!

getting ready to open for the FINAL SHOW!!! also we’re gonna strike the set on monday, not sunday (thank goodness).

on my way back up to the balcony i ran into one of the seniors who graduated last year, so that’s fun! forgot how strong that guy was lol his hugs are FIERCE /pos. i can’t wait until the shows over so we can catch up and junk.

it’s crazy that pretty soon i’ll be one of the seniors showing up to closing night shows and tackle-hugging people. it feels like just yesterday i was Spot 2 during our production of Lightning Thief…and now i’m less than 20 days away from walking off into the sunset like all of the other cool seniors before me…

emotions always run high on closing night, but i’m really feelin it this time around. man…

i’m gonna miss this place. i’m gonna miss the people i leave behind (of course), but i won’t lie: i’m gonna miss the spotlights too.

i know they’re inanimate objects that feel nothing for me but… i dunno, man. i always find myself patting/stroking them like you’d pet the face or neck of a horse and saying things like “great show ol girl” whenever we wrap. i’ve developed some kind of pack bond with these lights.

anyway, we’re starting soon. i’ll update yall again at intermission!

SHOW THREE DONE!!!

after we got out all the seniors got surprised with a big cake but it was so big that they let the other cast & crew have some too!

i had three slices and i was gonna have a fourth but the lady at the cake table gave me a look when i went to get the third slice so i chickened out on the fourth 😔

we’re gonna take a big picture of the cast, crew, AND orchestra before we break for the next show. color me excited!
