Our leader requested a pet of sorts from the world we are currently orbiting, So we got one. Unfortunately that pet happened to be one of the dominant species of the planet -study of their media says they call themselves humans- and the human hasnt taken well to containment.
I should know because I was tasked of taking care of their feeding, once every 5 hours. Admittedly the first time I was scared of it but I swallowed my fear and approached their cell. It had curled itself into the corner and didnt even look at me. Which relieved me, other studies of their studies about themselves say that humans are hard to take down once angered.
I slid the food into their cell and used my staff to push it closer to them. Still no movement. Admittedly I was hoping it had died so I didnt have to care for it.

Unfortunately it didnt die. Near the end of this week it ate its food which had been piling up in its cell. Only one bowl however.
When I went to deliver food for its third meal they were standing near the front of the cell which had spooked me. I couldnt see it as I approached and I thought it’d be in its corner and it wasn’t. I almost dropped the meal.
It had hostility in its eyes and it just stared as I slid its food in with shaky hands. I left as quickly as I could and i could hear it moving around its cell as I did.
