The Koi

Painted a more fleshed out version of a sketch from our most recent session - the GM said after they saw the sketch that the koi had been. Like. A normal koi just a (recurring) vision, not a vision of a giant koi, but I liked the visual too much to do a to scale version.

AU where Palpatine didn't read the instruction manual and tells the clones to execute "Order 67" (or some other number), which means "execute the Chancellor and all the Chancellor's allies"; he'd put that there in case someone else became chancellor and he had to get rid of that person, but it ends up being against him. (I didn't come up with this idea, but I still love it and I want to see your take on it.)

lmfao that’s hilarious. it’s been my headcanon for a while that order 67 is actually the kill anakin order, because clearly anakin was exempt from order 66 proper, and if anakin didn’t toe the line palpatine would have had to take him out next thing. can’t have a chosen one running around trying to kill you, that’s for sure. i’ve always wanted to write a fic where the chips are discovered to have implanted orders, and they slice into the code, and discover the fact that whoever had commissioned them had gone back in to specifically write anakin out of the order 66 code, and then added another order to kill anakin specifically, which like.

imagine you’re obi-wan, and you’ve got no fucking earthly clue that your entire life for the last thirteen years has been leading to the trap of the sith. you’re just obi-wan, you just do things. and then these chips are discovered, and apparently they’re loaded with all sorts of orders that will reroute the brains of your soldiers against their will, and you’re looking through them all and you stumble across the fact that not only is there a kill command for the jedi, someone wrote anakin out of that one specifically - as in, they wanted him to be spared specifically - and then you scroll down and discover he gets a special kill order all to himself! what the fuck? what are you even supposed to think? clearly someone’s got plans for anakin but what they could be, for whatever reason, and to whatever end, that’s impossible to figure out just from there. imagine the council meeting about that. hello, we’re all going to die, except anakin, who’s still going to die but somehow he’s going to get deader than everyone else? how do you tell people about that. i think anakin’s arrogant enough to be kind of smug about the fact that apparently he has to have a whole murder order all to himself, deep deep down.
