thank you @agostobuwan and @iboatedhere for the tag🫶🫶 here’s a snippet from my rwrb royally big bang fic. after i’ve finished writing this chapter, i am planning on writing something else to give my brain a bit of a break💀

y’all have no idea how long i have waited to finally be able to write this part!! will probably need editing but anyway here we go…

Alex was beginning to get flustered and his palms started to sweat. The frantic drumming in his heart might as well join in with the band in the middle of the room.

Henry’s eyes flick up and meet his, his smile is wicked like he’s been corrupted and it’s putting Alex on edge.

The man is an enigma.

“I’ve been watching you too,” Henry continues in a dangerously low voice. “I noticed how you checked me out just now, do more vibrant colours do it for you Sir Claremont-Diaz? You seem to be awfully fascinated with my figure, my lips especially. Perhaps you would like me to perform for you.”

Alex almost chokes on his own saliva and his eyebrows shoot up in alarm, “What?”

Henry grins devilishly, “Let me rephrase that.”

He leans in close, his breath fanning across Alex’s eye lobe and it starts to set a different kind of heat throughout Alex’s body and starts to turn into putty. He feels the pearl earring flutter against his cheek. His words curl into a sultry voice, “Sir Claremont-Diaz, may I perform for you?”

it’s been a while🫣 and i haven’t even wrote the scene that i really wanted to for my rbb fic today like i planned and it’s so within reach now. but here’s a small snippet. don’t even know if it’s six/seven sentences but here goes😅

Once Henry’s gaze tracks him down, he holds it there and there’s that familiar twitch on Henry’s lips again. “So is Alex. He certainly knows how to take to the floor.”

And there goes Alex’s heart. Plummeting through his chest and deathingly slamming down onto the floor beneath them. And Alex is just standing there, feet trapped to the floor and it’s like time has been frozen as he has fallen under Henry’s gaze.

He feels the familiar hot tickle running down the back of his neck and he hastily clears the lump that is threatening to block his oesophagus. He allows his shoulders to sag for a moment before holding them stiffly.

Alex raises his eyebrows challengingly, his front and demeanour rising up on his feet, “A compliment from a prince? I should be so honoured.”

Henry’s eyes descend from the top of Alex’s head to his feet, a slow grin pulls at his lips, “A simple thank you would be nice.”

And if Alex thought that his heart was already on the ground, it was most definitely six feet under by now.

thanks for the tag @agostobuwan 🫶 I took a week’s break from writing any new content and just started the new chapter of my @aroyallybigbangrwrb fic yesterday and not as far in as i thought i would be but decided to share something to show my participation considering I didn’t do sentence Sunday.

Alex does not fail to notice that Henry’s dress code for this evening is of something rather striking, as he is wearing a velvet bright red fishtail suit. Henry starts galloping around June as soon as the music assembles and Alex watches the way his legs easily bend backwards as he moves. It’s probably because Henry is dancing more or less in his and Bea’s eyeline, therefore they both find themselves glancing at them whilst they chatter.

“You did not fancy participating in this particular dance then?” Alex makes light, a mere breathless chuckle escaping from his lips.

“No,” Bea responds, her eyes drifting back towards the floor. “I shall let my brother take the reins on this one, he seems to be doing a very remarkable job of it.”

What Alex does fail to notice, however, is that when he nods back at the floor in agreement, Bea is smirking up at him.

“Beatrice, Sir Claremont-Diaz,” Catherine’s voice greets them as she approaches in a navy ball gown and matching hat. With that, Alex’s gaze flickers and moves to the Duchess of Edinburgh.

“Your Grace,” Alex bows his head. “What a pleasant evening this is.” He compliments, indicating the energetic atmosphere with his arm outstretched and gravitating around the room. “We were also just admiring the Prince of Wales’ dancing skills.”

Catherine’s eyes are diverted to the floor and she smiles wistfully as she watches her son dance with June. Henry’s look tediously falters as he frowns at his mother when he notices that she is watching him.

“He has always been a very good dancer, my boy - that's when he wants to be,” Catherine recalls, her voice soft and her hand on her heart as she turns towards Bea, “Right Bea?”

“Right,” Bea nods in agreement. “Always could be quite the performer.”

Happy Wip Wednesday, all!

I managed to produce some words like, literally five minutes ago for this specifically from the Neighbours!AU! I didn't even read it over and it's very short, so, sorry for any mistakes!!

His pup isn’t a fan of being in people’s arms but he apparently doesn’t mind it when it’s Alex. David goes easily and licks Alex’s face excitedly. He doesn’t try to throw himself off of Alex’s arms like he does with him.  “He usually doesn’t like that.” Henry points out.  “Maybe when it’s you because you’re all the way up there!” Alex waves a hand towards his head. “He’s a short king like me, we’re safer closer to the floor. Right David?”  Of course, David barks because he has pledged his loyalty to Alex since the moment they met and he lets Henry know constantly.
