So I just saw a post by a random personal blog that said “don’t follow me if we never even had a conversation before” and?????? Not to be rude but literally what the fuck??????????

I’ve had people (non-pornbots) try to strike conversation out of nowhere in my DMs recently, and now I’m wondering if they were doing that because they wanted to follow me and thought they needed to interact first. I feel compelled to say, just in case, that it’s totally okay to follow this blog (or my side blog, for that matter) even if we’ve never talked before.

Also, I’m legit confused. Is this how follow culture works right now? It was worded like it’s common sense but is that really a thing?

To anyone who believes fairy tale romances never happen in real life, may I remind you that JRR and Edith Tolkien met and experienced a forbidden love in their youth, and then were separated for five whole years because of his guardian’s rules that he could not date till he was 21, and she got engaged to someone else only because she assumed he’d forgotten her and lost hope that she could ever be with him, but then on his 21st birthday, he wrote her a letter saying he still loved her and wanted to marry her, she responded basically saying ‘if I’d known you hadn’t left me on the shelf, I would never have said yes to anyone else,’ then a week later she greeted him at the train station and then immediately dumped her fiancé, and they got married and she converted to his religion and danced for him in a flowering field far away from the trenches into which he was drafted, which left such an impression that he crafted an entire story about the most beautiful maiden in the world who danced in the woods and made enormous sacrifices to be with the man she loved, and they had four kids and remained faithful to each other and blissfully grew old together and their gravestones are now marked with the names of that same fictional couple that he created, who broke every rule and overcame every possible obstacle to be together and get a happy ending, who only did all that because he based it all on their own real love story.

This one was originally unnamed when the premise for it was created. I started this a while ago, and then set it on the back burner, but then Lewi dropped this amazing art and it sparked that flame of motivation to continue it -- and gave it a Title.

5. ⚠️Which WIP your most likely to finish or update next?

Either May Their Blood Boil will get an update OR I will finish Vogue in Paradis

6. 💾What is your document of your WIP/ a WIP called? (not the stories actual title but what you’ve saved it as)

Despite how meticulously I keep my Google Drive organized, there is absolutely no rhyme or reason to my Docs Names. Most of the time it is just an extremely vague phrase. But I do keep my Docs ORGANIZED. Each fandom has it's own folder, and within that there are folders for oneshots, series, ideas, and @ic3-que3n (yes - they have a whole ass folder because they put that many ideas in my fucking head.)

7. 🖍Post Any sentence(s) from your WIP.

“Smith.”  At the mere mention of Erwin’s name, Hange starts laughing.   “Stop that,” I sneer at them as I lean back in my chair and cross my arms defensively. Already anticipating where this is going to go – which is why I didn’t want to say anything to them in the first place.  “Stop being in denial then,” Hange wheezes out between fits of laughter.  “I’m not in denial!”  We’ve had this argument before – anytime I bring up Erwin, Hange insists that I have a crush on him. Which I do not.  “Keep telling yourself that,” Hange drawls as they wipe a tear of laughter away from their lash line.  “We’re not having this discussion.”  “And you’re still not getting laid.”  “Hange.” I practically snarl at them.   It doesn’t perturb them in the slightest. “Look me in the eyes and tell me I’m wrong,” and I’m about to answer their demand but then they keep going. “Tell me you don’t think he’s a whole ass meal. That you haven’t thought about what he’s hiding under those bland Oxford shirts and wool pants.”  “I don’t –”  “Or that you don’t think he’s infuriatingly good at his job.”  “That has nothing –”  “Or that you can’t seem to keep your eyes and ears off of him in joint meetings.”  “Well that’s only –” “Or that it’s a damn shame no one has been able to take him off the market.”    The silence that falls over us is uncomfortably tense. And I can’t decide if I want to crawl beneath my desk at the sudden, horrifying, realization that I can’t deny a word they just said – or leap across the table and strangle them for making me realize I can’t.  “That’s what I thought,” they chime triumphantly as they lean back on their hands. Pushing a pencil cup out of its place.  “Get. Out.” I snip between clenched teeth. My hands balled up in fists in the crooks of my elbows to keep from lashing out at this idiot I call my best friend.

Hmm. No. I'm holding this information incase I un-scrap the idea.

9. 🤔What’s a story you’d love to write but haven’t even started yet?

I have a WILD backwards-reincarnation plot cooking in my head right now. I'm going to make the CANON the reincarnation and write a whole pre-canon/part reincarnation for my blorbos. And I am ITCHING to write it like it's no ones fucking business, but I'm determined to get some other projects off my plate first so that I can give it the attention that it rightfully deserves.

10. 🤡How many WIPS are you actively working on?

Hahahahaha...ha...ha... Well. You see...That's not an easy answer. Because I am not good at math and cannot count that high... But. In the last 30 days...Going off of WIPs that I've typed at least 500 words on... 11...

3. 🌍What tags or warnings will your / one of your wip(s) need if you intend to share it? No warning I don’t think… idk I might kill a major character. Haven’t seen where the take is leading me yet. Tags will probably be: loose fairytale retelling, AU, Erwin x Levi, fae!Erwin

4. 🧭An alternative title to your/ one of your WIP(s)? I don’t have an alternative title actually. When I pick titles I tend not to change them.

5. ⚠️Which wip your most likely to finish or update next? …. Either a strip poker aot fic or finally post the last chapter of Remove the Years

6. 💾What is your document of your wip/ a wip called? (not the stories actual title but what you’ve saved it as) Eruri Fae Born. I sort my docs by ship/fandom then by title so I can remember what the fic is about 😂

“But I have a question.” Levi’s small voice was insistent.

Kuchel rubbed her forehead. “You can have one. And then no more till you wake.”

Levi was silent for a second. “Why is every story you tell me about the fae? Furlan gets told stories of heroes and said it was weird that I don’t know them.”

Kuchel huffed at the mothers of the town telling their sons rubbish like heroes. “Because the fae are real and heroes are just a matter of who is alive at the end of a tale.”

“But—“

“No buts. Go to sleep. You can ask questions tomorrow.”

Levi huffed.

Kuchel went back to knitting until the candle burned low.

9. 🤔What’s a story you’d love to write but haven’t even started yet? A story about a incubus and an ace person as enemies to QPR. It was basically just going to be a philosophical dialogue

Levi craves anything, everything. Whatever it takes to drown out the sound of the rain. Because the shower of water against the window pane always makes Levi think of that day. The first few times a storm rolled through the barracks, Levi had found and locked himself in a small closet. He’d slid down to the wooden floor and curled in on himself, wrapping his arms around his knees. It was the same position that he’d assumed in the hallway of the brothel whenever his mother worked, and it was the same position that Kenny had found him in as a child after his mother ultimately died. He stayed like that, rocking himself gently, until the thunder and harsh winds that battered the wooden side of the building passed. But once Erwin got his hands on Levi, those days stopped. Instead of spending the passage of a thunderstorm alone in a confined space made up of panels of stone and wood, Levi now spent them wrapped up in affection – confined by hard muscle and the warmth of another body.

Nobody ask me what the ever living fuck this is, because I haven't a fucking clue. I plead demonic possession. It's the only solution honestly.
