the most important thing about servamp is actually how after receiving their character growth, the narrative puts them in Situation to make their resolve waver... and it wavers

here is the protagonist, mahiru, finding his goal outside of his desire to please his uncle

and here he is 29 chapters later after seeing his uncle got stabbed through the stomach

it's such a realistic portrayal of how healing actually works. servamp doesn't do contained character arcs, instead whenever a trauma seems to have been resolved you fucking bet turns out they STILL have unaddressed problems that have been foreshadowed since their introduction

why yes, the shounen protagonist's heroism stems from his suicidal ideation, which we won't find out until after we read about his abandonment issue, which is where his suicidal ideation comes from

Finally reading the latest translated chapter, I thought Mikuni's handwriting was terrible? If I remember correctly, Misono said that Mikuni's handwriting is usually ineligible. As someone who struggles with writing nicely, I usually have to put in a lot of effort make my writing readable, and yet you can still see the parts of my handwriting that look off. By that logic, the love letters that were supposedly crafted by Mikuni should have something that resembles his handwriting, right? Unless Mikuni has been purposely writing with his non-dominant hand the whole time, feels like Lily seems to have forgotten that particular fact.

Now that I have talked about my new beloved Spirit Hunter series.

I looked at something for my newest OC for Spirit Hunter (because we know ya girl can't go a day without making art for OCs or make a new one lol. I basically breath that stuff) and I was not prepared for what I read. I still can't believe what I saw with my very own eyes...
