The view of the stretch of sea before them is breathtaking, but perhaps not as much as the feeling of Gou relaxing contentedly in his arms. Fuck the rules, they think. At least, for the next hour or two. They’ll leave when glow sticks go out: their neon brightness was only meant to be temporary anyways, deigned to dim and fade out of existence, until they are replaced by the rising sun of another day.
