I really landed myself in a ditch when I decided to turn my one-shot into a 5 part series. I now have to write 4 different one-shots simultaneously because one is already out there, they need to be read separately, have a good plot and connect.

It's important for you guys to know that I think of every chapter of Ursa Major as an act. Every chapter is, in a way, it's own contained story. It follows from the last act into something new. The copy on my computer has "act" instead of "chapter". It's just ao3 formatting was not on my side so saying that each chapter was an act didn’t work.

The fact that the story is in acts becomes a lot more obvious in chapter 3.

Recently, accidentally, I ended up on The Blood of Zeus tiktok videos. As a natural born hater of The Blood of Zeus that's an experience. Reading the comments on those videos though?? Whole other experience I wasn't ready for.

I think people misunderstand "x fell first, y fell harder " trope because it's not about like the one who fell harder loves the other person harder.
