Day 3 Prompt: The Spin Off's

Sol and the gang

Worked on something a bit bigger than normal. A proper character lineup of Sol, Juno, Roto, and Mani. They’re about to get into all sorts of shenanigans and adventures.

Sol: Probably what could be called the leader. Peppy and horribly cursed with a half life of sorts. One of the traits of that curse is shown by her eyes, the other by the shadow. It's generally an asshole.

Juno: A wannabe explorer, adventurer, con artist, etc. Doesn't really know what she wants but wants to seem cool much like the stories she grew up with, to varying degrees of success. Visually impaired and unable to see outside of natural light.

Roto: Mushroom lad engineer in training. They and the mushroom have a major interest in old world technology and their construction. Studied trains for a few years as an apprentice before the start of the story.

Mani: Sol's twin brother. Also cursed but with a poor constitution instead. Has a fascination with technology but not the energy to actually seek an apprenticeship himself. Has read every publicly available machine manual.

I mean, it's perfectly in line for someone with Fett genes to like grumpy animals. Both Boba and Omega have befriended some dangerous animals. So why not have their.... niece?(daughter/spawn) befriend a mangy ally cat. Lol

The Fett's do have a habit of adopting large dangerous animals. Boba with the rancor and Omega with...... honestly, several things. (I would not be surprised if she somehow bonds with the Zilo beast in the finale. She would cause sooo much chaos. ) So yeah, Tally's "Fett genes" probably flared up the second she catches sight of her orange cat for the first time. It was dirty with matted fur, and it looked very hungry. And despite every logical thought in Tally's mind, she decides that this mangy, grumpy mess of a cat needed her help.

Two friends of mine on a private discord sever demand that this headcanon become canon to my au. Lol

The headcanon that is now canon;

Tally had two pets. One all black giant ass tooka and one menace of an orange cat.

The tooka, as they described it, is completely coal black with very sharp silver claws/paws and bright yellow eyes. He is also twice the size of an average tooka and is loud as f@ck. His name would be Creature, and he only really likes Tally. And maybe Cody. If he has tooka snacks on him. Everybody else is on his shit list. This tooka rules the roost too. And he bites. He will bite anyone who isn't a regular to the clone units. The clone kiddos joke that instead of a guard dog, they have an angry guard tooka. Lol

The orange cat would be your average run of the mill orange tabby..... expect he has three legs, one eye, half an ear, and a stump of a tail. And this thing is an absolute menace. It's just a grumpy ass little cat that prowls around the base like a vengeful ghost. Hissing and yelling at anyone and everyone. He forms an effective duo with the Creature as guard animals for the Clone units. The orange cat does have a soft spot of the Clone kiddos, though. Especially Tally. No one knows how or why this cat took a liking to Tally. Or how it just shows up at every base the unit is stationed at. The thing just appears out of thin air like magic.

(Tally doesn't have the guts to tell anyone that she smuggles her two pets on board the carrier with her. Only Aurora knows, and that's only because they share a room.)

Anyway.

I rolled a 2. So let's talk about Tally.

The prompts generated for this week are;

1.) Favorite animal

2.) Can they sing

3.) Do they like warm weather or cold weather?

Okay, so it's a running headcanon in the Star War community that Commander Cody likes cats or tookas. Probably both. And that if he could, he would 100% be that dude who owns like three cats and/or tookas in an uptown apartment with lots of plants. (Or he would just own a straight-up farm somewhere in the country). Well, since Tally is Cody's niece/daughter in my au, ....... so yeah, Tally's favorite animals are cats and Tookas. She just finds them so fluffy and cute, and she loves their mischievous energy. Tally would 110% own that one orange cat that you see on Instagram. The one that somehow has all the brain cells and yet none of the at the same time. (It's definitely not named after Obi-wan as a small joke between the two.) Or she would have that spooky/cute black cat that blends into dark areas like a void. She would probably name the cat Void or Creature or some space themed name. Tally would find it as a small kitten and think it's so adorable small. But then it grows up into a freaking Maine coon, so it's a like jumbo sized mass of black fur.

Can Tally sing? Yes. Yes, she can. Quite well, actually. Now, does she like to sing? Noooooo. No, she does not. This girl hates singing in public. She will sing with her siblings (very quietly) or hum along to a song while doing a chore, but if you ask her to get up on a stage and sing in front of a crowd..... oh buddy. She will not do it. No amount of money or praise will make her budge on this either. It's not so much that she has stage fright (she does but won't admit to it) or anything like that. She just hates singing in front of a crowd. It puts a lot of eyes on her, and there are just certain things that she does not like to do in front of a crowd.

Tally like warmer weather. She will put up with cold weather, but she won't be happy about it. It mostly has to do with her prosthetic limbs, scars, and mechanical joints. Cold weather makes her joints work slower, and it can cause her a lot of pain. Especially in her legs and back. Tally can put up with a lot of pain, but some days are harder on her than others. Plus, ever since her injuries, Tally has a very hard time regulating her body temperature. She does better in warmer weather, with her mother species being more adapted to the heat, but in colder weather, her body temp just drops. It's not uncommon for Tally to be camped out underneath a pile of blankets or laying on a heating pad in colder weather.

Dream girl!! 🌺 🌊

Marin washed up in Calatia, post Link's Awakening. The owners of a tavern in town gave her work and a place to stay, and Marin quickly learned that drunk people were sometimes assholes. She had to grow a thick skin, but eventually got used to the nature of her job (as well as learning that she could bat her eyelashes at some people and swindle them out of money/gifts/favors). She doesn't know much about where Legend is, or if he's even around in the time period she ended up in, but she's hoping to save up enough money in order to travel to Hyrule and find out...

Finally a ref for Marin!! I love her sososososo much, so I wanted to finalize an outfit for her before committing to a ref, bc she deserves something good!! I think I'm happy with this. The design on her corset is supposed to be reminiscent of waves.

Details not pictured: Her skirt falls to mid calf, and fades from the powdery blue at the top to the lighter blue that's the main color of her corset. For footwear, she has ankle boots that lace up and cream colored socks.

It's OC Sunday once again, and I want to talk about more of my Star Wars Ocs!

OC Sunday

I guess.

Idk, I just wanted to talk about my ocs for a bit.

So, I rolled a 6 for this week and let’s talk Max!

And the prompts that were generated with a prompt generator were;

The OC as a child.

Least Favorite food

And Tattoos?

So as a child, Max was a very nervous and shy kid. Not full-on social anxiety needs some type of therapy type of nervous. Buuuut he probably could have done with a little bit of therapy. And having Dogma as a father didn’t help any of these issue. Dogma did try to help his son and build up his confidence as best he could. But Dogma is also a clone who was not raised in the best situation and most of his own anxiety coping method are.... lets say..... not as helpful as he thought they would be. This made Max just a mess of nervous, shy, and bookish kid vibes. Thankfully once he met the other clone kids, he manages to find some friends who help him build up that self-confidence he was sorely missing.

Max doesn’t have a least favorite food. He has food that he isn't fond of but he doesn't outright hate anything. This boy likes to eat and cook and try new things. He is hands down the best cook out of Alpha squad and probably out of the clone kiddos in general. Max is that dude that can being given a mess of random ass food items and make delicious meal in no time flat. Nobody knows how he does it. Well maybe Gregor knows. Those two have bonded a lot since Max joined Alpha Squad.

Max does have the traditional face tattoos of his mother's Mirialan clan and he is very proud of them. He kinda wishes that he had picked a different design then the one his grandfather picked for him. But at the time he was still in his shyer boy mindset and didn’t want to upset anyone. Dogma tried to stand up for his son and let him pick out his own tattoos, but this just ended up in a huge argument at the end of the day. So Max sometimes will alter his tattoo's with makeup borrow from one of the other clone kids. Any tattoos he gets in the future will be of his own design or maybe one of his clone-siblings design. He has a deep appreciation for art and loves to hang up his clone-siblings drawing in his kitchen. (Yes, there is a fridge full of drawings. It is a place of honor to have your drawing hung up on the fridge.)
