An oceanic Mid-Rim planet, Glee Anselm was the homeworld of the Nautolan species, including the Jedi master Kit Fisto. The purely water planet had no solid continents on which to build a civilization, so instead the Nautolans created settlements atop the backs of massive turtle-like megafauna under the waves. They surfaced once every few centuries. During the Clone Wars, the “Star Tours” vacation company offered packaged trips to Glee Anselm.

One issue with getting your career advice exclusively from Star Wars bad guys: they all lose in the end. Even Palps, who has one of the winningest streaks of any movie villain ever, ultimately sees his well-laid plans fall apart around his ears.

And then you have Krennic, who is ABSOLUTELY the guy who would have a library stocked full of Getting Ahead in the Workplace guides and definitely took that seminar on power poses and their use in salary negotiations, but is also possibly the Star Wars guy with the SHORTEST winning streak. All of the above are things we saw him try to do in the movie, but we also saw how very badly those moves worked out for him in the same movie.

Ironically, Krennic’s MO is probably most suitable to real world application, especially compared to “strangle your underlings!” Vader and “have an excruciatingly detailed 40-year plan” Palpatine. I just think this advice should come with an asterisk, like: if your boss can comandeer and wield the planet-destroying super laser you created for him and turn it on you, see page 89.
