Hi there! Beautiful jumper photos! This actually is a female Platycryptus undatus, not a male Habronattus, just for the record :)

Thank you so much for your help! I am new to identifying them. I have been watching jumping spider videos. I love jumping spiders :) I enjoy learning about them. I appreciate your help :)

My first jumping spider portrait session. Forgive me if the face isn't completely crisp. :) I didn't know how long she would be willing to stick around for this quick session so I had to improvise. I found this female jumper in my sunroom hunting for food so before I put her outside I decided to take a few shots with my Android phone. I love jumpers. She is within the Platycryptus Undatus species. I learned recently the correct species and correct sex thanks to a fellow Tumblr. Thanks for your help :) These were not taken with my Nikon. These were taken with my Android but it does have a macro feature which is fairly decent. I actually do not own a macro lens for my Nikon. If I do macro shots with my Nikon I use my 70-300 to get decent macro shots for floral and sometimes insects. A macro lens is still on my list :)
