1) What drew you to / made you pick up and play FE3H? I had played Awakening and Fates and was super excited for 3H, so I was already a fan of the series and excited to play a new game.

22) What character do you headcanon as ace or aro? Because I am ace I tend to default to reading every character as a little bit ace until I come across something to make me change my mind, and 3H isn't one of the games I have like, wildly specific character sexuality headcanons for to begin with but hmm...

I really don't have wildly specific "yes, this character seems [insert sexuality] to me" for hardly any of the characters bc FE casts in general feel very fluid for how they can be interpreted, but I guess if I had to choose characters who I felt fell under the aro/ace umbrella a bit moreso than other characters, I'd say: Byleth, Mercedes, Raphael, Caspar, and Hanneman.

26) Who is your overall favorite character? Dedue, my beloved. The funny thing is when I was reading through all the character profile cards when I very first started the game, I got to Dedue and was like, "Oh, he'll probably be one of my favorites." Dedue deserves the world.

#when it comes to gender/sexuality HCs I'm either ''head empty no thoughts bc I could see many different interpretations being valid'' #or ''this character read so strongly as [insert sexuality] to me that I cannot see them as anything else'' #and I end up being a bit defensive of the characters I do strongly HC as ace bc I am ace and bc there aren't a lot of ace HCs around usuall #oddly enough the only wildly specific character HCs I have for 3H specifically are Enneagram HCs/theories but uh #hardly anyone knows jack about the Enneagram so I don't see the point in writing anything up #and Enneagram was something I studied back in like high school psychology so I'm not even very confident about my Enneagram HCs #anyhow...despite the fandom being Like That I love 3H a whole lot #alynnl #ask game #I still don't have an ask tag

ok, yes. gōnghé, which is…an abbreviation for “industrial cooperative”? Like it was just a term for a worker-run organization? A specific U.S. marine stationed in China interpreted it as a motivational slogan about teamwork, and as a commander he got his whole battalion using it, and other U.S. marines found those guys so exhausting that it migrated into English slang with the meaning “overly enthusiastic”.

That’s…wild. What was I talking about?
