man I haven't seen a turnout like this since isca v rictor over at tournament-of-x. rip your notifications. and I guess I get where ppl are coming from wrt the...overzealous campaigning -- after all, Laura's a pretty big name, and taskmaster's a big enough name to make it into the adaptations even if ppl don't know everything abt him, and ppl tend to attach themselves to fictional characters especially here -- but I hope you're taking care of yourself and not letting it get to ya. thanks for running the tournament, it's been really fun :)

I think I've blocked the main offenders, but it's definitely had an effect on my psyche lol. I feel a bit better prepared going into the next tournament. I feel a little more no nonsense, and less guilty about blocking people or ignoring posts.

Don't beat down other people in propaganda, or in the tags while reblogging the post, I've run gay character/ship polls in the past and when people got toxic it stressed me out too.

Mod reserves right to remove characters who have been submitted in bad faith, or whose source media supports harmful ideologies

Characters headcanoned with/who canonically have HOCD are allowed.

in addition to all the lesbian Laura propaganda: Laura is 100% a trans woman to me. All the themes in her story about gaining her own agency, bodily autonomy, identity, etc as a real person, a real woman, resonate so much from a trans perspective. Also she literally has a deadname.

Oh, that's fine! As long as the characters are different, submit as many as you like! The spam in question was about six of the same character in a row 😅 I'm really happy that there have already been so many characters submitted!
