1. Ventress has suffered sooooo muuuuuuccchhh!😤 Dooku did not need to send Grievous to her planet to dead all of her sister witches! So disrespectful! As much as I’ve hated seeing her traumatized REPEATEDLY, I love this current version of her. She has grown so much (albeit in the worse way possible, but still). She has fought her way to the #2 spot on my SW Faves List. The top spot goes to SoSo (Ahsoka) of course!

Been having this on my mind since watching “Cinderella 3: A Twist in Time” a few weeks ago:

Do you know how much of a MISERABLE BITCH you have to be to have the power to time travel and you choose to use it to go back in time in order to RESUME making someone else’s life horrible?! Like, the Tremaines spent a DECADE making Ella’s life hell while living in HER family’s house and spending (what would’ve been) HER money! And yet, with unlimited power at their disposal, the first thing they did was go back in time to prevent Ella’s HEA with Charming. I’m certain there were other eligible bachelors (dukes, lords, etc.) whose pockets they could’ve attempted to gold-dig, but they specifically went for the Prince because Ella caught his eye, kept it, and they were happily married for a year before the Tremaines ruined it. In addition, she clearly didn’t want much for her daughters because she had raised them to be like her: gold diggers who aspire to be nothing more than kept trophy wives. She was taught to want nothing more so that’s what she passed on to Drizella and Anastasia.

Guuuuuuuuuyyyyyyysssssss!!!! “He-Man: Revolution” DID THAAAATTTTT!!! Rip to King Randor, Skeletor is freaking KELDOR, KING RANDOR’S LONG LOST HALF BRO who was banished and made a deal with HORDAK (hopefully we’ll see Adora/She-Ra and her Etheria crew in the next season🤞🏾) and became Skeletor ergo THEY’RE THE SAME PERSON, Lyn really came through and made up for her HUGE mistake from the last season, and the Teela x Adam ship officially sailed in the most SUPER FREAKING WAY! I’m an in awe! I am amazed! The writers and the artists CONTINUE to do their big ones with this franchise and it just makes me wonder how they’re going to top themselves next season!

Me: You are absolutely right.

Had Mr. Incredible let Buddy get blown up and die (because of his own foolishness), the L Train accident wouldn’t have happened, he woulda stopped Bomb Voyage, superheroes would’ve never been banned, and Buddy wouldn’t have had 15 years to become bitter and plot and scheme to ruin his life because he would’ve already died. On the other hand, I wonder how Buddy would’ve turned out had Mr. Incredible told him just how much damage he caused?

I also finally watched “The Devil Wears Prada” from start to finish yesterday as well. Andrea Sachs (played by the always wonderful Anne Hathaway) is a whole mood and inspiration, okay?! Andy might’ve been low on confidence and style, but do you know the sheer amount of AUDACITY (I think/objectively looking from the outside in) you have to have to walk in to a business that specializes in fashion looking like a soggy, overgrown second-grader and trying to convince IRL Cruella De Vil why she should give you a job?! PURE PUSSY (very strong and flexible muscle) I TELL YOU! Me? I wouldn’t have even dared. However, if my apartment was on the line, soggy second-grader reporting for duty.🫡 Then Miranda was a HORRIBLE BOSS!! She had Emily so scared of failure that that lady stopped eating and came to work with the FLU! Just NASTY!😷 Then, she had Andy doing her kids’ HOMEWORK!!!!😤 That shit woulda blew me, I woulda walked out, and I woulda had Blonde Dude use his connects to get me out of being Miranda Priestley’s lackey. That lady is the definition of being a Boss and a Bitch. Like, two things can be true at once: 1) She is an icon and the moment and 2) She’s cruel and couldn’t give less than half of a fuck about any of her employees; not even the tried and true like Nigel. He worked for her for 18 years and hadn’t seen a promotion ever! And how she used that to positively GAG Andy about how she did the same thing to Emily when it came to the Paris Fashion Week trip?! Damn!😬 While I like how Andy left the world of fashion and faux camaraderie (except for Nigel, he was her only real friend there) behind, I like that she took confidence and no-nonsense with her. As a writer still breaking into my field, I have never related to a character harder than I have to Andrea Sachs at the moment! I wonder if Essence is hiring…🤔😏🤓😝

P. S. Andy’s boyfriend could’ve been a lil more supportive of her considering her daddy had to lend them rent money and, when she started working for Miranda, most of their income was coming from Andy being on call for “The Dragon Lady” damn-near 24/7 (not being paid enough if you ask me, but def more than he was before he got a better-paying job at the END OF THE MOVIE).

I always thought that if they brought “Zorro” back, it would be a third movie to complete the Antonio Banderas-led franchise and pick up at his character Don Alejandro retiring and passing the Zorro torch on to his and Elena’s son, Joaquin.🤔 However, this does look like it could be good by the looks of the promo poster.

HEY HELLAVERSE HELLIONS!!! Woulda said “hotties,” but that’s for Megan Thee Stallion’s fanbase! To Thee Hot Girl and fellow Hotties: HI THERE AND I HOPE EVERYONE’S HAVING A GREAT DAY!!! Anywho, Boyfriend put me on to the Hellaverse with “Hazbin Hotel” and “Helluva Boss” and both had me rolling and damn-near bouta cry! Both shows are rollercoasters of emotions with very colorful and relatable demon characters! So far, my faves are Princess Charlie, Angel, Fizzarolli, Moxxie, and Alastor (even though he’s a lowkey dickhead).😎

My thoughts in general and some hopes for the next seasons/parts:

1. I hope Blitz and Stolas can sit down and have an actual convo about where they’re at emotionally in order to upgrade their situationship to an actual, healthy relationship.

2. I hope Vaggie sincerely apologizes to Charlie and they can mend their relationship.🤞🏾

3. I wonder where Lilith and Lucifer went so wrong to the point where they ended up divorced and Lu ended up with depression?

4. Is Moxxie’s mom actually dead?! Since it’s hell and these demons are people who have already died, she (a demon) can’t die again right?!👀

5. I love how each district of hell seemingly represents a major city/state: Gluttony gave bubblegum Cali vibes, Greed gave gritty Chi-Town or Jersey (from Moxxie’s dad’s accent) with all the bricks and gangstas, and Lust looks like Las Vegas at night.

6. I love how both the angels and demons weren’t quite what I was expecting and, just like people, there are both good and bad seeds in both groups. Not all the demons are evil and some actually want to do better and deserve a chance at redemption. The angels, on the other hand, have become self-righteous and clearly haven’t promoted anyone recently deceased to a major seat at the political table in the last few thousand years because they have a whole undercover extermination squad that most of the angel community was unaware of until Charlie put them on blast. It was also revealed that Vaggie was expelled and left in Hell to die because she refused to mindlessly slaughter a demon child. Really puts “morale” and “gray areas” into perspective, doesn’t it?

I slept on “Scooby Doo: Mystery Incorporated” hard as hell because I finally sat down and watched it with my sis and it wasn’t bad at all!! I really loved how all the mysteries the Gang solved fed into one huge mystery to be solved around the Planospheric Disc, the evolution of Daphred, “Trap of Love” by Daph ft. The Hex Girls, and Velmarcy (personally I think they’re dating by the end of the series, but if I’m reading too much into it and they’re just cute besties, that’s cool too). They also really ate “The Power of Friendship” trope! It was mad cute and ultra powerful and I was living for it! Plus, THEY UNDID A WHOLE TIMELINE OF EVENTS AND IT’S LIKE EVERYTHING IN THE SHOW LEADING UP TO THE GANG DEFEATING PERRICLES LIL EVIL ASS NEVER FREAKING HAPPENED!😱 I was so happy no one died (looking at YOU S8 of “Voltron: Legendary Defender”! RIP to my girl Princess Allura!😭🙄)! The only things I didn’t like about this version of “Scooby Doo” was this universe’s The Hex Girls’ version of their hit “Earth, Wind, Fire, and Air” (wonder why they didn’t just replace “Wind” with “Water”?). “Scooby Doo and The Witch’s Ghost” version of The Hex Girls had the better version in my opinion.🤷🏾‍♀️ Other than that, a nice quick Scooby snack of a show for us fans!☺️

This. This shit right here! Like, the dissociation for them (the racist ones specifically, before y’all try to hit us with the “not all”) would be mind-boggling if it wasn’t something that they always did in everyone’s faces. They don’t seem to understand that in these worlds, they would not be the heroes/the lovable ragtag team of rebels. They would be the villains. Unless they make a conscious effort in undoing the hell damage that their ancestors saw fit to unleash on the entire world because they put into law that it was their God-given right to do so (you know, like how the Fire Nation did to the entire world for 100 years and it wasn’t acceptable then, or how Darth Vader and his homies went around destabilizing and destroying planets that didn’t want to be taken over), it makes them no better than the fictional villains they don’t like yet have similarities with. It’s real simple:

Fire Nation=colonizers/oppressors

The Earth Kingdom, Air Nomads, and Water Tribes=colonized/oppressed

Or

The Separatists/Sith=colonizers/oppressors

The Jedi/everyone else in a galaxy far, far away=colonized/oppressed
