For anybody thinking of trying this who also simultaneously has digestive triggers: topical magnesium butter!

- it absorbs way faster and YES it is possible to overdo it so just start with a normal amount you might use for lotion on your hands or the back of your neck

- it definitely was a safer option for me due to allergen contamination in oral supplements

- your mileage may vary but hoping this helps someone

I'm absolutely reeling about you posting about getting suggested magnesium about your migraines because multiple family members have been crawling out of the woodwork to suggest magnesium to me this week for the same. Literally was going to order it and went on tumblr instead.

Answering this live from my bathroom floor -- be prepared to potentially not have a good time.

i had a dream that time travel was invented and too many people choose to travel back in time to save the titanic from sinking (the question of whether unsinking of the titanic deserved so much attention in the face of human history which was the subject of both heavy academic and online discourse), which caused a rift in the space-time-continuum that led to the titanic showing up indiscriminately all over the world’s oceans and sea in various states of sinking. this caused a lot of issues both in terms of fixing said space-time-continuum and in terms of nautical navigation, and after a long and heavy battle in the international maritime organization it was decided that the bureaucratic burden of dealing with this was to be upon Ireland, much to their dismay. The Irish Government then released an app for all sailors and seafarers so they could report titanic sightings during their journeys, even though they heavily dissuaded you from reporting these sightings to you given the paperwork it caused. anyway i woke up with a clear image of the app in my head and needed to recreate it for all of you:

for clarity: by "messed around" i mainly mean dated, spoken with in an explicitly romantic or sexual way, or hooked up with someone already in a relationship. whether you count an emotional affair is up to you.

#did date someone who turned out to be a baldfaced liar who was still married (and yes he blatantly told me otherwise) #there were MANY things fucked up in that relationship and that was just one of them #but I was a naive just-turned-18 yr old and #he was a 35 yr old who looked younger and lied abt his age #my biggest regret is that I never had his wife's contact info so I could apologize profusely when I found out and broke up with him

here's something stupid: the catcatfish

some quick facts:

they're nocturnal and tend to roam around while awake.

they have keen senses of smell and hearing, but terrible eyesight. despite this, they also have a tapetum lucidum, making their pupils "glow" in the dark.

their fur is short, dense, and oily to waterproof them.

they prefer a diet of mostly meat and are attracted to strong-smelling food like fish, cheese, and anything fermented.

the elongated dewclaw on each front paw is sharp, flexible, and nonretractable. it injects a venom that causes respiratory failure and cardiac arrest in prey and, in extreme doses, humans. veterenarians typically remove the dewclaw venom glands during the neuter/spay procedure.

they grow to an average of 1m and 23kg (3ft and 50lb) but can reach up to double that length and triple the weight!

#I have siblings and we just say “mom” because we don't have different moms #I feel like if we had different moms is would be more of a necessary clarifier maybe? #but even most families I've met with multiple moms just have different names for them real world examples I know of are Mom/Mama #or like they'll say “mom” for their own mom and use their stepmom's first name (or the reverse depending on relationship) #or “Mom” and “Mum”

#I keep losing them so like 6 large ones for paper/general household use scattered in various drawers #but then there's also 4 pairs of sewing scissors in different project bags #and two little kid scissors in the kids' craft drawer #and at least 4 more small travel size reg. scissors that are also in project bags for sewing/beading/knit/etc #and probably some others somewhere I've forgotten about #also if you count hair cutting shears as scissors you can add 5 more to that count #and also my meat shears in the kitchen #and the little adaptable camping multitool ones that fold out #anyways we have scissors
