I just finished watching all of Supernatural for the first time and this post is like a little band aid I sorely need right now. 🥺

I love the concept of Cas and Jack stopping by a corner store on their way back to The Bunker from their own little side-mission in one of the later seasons.  When Jack texts to say they are almost home Dean asks if he can pick up a few things while they’re out, because the brothers have been busy with the world ending for the two-millionths time. 

The stars align in more ways than one. They happen to stop by the place Dean frequents whenever he finds the time to go into town. The person behind the counter knows the usuals and does a little double-take because typically there’s only one person who comes in and orders a piece of every kind of pie they’ve got. They don’t even sell good pies. 

When Cas provides one of the Winchester’s trademark fake credit cards and I.D. that just so happens to use the same last name as Dean’s current alias it all starts to make sense. Dean picked the name because it was a classic rock reference while Cas picked it because he thought it sounded nice, something like Plant or Bloom. They ask if Cas knows Dean and his inexpressive face does its best impression of a smile while Jack starts to enthuse about how they do and they’re going home to see him now. 

The cashier has made small talk with Dean on the days when it’s quiet but he’s pretty tight-lipped about his family life. They do remember him mentioning a brother so they ask if that’s who Cas is. He baulks because he’s been brother zoned enough for one lifetime but blanks on how he and Dean are supposed to have the same last name without being related. Luckily Jack sweeps in to save the day simply stating that Dean is his ‘other dad’. 

The next time Dean’s in the store the cashier says something about seeing his kid a few days ago and Dean smiles. He’s gotten out of the uncomfortable stage with the kid calling him his dad. Last week he told the waitress at the diner Dean was his dad, the week before that it’d been a civilian they’d been interviewing on a case. He just had to remind himself that despite his looks, Jack was essentially a toddler. But when the cashier starts talking about Dean’s husband Dean drops his armful of groceries. The conversation would boil down to something along the lines of Dean rambling,

“Was he ‘bout yay tall, ugly trench coat,  kind of ruggedly handsome? Yep, that’s the guy? Okay’.

When Dean returns to the bunker he storms in and drops his things on the map table in front of an unsuspecting Sam. When Sam asks him what’s going on as Dean makes a dash for Cas’ room to work out what the hell Cas has been telling people he shouts over his shoulder ‘Need to talk to my husband,’ leaving Sam with so many more questions than answers.

His expression melts my cold dead heart. Such an elegant man. Looks so good in a collar, jumpsuit could be improved, but damn he rocks anything he wears. What wonderful Shakespearian acting skills; elegant movement, diction, everything. Such elegant indignance as Loki. 10/10 in all respects. 

No worries, luv. The space elevator will be built about 50 years after everyone stops laughing.

I haven’t even seen the show yet, but you are gonna make me watch it, aren’t you??????? You with your so sweet and awesome descriptions 😂 It sounds so delectable, like you’re describing the most elegant of desserts. 

here’s a thought: hutch’s semi-mocking “isn’t it cute how they totally ignore you when they’re crazy about you” whispered into starsky’s ear in 1x15 the hostages + the whole broken season 4 vibe between them, in which they are absolutely crazy about each other trying to ignore each other, except they still work together, so they keep sniping.

BUT ALSO  “isn’t it cute how they totally ignore you when they’re crazy about you” + starsky literally, almost comically ignoring hutch and speaking through huggy at the end of 4x21 starsky vs. hutch, which means something if you think that at that point they’re still fighting, but it also means something if (which i would argue makes more sense) you think that from the moment they walk into huggy’s they’re putting on an elaborate and quite possibly rehearsed act to get back at kira. which is a long way of saying, i guess, that starsky knows what hutch thinks is cute, and this is him deliberately acting that out.

There's really something about the way Mobius believes in redemption that gets me each time . Not just for others but for himself.

I have a horror of people who make speeches but don't act on their own precepts (most of the political class for example).

The "Do as I say, but not as I do" kind.

But Mobius is not like that, because when faced with his mistakes, he always takes responsibility.

Towards Loki here, for me when he says that, it's a beginning of excuse, they don't have time for big speeches, but the way Loki reacts, says a lot about the fact that he understood the implication of what Mobius just said. To me that means, "I just acted like a jerk, don't believe what I said in anger."

And here, when Sylvie confronts him (and god knows I am not objective as far as she is concerned), does he try to justify himself, does he argue? No he just offers a sincere "I'm sorry".

I've talked about this part before, but that "It's never too late to change" gets me every time. Because it's really like he's giving himself his own medicine and by being true to himself, to his words, by acting on the precepts he preaches, he shows how genuine he is.

confirmed in this last exchange with Loki. He will do what he said. No matter what the consequences for him. Because it is vital for him to fix his mistakes.

And contrary to what the detractors of Mobius, or the worshippers of a certain ship, accuse me of, I do not make Mobius a saint, not at all. It is his flaws that attract me and the fact that when he is aware of them, he does everything to become better. Because that is his deepest conviction. That's what he saw in Loki from the beginning.

Wow, what an amazing drawing. A movie poster like composition and very nicely studied fundamentals. I love the hair textures and the use of cross hatching. Very nice, very very nice. And Loki’s face looking so beautiful.

Petition to have Ben Stiller make an apperance in "Loki" as Mobius's ex partner (on the job, I mean) so that

We can have another cinematographical product with Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson together.

We can pretend that Starsky and Hutch (2004), which featured Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson as cops working together, is actually Mobius and Ben Stiller's character working for the TVA undercover on Earth.

You can apply the same logic to the two Zoolander movies and I want to pretend what happened in Zoolander was a TVA mission. It would be freaking hilarious.

most unrealistic part of loki show is that no one is in love w mobius like ur telling me those tva agents see him on the daily in the hallways??? and dont fall to the ground????? dont worship him??????? dont stutter when they talk to him???? dont make heart eyes for him???????? ur telling me he doesn’t have the whole tva crushing on him???????? NO logic in this
