GOP is happy to spend billions on Trump’s wall. Here’s what they wouldn’t pay for.
Trump is seeking billions of federal dollars to pay for his border wall between the United States and Mexico — an $8 to $14-billion price tag.
Republican House Speaker Paul Ryan said Thursday he’s happy to foot the bill, even without a clear revenue source.
Yet for the past eight years, Republicans railed against bills that had hefty price tags and no clear source of funding
Including:
Health care for 9/11 first responders
Hurricane Sandy aid
The Flint water crisis
Zika virus funding
Only 37% of Americans support the border wall. Read more

Hands down my favorite movie of 2016.
Not only does it shed light on the contributions of women and POC that have been whitewashed out of our history books, it hand a solid cast, a well written screenplay, and beautiful set pieces.

Dear President Obama,
Thank you for being our president these last eight years. I know it wasn’t easy.
Thank you for fighting for this country, for battling a Republican-controlled Congress tooth and nail in order to pass bills and laws that would help people, Obamacare being one of them. Many people did everything they could to block your efforts and prevent your success, but you never gave up, never stopped, never thought it would be easier to let them have their.
Thank you for fighting for equal rights for all people regardless of race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, or religion. There are many who would condemn or seek to harm those who are different, but you accepted everyone for exactly who they were.
Most of all, thank you for being kind. Thank you for being loving. Thank you for caring. I’ve never seen another man who cares as much as you do, and I think we all need to remember your example in the days to come. Your kindness was like a beacon in the White House, a beacon of hope for the scared and the lonely ones.
President Obama, you are my hero.
Sincerely,
America

On Melania
I don't really know much about Melania. I just knew Trump had a wife who was much younger and much more beautiful. Maybe she married him for his money, maybe she truly loves him, but I can tell one thing: she doesn't want to be FLOTUS. Melania has been dragged into this against her will. I wouldn't be surprised if there a gun to her head every move.
