Me about to overthink the future of my series and how it could get too popular or be so bad it faces overexaggerated public ridicule, but then I remember that it's a mostly black cast
anyways it's called 'After the Aftermath' and it 100% the result of me looking at Helluva Day, seeing how fucking. big that was [it's influenced a lot by relationships with death and everything. it covers a lot its actually kinda insane] and getting uh. scared <3
after the aftermath is in the same universe but much more pulled back and smaller scale [helluva day was a story that aimed to parallel stuff on both an individual level as well as large scale stuff like the politics of nationality and shit. there was a lot lmao] as well as like a more focused romance
it's like one of my leads, Mami who is a human [yall have not seen him yet but he has been drew and drawn] settling in a small town [like one of them midwest towns that are more forest than people] after some strange shit happens after he uproots his life for reasons that cannot be proven in a court of law according to his lawyer <3
My other lead, Veil [very much so NOT human. pretty fucked up actually] has already lived in the town for a while and to shallowly describe his role, he's like one of those Strange Creatures who decided humans are cool and he wants to be around them, and the story more or less woks to slowly uncover their pasts and uh. neither of them are good people tbh! kinda dogshit actually, but they're interesting so they get a pass <3
anyone wanna hear me ramble about a webcomic idea im doing for real and not just thinking about rn?
