Wow the sunshine court is great. Really did not expect that chapter-long scene of Jean murdering Neil Josten with nothing but his bare hands (and military grade weaponry) but it made for a really strong opening. I do think the eulogies at his funeral were a little too drawn out tho, and maybe the murder trial was a bit rushed? Still hands down the death sentence was my fav bit, loved the nods to French history by having Jean get executed via guillotine. 10/10
