All around us we see a flow of healthy food and healthy concepts. Physical Health has always been an important part of our well-being.
Itโs important to understand that food, unfortunately, bears the most brunt for our health issues and our lifestyle, of which our diet is only a small part. Itโs time that we spoke about well-being and its relationship to lifestyle as a whole, rather than blaming a diet while just looking at our physical health.
Eating seasonal and local are values always emphasize upon. The world over, food patterns, food choices, and food availability are typical indicators of seasonality.
The stress on eating seasonal and local is not just to support the food ecosystem and our food sources, but simply because itโs a healthier lifestyle.
Ayurveda refers to a healthy balance of mind and body to seasonal choice of food. When you eat locally, you are automatically eating whatโs in season and hence working with the cycles of nature. As we move on to spring/summer time or changing weather patterns can disturb the bodyโs immunity and digestion.
Here are some good health-related pointers:โ
1.Switch to lighter foods that are nutritious yet easy to digest, and definitely high in water content. Fresh fruits, salads, and sprouts are good options.
2.Supplement your diet with exercise. Nothing substitutes a workout or any form of physical activity for a fit mind & body.
3.Stay well-hydrated, with not just water, but any healthy liquid.
4. Have a balanced diet, a good mix of vitamins, protein, good carbs, and good fat and sweets.

CABBAGE PORIYAL

"Bought purple cabbage few days back. Soo can't find a perfect recipe, rather than using it as a Salad".
โฅ In frame - ๐ถ๐๐๐๐๐๐ ๐๐๐๐๐ฆ๐๐ โฅ
เน Ingredients เน
Oil,Cabbage (green & purple(optional)), chopped ๐ง
, chopped green-chilli, soaked moong dal, grated coconut ๐ฅฅ, salt. Optional - Garlic๐ง
For tadka - oil, mustard seeds, asafetida, urad dal,curry leaves, coriander leaves.
เน Preparation เน
๐ธ Take a wok/pan heat oil, add chopped ๐ง
sautรฉe it well. Add green-chillis, add grated cabbage (purple is optional add if you have).
๐ธLet cabbage become shrink - add moong dal (soak it for atlst for an hour). N let it set for 5-6 minz with close lid.
๐ธAdd salt๐ง according to your taste n stir it well. N add grated ๐ฅฅ. N stir it well.
เน For tardka เน -
๐ธTake tadka pan heat oil, mustard seeds let them slit add asafetida, ยฝ tbsp urad dal, Curry leaves.
Pour it all over the cabbage Salad. And sprinkle some coriander leaves over it.
Your healthy & nutritious salad is ready.

CHEESEY TOMATO MACRONI SOUP
๐๐ก๐๐ฌ๐ข๐ง๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐ง๐๐ฐ ๐๐ฅ๐๐ฏ๐จ๐ซ
โงIngredientsโง
Oil, garlic๐ง, Onion, Tomato , Water, Oil, Onion ๐ง
+ spring onions, Cabbage(purple n green), capsicum (red, yellow), mushroom, salt๐ง, Black pepper, sugar, Boiled macaroni, Chilli flakes, Oregano, Dry basil, Piri Piri mix, Ketchup, Processed Cheese.
โงPreprationโง
๐ธHeat oil in pot, add ๐ง+ ๐ง
cook for a minute & add tomatoes n mix well, add water to it & close the lid and let it cook for 10-15 minz.
๐ธWhen it cools down, transfer it to a blender and blend it properly.
๐ธ Heat oil in a wok, add ๐ง
+spring onions and cook for 1-2 minutes.
๐ธ Add mushrrom, capsicum, cabbage to it. Sautรฉe well. Cover with lid & let the vegetables becomes compress.
๐ธ Now, add ๐ง,black pepper, 1 TSP sugar and mix well, Cook for another minutes on medium heat.
๐ธ Add boiled macaroni pasta, chilli flakes, oregano, dry basil,piri piri mix and stir properly. Then, add ketchup and give it a nice mix.
๐ธ Add prepared blended mixture, stir , then add processed Cheese.
๐นGarnish it with more of Cheese & spring onion(leaves)๐น

When you go out into the woods, & you look at trees, you see all these different trees. And some of them are bent,& some of them are straight, & some of them are evergreens, & some of them are whatever. And you look at the tree & you allow it. You see why it is the way it is. You sort of understand that it didnโt get enuf light, & so it turned that way. And you donโt get all emotional about it. You just allow it. You appreciate the tree.
The minute you get near humans, you lose all that. And you are constantly saying โYou are too this, or Iโm too this.โ That judgment mind comes in. And so I practice turning people into trees. Which means appreciating them just the way they are.

โฟ Ingredients โฟ
Water, salt, babycorn, oil, mushroom, ginger, green-chilli, Onion๐ง
, Tomato ๐
, turmeric powder, salt, Asafoetida, cloves, cardamom, cinnamon sticks, bay leaves, red chilli, salt, coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala, fresh cream, Fenugreek leaves, spring onions.
โฟ Prepration โฟ
โ Firstly boil the babycorn by adding salt in water. Untill babycorn thaw.
On other hand with mushroom juz add oil in pan n sliced mushrooms in it, cook untill they turn burnish.
โ In pan add oil, chopped ginger + slit green-chilli, chopped ๐ง
cook till it bcum translucent, add chopped ๐
add salt n turmeric accordingly. Let it get cool down. & blend it in grinder.
โ In pan add oil, bay leaves, cinnamon sticks, asafetida, cardamom pods, cloves and pour the blended mixture into it. Cook it well till boil n add salt as per taste, red chilli powder, coriander powder, garam masala mix it well. Add mushroom & baby corn to it. & Let it cook upto 5-10 minz. Pour some fresh cream into it.
N tada your curry is ready to serve ๐ฅ๐คค

ใก Make a marination by mixing all the ingredients mentioned.
ใก Coat all your veggies in marination n grill it up.
ใก Blanch the Broccoli by adding salt cut into pieces. N coat it in marination & grill it up.

ยค Ingredients ยค
For boiling the pasta - Pasta, boiling water, oil,salt.
For frying - Oil, Ginger, green chilli, broccoli ๐ฅฆ, mushroom ๐, zucchini ๐ฅ, 3 types of bell pepper ( green, yellow, red), black pepper & salt, oregano, Italian seasoning/pasta mix, soy sauce, vinegar, thyme leaves, parsley leaves, spring onions, coriander leaves.
ยค Preparation ยค
โ Boil the pasta as usual. But remember save the pasta stock.. we will be using it.
โ In pan head oil add Ginger , green chilli , ๐ง (optional), add all the veggies , salt as per taste, black pepper, oregano, Italian seasoning, soy sauce + vinegar (as per you taste buds) you can add green chilli sauce too for enhancing the taste๐ n make your pasta taste like Chinese style.
Add thyme leaves, parsley leaves.
โ And let it cook for 4/5 minz or soo.
& Garnish it with spring onions & coriander leaves.
N tada your veggie pasta is ready.
Note - You can add veggies of your choice you want too; can add kernels too.

เน Ingredients เน
For marination - paneer, oil, salt to taste, kashmiri chilly powder, kasuri methi, oil for fry.
For gravy - chopped ginger, dry red chilli, cardamom seeds, curd, degi red chilli, turmeric powder, coriander powder, cashew paste.
For garnish - mint leaves, coriander leaves.
เน Preparation เน
โ For marination take a bowl add oil, salt to taste, kashmiri red chilli powder mix it well, add kasuri methi and add paneer. Fry the paneer slightly.
โ For gravy take a pan add chopped ginger, dry red chilli, cardamom seeds add 1-2 TSP water.
โ In curd add degi red chilli powder, Turmeric powder, coriander powder, cashew paste & mix it well. Pour all the paste.
โ Let set it on flame ๐ฅ for next 10-15 min or untill it becum thick.
N tada your Dahi paneer ki subzi is ready to serve ๐ฅ๐คค
Garnish it with mint leaves & coriander leaves.
