In my Beastman AU, when morphed, the beastmen retain a little animal instinct/habits

Since Wade is a raccoon, I get the feeling when he's morphed into his beast form he washes food

Imagine fuzzy raccoon Wade holding an orange slice or a gummy snack and staring at it blankly before thrusting his fist (food inside) into a glass of water or the nearest creek and shoving it in his mouth before realizing what just happened and just looking at the rest of the crew like "y'all didn't see that did you?"

Mateo likes it when Wade plays with his hair

Wade is normally big-spoon energy but sometimes he just needs to be held gentle so Mateo gets to be the big spoon

Wade actually really likes love songs and sometimes he’ll just sing or hum a tune for Mateo just for fun. And if he’s in a particularly good mood he’ll sing a song for Mateo and slow dance with him.

They would probably get matching tattoos at some point I feel like

Wade likes to lay on top of Mateo’s chest sometimes

Wade isn’t normally easily flustered since he’s the flirty cocky one but Mateo knows exactly how to get that reaction and makes fun of him for it when he gets all blushy and flustered

Wade gets serious bed head and Mateo teases him for it in the morning

Mateo will sometimes pick Wade up just for the fun of it and to be a nuisance or if they’re just in a goofy silly mood

They both spend time together working on the vehicles and keeping each other company while they work, and sometimes they mess with each other and one of them ends up smearing oil or grease on the others face in retaliation

When Mateo gets cold he likes to hug Wade and put his hands under his jacket/on his sides to warm his hands up

Mateo usually wakes up before Wade. Sometimes he has to wake him up if he’s still out. Once or twice he’s pushed him out of bed and onto the floor because he just would not get up 😭

I have more written down somewhere (my memory is awful oops) but these are some of my favorites :)

I like to imagine that during/post-Phoenix, Polina starts opening up more and becoming less of a lone wolf. She stops distancing herself once she realizes that her teammates don’t just see her just as a teammate but as one of their own. Yes she works well with them, not saying she doesn’t, but at a more personal level she finally starts letting her walls down bit by bit.

She softens up with Arthur first since he’s the more level headed and down to earth one. He’s easy to approach, rational, and very easy going and she sees that and feels more comfortable letting her guard down with him. He’s easy spoken and offers whatever advice he has if she’s going through something or is just out of it.

Then there’s Lucas, who is (as mentioned in his bio) a gentle giant and a sweetheart. Sure he’s loud and rough, but he tries to make light of things and tries to keep spirits up. She admires that about him. Even when he’s obnoxious or being a little extra, she knows he means well. Even his more grounded and serious conversations have their soft and lighter moments. And sometimes it cheers her up.

She struggles to get along with Wade at first because. I mean. It’s Wade. He’s a handful. But once she starts to see past his loud and bold approach and realizes he’s more than just a noisy jock and is actually really loyal to the bitter end and too stubborn to give up (sometimes for his own good), he starts to grow on her.

It just finished raining and I have a ramp on my porch. It's a very gentle incline nothing too steep or anything

Well apparently it gets slippery when wet 😂 I just slipped and ate shit trying to get back in the house. Now my arm and hand feels low-key broke 🤣

And I just imagined Wade coming inside after a rainy day from idk taking care of his horse or playing with the barn cats and fucking dying on the porch ramp, meanwhile Mateo is on the porch in his chair watching it rain and he about dies laughing because of it
