If the walls in this place weren’t beyond soundproof, Toshinori would’ve heard some crazy commotion out there. The theif had snagged the keys to his boss’ holding cell, and after successfully opening the door, he quickly stumbles in, slamming it behind him. Leaning against the door, he pants, “Boss!!”

He was grinning as soon as he saw him, but then he blinks, looking confused. He got his hair cut? Ah— Lame. Boss’ hair was cool! Shokanshi shakes his head, that dumb grin returning.

“Hey!” He steps closer, “I wanted to see ya but they wouldn’t let me. So I stole their stupid keys.” Jingling them, he laughs, “Ya should’a seen their faces!”

Gone Supernova

The first they had done was cut his hair.

Funny how that was the thing that was really jarring to him. Long, golden locks now gone, cut short to but a simple buzz that flecked still with threads of white. That white would forever curse him as he looked in the mirror, though it was so small and full of cracks he could barely make out his own face. His features were still bandaged, as the wounds from having the implants ripped from his face had only just started to heal, but Toshinori used that pain as something to focus on besides the intense waves of guilt that passed over him.

He was quirkless, again, and entirely. No stolen quirks. No access to his genetic changes. The tips of his fingertips had been broken to remove the talons, so, they too were bandaged and beat. All they could do now was hold his head as he sat there, alone with his pain in some back room of a precinct.

The villain looked up, for a moment, when he thought he heard a jostle at his door. He didn’t say anything, as he really hadn’t said much since his defeat. Whoever it was would see a broken man, far fallen from the god he had thought himself to be.

That smirk makes him shiver, grinning and even sweating a bit.

His cheeks explode with color as Toshinori whispers in his ear, making it flick a little. “A-ah— ahaha,,,” His hands tremble a bit, so he shoves them in the pockets of his jacket. Shoulders hunch and bright green eyes dart away, that goofy grin staying as he just flusteredly laughs and stammers.

Boss man can’t be weirdly hot and just do that, ok— it’s not fair. “J—jeez...”

He withdrew the claw and smirked, clasping it to his hip as he looked down towards his little favorite. The other’s feral energy did seem to react well to the New Sun and his loyalty was commendable- and Toshinori always rewarded those who proved themselves loyal.

“I reward those who do as they should. Besides…” He slunk around the other, leaning down over him, which was looming due to their height difference, and he leaned in to whisper in his ear. “…how could I resist such a face?” He cooed.

His pale cheeks are a nice, warm pink, and he lets out a breathy laugh. Sho lifts his head a little more as he scratched under the chin, eyes closed happily. Big Boss Toshinori has tamed the feral rat,,,

“You spoooil me too much, boss~..”

“Ah.. G-gee, boss..”

“What? Why play favorites if I don’t get to show it off once in awhile.” He chuckled as he lightly scratched a talon underneath Sho’s chin.

Toshinori kept his hand against his chin and watched the other walk out from the room. When Rui ran in, he gave the girl a nod as well. An odd pair, but they were loyal and, in this time, that was enough of a trait to mean something. Even if Shokanshi probably got away with more than he should- The New Sun wouldn’t admit that there was something particularly charming about the man.

“Just don’t draw attention…or at least try.” He offered as they left, a sigh leaving him as he squeezed the bridge of his nose.

Sho gives him a big dismissive wave, “Oh don’t wooorry about it! I haven’t been caught yet, have I?” Before Toshinori has the chance to respond, the man starts to slip out the door, clawed hand waving. “Byyyyee!”

And so they were gone. They’ll be back pretty quick, they always are. Sho is practically a professional when it comes to stealing shit. And Rui is the best distraction.

The tone drew a smirk to Toshi’s lips, his hand rested to his hip as he looked over the thief. It was true that he couldn’t quite walk out amongst the crowds as was, so having an inside man who could? Convenient.

Toshinori rested his chin into his upturned hand.

“Get me something chocolate.” He finally admitted.

Shokanshi shoves his hands into his jacket pockets, rocking on his heels. He laughs when his superior admits to wanting something. “Alright, chocolate it is.”

He turns to shout down the hall. “Rui! Let’s gooo girlie!” Soon, the young hooded girl skips into the room. She gives Toshinori a sharp tooth grin, “Hi, Mr. Boss!— Bye, Mr. Boss!”

She happily heads toward the exit, and Shokan shoots Toshinori some finger guns and a wink. “You’ll get your chocolate in no time.”
