the worst part about all of this is i have to answer every random phone call i get because it could actually be someone important. i talked on the phone 8x yesterday and as someone who actively avoids phone calls thats more than ive done in the last year.

i literally dont know this man . he left when i was 11 and he was never around before that . he made no attempt to contact me after my parents divorced . his friends talk about how good of a person he is but i know nothing about him . and they expect me to just put my life on hold to support him . they gave me a to-do list of people to call and things to find but i'm dealing with my own shit i cant just stay 4hrs from my home&work&partner to get my 50yo alcoholic father back on his feet .

my 3yr anniversary is today & instead of being w my bf im in a shitty motel 4hrs from home because my absent father decided to drunk drive and got in a car accident and has nobody to take care of him . i had to cancel all of my weekend plans and i might have to stay with his weirdo ex girlfriend who cant stop touching my arms and shoulders . shes optimistic that this is his rock bottom and this is the wake-up call he needs to get better but she said that a year ago when he attempted suicide . im really tired .
