I was chatting with some people at my uni the other day and one of them was a tif. She started talking about trans stuff and I tuned into the conversation bc I was interested in what she might say and lord.

The way trans people absolutely 100% genuinely believe that they're going through a genocide right now. She was saying that Florida is in stage 9 !!

The terrifying thing about all of this is how bad the fear mongering has gotten. There is no stage 9 genocide of trans people in Florida. And yet she was saying that this was the case with absolutely certainty, and that she was scared for her life.

The damage the trans community are doing not just to the bodies of these young people, but also their minds and mental states is absolutely horrifying. Right side of history my ass.

this kind of criticism is a transparent attempt at gatekeeping the topic of palestinian genocide, which in turn causes less awareness to be brought to it. “genocide bad” should never be a controversial statement to make, yet here we are bc so many people consider arabs to be subhumans. it’s time to not only confront this internalized racism, but also the severe lack of compassion so many people are too comfortable showing off.

i was remembering a conversation i had not so long ago with a male acquaintance. we were talking about pornography, and we both have the same view on it regarding that it's unhealthy. however, not even once did he mention the sexual explotation of women in the porn industry, how it revolves around male pleasure, depicts male genitalia as an instrument of harm and distorted the experience of intimacy. no, he only talked about how it was quick dopamine and thus resulted in male depression because they now felt the need to jack off every five seconds. because it's "unhealthy" for men and promotes unrealistic standards on THEIR bodies. and not just him, but every man i've seen talking about porn addiction almost always talks about how it affects THEIR intimacy. a proof of how they see the biggest issue as collateral damage because they're not afffected by it

Deeply disturbed by the label of sex work. Rape isn't work and no amount of sugar coating will change that. Funny how it has always been men who created the whole men protect women thing, and yet feminism is blamed for it? It is other men who pushed this belief that women are somehow weaker and that man need to protect. We didn't create these standards, men did. Infact, so many of us are fighting against this notion of women needing protection, yet we're still being blamed.

Men have sacrificed/crippled themselves–

SHUT THE FUCK UP. How many women in South Asia and China were forced by their husbands/In laws to have sex based abortions just because their fucking fetus was a female? How many women are forced to get pregnant because their husband wants 5 children? How many women spent HOURS cooking, cleaning and taking care of their kids all lone? How many women have to deal with lazy fathers and husbands? How many women have to deal with men leaving them because of illness? How many men have had to chose between career and family? ZERO. So many women I know and have seen online suffer through multiple mental helath issues like depression, chronic stress, ptsd and even body pain because of awful and chore-like their marriages are.

We feminist do not need to register male achievements because men are always celebrated no matter what.

one thing I'm grateful for is joe's team's incompetence. you even don't have to know anything about sophie, her career, how many kids she has, etc. to see them building a narrative that's wholly unfair and untrue. i mean who does that to someone they have children with? an asshole, that's who.

joe is trying to destroy her reputation while simultaneously presenting himself as this wholesome homebody who just loves taking care of his daughters. it's not working because:

sophie's main image today is that of a mother. she's been the primary caretaker of her kids in the eyes of the public while her husband went on endless tours
