This is my first multi-chapter work on Gwynriel! This work is a modern AU with the usual romantic tropes we all love.

Summary: Azriel Singer is an executive at Night Corp. He’s powerful, good-looking, sought-after - and knows it. He doesn’t date, preferring one-night stands over anything more complicated.

Gwyn Berdara is a research analyst at Night Corp. She’s smart, witty and beautiful without realizing it. She doesn’t date, isn’t interested in a casual hookup.

Their best friends are getting married and between wedding events, social activities and work, they already see entirely too much of each other. Azriel thinks someone like Gwyn is too good for the likes of him, so he aims to irritate the shit out of her instead. Gwyn thinks Azriel is a shallow fuckboy who could never be interested in her.

So how can their keep out of each other’s way – and out of each other’s thoughts?

Thanks for those who read my first fanfic ever - I ended up writing a second part to the story which is pure fluff and banter involving Nesta, Gwyn and Bryce having a girls' night and enjoying all the creature comforts that modern Crescent City life has to offer.

This fic is related to my other short story, Dancing While Intoxicated (which is Gwynriel-centric). Each story can be read on its own, but they work together too as each captures a different moment from the Night Court’s trip to Lunathion.

Chronologically this story occurs the day before the events of Dancing While Intoxicated, but I kind of feel like DWI should be read first.

A03: Dancing While Intoxicated

Just wanted to share my first fanfic ever, written for all the Gwynriel stans like myself. I just couldn't get the idea of Azriel as a club rat out of my head, so I wrote it. Thank you!

Summary: It’s been more than a year since Bryce first found her way to Prythian, several months since Nesta realized she too could walk through worlds using the Trove. Azriel, Cassian, Nesta and Gwyn were in Midgard for reconnaissance, but that didn’t mean Bryce was not going to take the opportunity to show them some of the best that Crescent City had to offer.

What if members of the Night Court were able to walk between worlds and visit Bryce and her friends in Crescent City? What if during one of those visits, some of them end up at a night club?
