Inspired by @zaxal‘s headcanon:

who leaves the bathroom door open: sometimes leonard leaves the door open if he’s showering and trying to lure sheldon in with him.

which can be read along with many other gems in this wonderful post.

Leonard squeezes shampoo into the cup of his palm. He stares at it as the hot water beats against his back, trying to recall which ingredient Sheldon had said causes the pearlescent sheen. It does nothing for his hair, he remembers that much… but he’s always liked the look it creates. The way it transforms something from ordinary and mundane into a mesmerizing visual.

A soft click echoes over the tiled walls and Leonard smiles.

Glycol distearate.

He upends his hand over his sopping hair and begins to lather. Takes his time with it, fingertips running in small, linked circles over his scalp. The amount of foam he generates forces him to close his eyes against the potential burn.

There’s a soft rustling just beyond the shower curtain, and then from the curtain itself.

Leonard takes a small step back, allowing the water to send the foam cascading down his body in wild rivulets. He makes sure to rinse just as thoroughly as he’d washed. If he doesn’t, he won’t hear the end of it.

It’s no surprise to him when he opens his eyes and Sheldon is towering over him not two feet away, but that doesn’t stop Leonard’s breath from catching in his throat at the sight of him, naked and confident and pondering.

“You left the door open,” he says.

Leonard wets his mouth needlessly and tries for feigned innocence, blinking the water from his lashes. “Oops?”

Sheldon chuckles, low and breathy. Leonard wants to hear it for the rest of his life.

“Just ask next time, Leonard.”

I’m not sure. It seems to work fine for me. I checked the fanfic subreddit and there’s been a couple posts about ff.net accessibility within the past month though, so it seems you’re not alone.

One of the users suggested it might be browser related. You could try one of the suggested browsers here and see if that resolves the issue. I hope it helps!

I know this blog has been kinda inactive for a while. I recently got hit for a wave of nostalgia for this show and specifically this ship. I think I stopped watching at around S7, but I was wondering if there were any later episodes that are big ones for this ship that would be worth checking out?

You're right, we are for all intents and purposes inactive, but we do keep the blog up for sporadic content and asks like yours!

Unfortunately, neither of us finished the series, so we're hard-pressed for a full list to share. It's also kinda hard because there are some really great Shelnard moments in episodes that are decidedly not Shelnard-y. Still, we did a little digging and have a short list of episodes from seasons 8 and 9 that might be what you're looking for!

That fic you posted has sent be hurtling back into Shelnard full speed. I miss them so much. Haven't watched tbbt since it ended, I want to start a rewatch asap. Been binge reading fics for days and having FEELINGS. Looking at that fic exchange from 2016 and I just can't believe that was 5 years ago, it can't possibly have been that long.
