This could be a real funny game
Tumblr media
Rules:
roll 2 dice.
make a rectangle with the sides generated
The rectangle must be connected to your existing territory.
The first players first rectangle is placed in a corner. The second players first rectangle in the opposing corner.
If you cannot make the rectangle generated you skip your turn.
When all space is filled you end the game.
The one with the most territory wins.
Strategy:
Any unclaimed territory cut off from your opponents territory will eventually be yours. Like the unnumbered squares in minesweeper it is free real estate. Try to cut of an area as large as possible from your opponent to get as much of this as possible. If both players follow this strategy it’s almost entierly based on luck.
Variations:
You could also elliminate a player when they cannot place their rectangle. Then the other player get roll for as long as they can place their rectangles. This version is much more strategic.

A change in URL!
Hello, everyone! I've finally gone ahead and made this Tumblr an OOC one for myself. It previously belonged to Vinarei Brooks (and partially Verlai Devereaux).
Both characters are dead, and now that I've returned to the game, I created a new OC: Chrih (an Alliance loyalist working as an operative). Her IC blog is here: @the-soulbinder

After taking a break for a few months, I've come back to write a new character. Really looking forward to this one!!
Chrih
(Pronounced: Cree)
Chrih is an Alliance loyalist, working as an (unoffocial) operative during past wars, and the one we find ourselves in currently. Previously an Auchenai Soulbinder (freed before locked in the tunnels of Auchindoun), she has trained over the centuries in necromancy and shadow magic, but has a deep fear of allowing those magics to drive her mad and since has (mostly) given up the use of such abilities. Now, she uses/manipulates her own energy, and the energy of others, to take down her foes in behalf of the Alliance.
While I will take her to the city IC on rare occasions, she is mainly found out in the world. A lot of the game play done in the world OOC will be taken IC. I have no intentions of making her a hero of the Alliance, but she absolutely is out there hunting Horde warbands, taking down trolls, and blowing things up on specific Alliance missions. Chrih is lawful neutral (for now), and has the view that as long as her deeds are carried out in a manner that benefits the Alliance and the war they’re in, then anything is acceptable.
Chrih has a strong hatred for orcs and blood elves, and will hopefully be highlighted in several RP/stories planned. I can’t wait to delve further into the character and move further into RP! I’ve never had the opportunity to really get in with the current in-game world story due to the characters I wrote, so I’m really looking forward to Chrih.

So, I finally finished up a playable version of a board game I'd been working on since January. (Personal, not to market). It's a cross between a D&D adventure style (with adventure cards that allow you to move around the board and collect different things), and Hearthstone (having to battle other players/heroes and various monsters). It's very straightforward and playable by any age without confusion! (or so I believe)
The point of the game is to collect enough cards from the Tradesmen, along with taking from other players in order to defeat one of four bosses at the top of the board, thus allowing your hero to leave the land of Verlisia and head back to the real world. There's a lot of player sabotage, deaths, tricks, and more!
Anyway, I just wanted to share because we played for the first time last night and it was a blast!
I created the map in Photoshop and Illustrator using the maps from: www.patreon.com/maphammer
I created the playable heroes and the boss monsters from: www.patreon.com/PrintableHeroes

I just wanted to send a personal thank you here. Your donation helps so much ❤️ hope things are going well for you and maybe I’ll see you in game soon!
You're very welcome. I know what it's like to be in that position, and while it wasn't that much, it'll hopefully help just enough. I really hope you get there!! And for anyone else, please check out the link to follow and help in any way you can!
