Guy from my guitar class who has made insensitive comments about gay ppl before and hangs around with homophobic pricks got assigned to a biology project with me, my bf, and some other guy. During it, I accidentally was too comfortable and referred to myself and my bf as being a guy like them two, and accidentally slightly flirted wirh my bf and I made a lotta gay jokes-

Dude went along with it, laughed at a couple jokes actually, and we never got into any conflict. Our group was probably the chillest one there, we literally had no opinion on the project nor did we understand what the fuck it was

Come to my guitar class, I'm late due to being talked to by a counselor and bring the teacher a note. There's one of the guys who's friends with this dude, who idk might be homophobic (he's def a Christian and has made shitty comments), who I always overhear talking to them (they sit right behind me) and ranting abt how he's treated by like, adults and/or parental figures and how bad he hates his therapy and yadaaaa..

Well near the last 10 or so minutes of guitar class, the phone rang and dude went 'god hope I'm not being called to my therapy appointment' and I'm thinking to myself 'that's me 💀'

Ofcourse teach comes over and tells me to go to a meeting in the office, and I exclaim 'again? I was just there!'

Dude who's prolly relieved it wasn't him starts laughing and mocking what I said, 'again?!' as I leave

Come me walking to the restroom after the meeting, where the counselor gave me a suicide assessment, and seeing them walking from the guitar room, I overhear them talking,

Dude who was in my project, looking at me: 'hey dude!'

He kept repeating that differently phrased a couple times until Dude with therapy issues looks over, 'that's not a dude?'

Dude in the project: 'Pretty sure that's a dude!'

Now my conflictions are evident as I cannot tell if he was joking or not cuz he always has a silly tone of voice no matter what, istg
