I know, evil Google, all my data is theirs, but on my Pixel, when somebody calls, the phone sometimes already marks some numbers as potential scams. It also gives you the option to screen the call.

Which means the Google Assistant picks up the call for me and I can watch a live chat transcript of my phone asking the caller to state their name and business and I can read what the caller's reply is live.

After which I can pick up, hang up, or mark them as a scam caller, without needing to speak to them.

Never had an iphone, so I don't know if Siri does this for you too, but it's definitely the first android phone I have with this feature.

Google, you make my life so convenient, I wish you were less evil...

purge of 2002? of 2012? what ARE those?

Oh, how quickly the past is forgotten. 

They are part of the reason A03 is a thing now. Not the whole reason, but part of it. 

The Great Purges of 2002 and 2012 are when ff.net got a wild hair up their ass about THINK OF THE CHILDREN and nuked any fic posted on there that was explicit. Thousands upon thousands of nc-17 smutfics were lost.

It’s what led to the creation of alternate hosting sites for smutty fic…AdultFanfiction was the one I went to…but thousands of fics would never be recovered.

You know in OPLA we got a lot of scenes of Zoro and Nami reacting the same way to Luffy, because in OPLA they met Luffy at the same time, so they are both getting used to who Luffy is. What I would really like from season 2 is for Luffy & Zoro to find their proper wavelength.

Which would of course leave Nami (and probably sometimes Usopp) to be on the exasperated side.

I know all straw hats have their in-synch moments, but I just have to look forward to the Captain-First Mate duo, now with Zoro fully committed to the crew.

But also, I keep wondering if they will do a version of Whiskey Peak or not... we'll see, I guess.
