Alkathos is a gritty, dark setting; even its verdant elven lands are run-down. Elsewhere, Grento and its Kenderhell stronghold features renowned warriors, though its people also live in abject squalor, their home developed with mentions of rampant illness and terrible violence.

Food pantries are still struggling with the influx of people not being able to afford food: especially in the Greater Boston Area. I am donating 75% of royalties to these local food pantries. This is available for free on KU. This has been compared favorably to the Lord of the Rings and the Wheel of Time.

Welcome to the Desecration of the world, a Dark Fantasy similar to the Lord of the Rings, and if you look above, there’s the endorsement!

Grief
He read the book, the one book that would hold any significance. His thoughts as he read the contents of the book, thoughts of a friend long lost to Leukemia, the pictures implanted on the pages with her beautiful smile, her smile so filled with life which he was cursed to never feel the same happiness. His own pictures he saw himself, smiling also, but then, back then it was only a mere facade to hide what he was truly feeling: Pain and regret. She loved him, and he could hardly say he felt the same. She deserved better, he thought, than a monster like me. The world, when she departed, became ever more darker, and for the brief small moment of three years, he thought, if he could only bring his heart to open up to her entirely, he would have found a purpose for his miserable existence. And now, just like them, and just like Slithers bleeding out on the scorching sand, Jennifer would only become a memory, fading into the mist. If only he could give her his name, but how could he, when even he didn't have it.

Some language. Any and all feed back is more than welcome. If it doesn't feel like it is fantasy, it is more character focused than filled with magic.
---------------------~The monsters and Demons aren’t hiding in my closet or underneath my bed: I’d be fortunate if they were that far away. No, they are all running amuck inside my head.Ghost, ducked behind the bags of sand, his heart pounding so fast, not with just sheer adrenaline, but the vision he saw was so horrible, he knew he wouldn’t want to be a live to see this, again and again. And again! He covered his hand with his mouth as Slithers, Ticker, and Butcher crouched to the side, hiding behind the sand allowing the gunfire to finally subside. Slither’s mouth was covered in her own blood covered hand as she stifled a cry, knowing that even the slightest sound would give away their position from the enemy. The enemy that they swore to protect and fight for! Did they?Ghost took measured breaths as he tried to control himself. He knew his decisions weren’t as near calculated as they were in the past, as this incident was beyond unprecedented. Today, now, these last two months led him to question, why? Why was this all happening? And then he remembered what General Snells said, right before he gave the order. Treason. The words echoed inside his mind like an empty chamber, nothing but that word was in his mind. It repeated itself inside his mind, again, and again, and again, so frequently that he forgot the temporary, and last mission he was sending them on. Area 51.“We need to go.” He said. His eyes scanned as the gunfire finally stopped and the engines started roaring again.“Ghost,” Butcher’s face was grave across her face, her hands trembling at her side. “Why did we do nothing? They are dead because we did nothing. What did you do?”“I did nothing. You did nothing. They did nothing.” He replied, knowing full well, and bearing the guilt of killing the four that were down there. That was his fault. All of the blame was on his shoulders and he would not bear it if he could. But he had no choice. He never had a choice. “You and I both know, none of us were making it out a live tonight. These last few moments are going to be the most defining moment in our time. We were born to live and die in obscurity. But we need to go. We—we’ll see them again before the night is over; on the other side.” A tear escaped his eye. “But damn it all, we are blowing up Area 51, and taking every last one of those sons of bitches with us. That will be our legacy, and perhaps they’ll learn their lesson to not repeat this mistake ever again.” We were just unlucky. That’s all. We were just thirty-two men and women who got the unfortunate short stick.“Ghost! That is insufficient. We need to do more than just—”Bang! Ghost saw a flash in the distance. He grimaced as the flashing bullet grazed his cheek from behind. His heart raced as the shot missed him, and his pupil watched the bullet in front of him. He was dazed, not knowing how they knew they were here, watching. Or, was he watching all along.

Peanuts
“Well, lets put these grim talks aside for now.” Jennifer said, clapping her hands together. “I’m hungry. We’ve waited long enough!”
She started pulling out the wrapped sandwiches and tossing one to Samantha, Matt, and Erik. She then tossed them a bottle of water. They unwrapped their sandwiches and began to eat. Erik was given a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.
“What is this?” he almost spat it out.
“Oh, that’s just peanut butter.” Jennifer replied, shooting a smile over to him.
“What! You know this! I am allehgic to freaking peanut buttah!”
“Well, well, well,” she snickered as she covered her smile with her mouth. “I hope you didn’t fehget yeh epi pen.”
“Erik, shut up and eat. We all know that’s a lie. You just hate peanuts.” Matt laughed.

Not of my own choice, I became a hero for peace, and I did whatever I was ordered to do. I killed, and I killed, and I killed. I killed without halting. I killed until I finally stopped caring. Every life I stole meant I was one step closer to obtaining peace for the world. And then, at last I finally achieved it. With such an impossible task, you’d think that would make me happy, but that wasn’t the reward I received ‘cause I became unnecessary, and as such, I was framed for treasonous activity not of my own doing, and I was executed. Again, and again, and again!

Major McCurdy was sitting in her office. It was quiet for sure, as it always was at 0400 MSK. She knew very well it was still very early for many other soldiers within the barracks. She can still hear separate boots on the ground, walking and echoing off the empty metallic corridors of Sverdlovsk base. It was a very quiet, and secret base. Moscow didn’t know they were here. As a matter of face, only few people in the world knew they were here. It was a location classified above top secret.
She yawned as she took a sip of her coffee, watching her computer screen, monitoring the emails that came in, and the screen, watching vehicles drive by, not suspecting anything at the side of the Ural Mountains. She watched every single car suspiciously. She picked up a photo frame, she looked carefully at the picture, of her beloved uncle. Uncle Adam, what happened to you, it was cruel. It was cruel what they forced you to do, that forbidden project. Damn it. This world is cruel. Why?

Covenant 5: The Legend of Aikanaro
Chapter 5 The Legend of Aikanaro Kac, Yun, Yurilo and Lorana met in the dining area of the tavern in the morning. They had their breakfast, and agreed to set out to look for the dwarf. “I have one last order of business to discuss though.” Kac said to the group. “I wish to add to our party another companion. One from the Ranger’s Guild. She knows Yun very well, so we will not be utterly blind in…

Covenant Chapter 4
Chapter 4 The Mission Received Mahtan, Luinwe was sitting in his office. He just received the order that he was to take care of much of the administrative duty by Yun, through Uronos. He looked through the files of paperwork, through uncompleted tasks that needed to be fulfilled. He looked at one such task, appointed by Kora, through Solistus. This was filed a month ago…why is it not completed?…
