could i get NoyaYaku (Yaku and Nishinoya) where one of them is v sick and the other has to take them home and take care of them? Thank you!
This isn't exactly a "sick"fic, but I think it still counts. I hope you enjoy it! Despite the title, there is a distinctive lack of Lev in this (lol).
Lev v. Liberos
Word count: 813 words
Yaku Morisuke is an idiot. That is one fact Yuu is certain of at the moment as he places a cold compress on the other libero’s forehead. Yaku is half-conscious at best, delirious with pain and exhaustion. Yaku groans when the compress makes contact with his bruised forehead and shut eyes. Yuu sighs and rubs Yaku’s nape soothingly. Yaku hums in appreciation, and Yuu gives him a weary smile.
“I can’t believe you,” Yuu huffs lightly. “Playing volleyball with a migraine and getting smacked in the face by Lev’s spike? Just how reckless are you?”
“S’not my fault,” Yaku slurs tiredly. “Lev’s ‘n idiot, an’ I‘m just unlucky, I guess.”
“Did Lev make you play today?” Yuu grins cheekily.
“No…” Yaku moans, “but it’s the third day of trainin’ camp. What else was I s’posed to do?”
“Go home? Sit out? Tell your coaches you weren’t feeling well? I can keep going if you want,” Yuu smirks.
“You’re so mean, Yuu…” Yaku groans, wincing as the compress slips and allows light to reach his eyes. “You would’ve done the same thing, so it s’not like you can talk.”
“But I can talk, Morisuke, because I’m not the one with a migraine and moderate concussion, am I?” Yuu lectures as he readjusts the compress over Yaku’s eyes and forehead.
“Don’ remind me,” Yaku moans miserably. “I feel awful.”
“I know, Morisuke,” Yuu soothes softly. “The ambulance will be here soon, and then you can get all the pain meds you need at the hospital.”
“Sounds nice,” Yaku says, shivering at a sudden bout of chills.
Yuu unzips his tracksuit jacket and drapes it over the older libero wordlessly. Yaku snuggles into the new source of warmth, silently wishing to be wearing his own tracksuit right now. He is still in his practice clothes and hasn’t gotten the chance to change since getting hit by Lev’s spike.
(The spike hit Yaku hard, and he was pulled off the court by Kai and Kuroo after failing to get up after a few seconds. The other third years interrogated Yaku until they were confident that they knew everything about Yaku’s current health situation as Coach Nekomata called an ambulance. Then came the difficult part. Someone had to stay with Yaku and go with him into the ambulance. Ordinarily, this role would have fallen to a Nekoma coach, but Yaku adamantly refused this option. He wanted the practice match to continue without him, and that couldn’t happen if a coach was missing.
Instead, Yuu volunteered without a second thought. He liked the older libero and enjoyed his company, but his primary interest was leveling the playing field for both teams. If Yuu waited with Morisuke, neither team would have their regular libero playing, so no one would have an advantage. Additionally, it would serve as good practice for both teams’ reserve liberos. And that was how Yaku and Yuu came to be sitting outside the gym doors, sheltering from the sun under the walkway cover. Yaku was resting on a bed of Kai and Kuroo’s tracksuit jackets with Yuu keeping dutiful watch beside him until the ambulance arrived.)
Yaku rolls onto his side, face a pale shade of green. “Yuu…” A breathy moan escapes Yaku’s mouth. “I’m gonna…”
Yuu grabs Yaku’s shoulders roughly, forcing the boy into an upright position before leaning him away from the jacket pile. The compress slips off Yaku’s forehead in the commotion, but Yuu is too focused on Yaku’s present dilemma to care. As soon as Yuu finishes positioning Yaku, the Nekoma libero lets out a fierce wretch, vomit spilling from his lips onto the walkway. Yaku sobs as he vomits harshly onto the ground.
“Shhh,” Yuu whispers, rubbing Yaku’s back. “Just let it out, Morisuke. It’ll be over soon.”
Yaku cries each time he throws up, and by the time his wretches subside, Yaku’s face is blotchy and red with tears. Yuu settles the older boy back onto the jacket pile, lying him down and covering his face with the cold compress again. Yaku’s sniffles die down into uneasy silence. Yuu ruffles Yaku’s hair softly, mindful of the boy’s excruciating headache.
“Thanks, Yuu…” Yaku sighs, drained both mentally and physically.
“Any time, Morisuke,” Yuu smiles brightly. “Get some rest, but try not to sleep. You’re not supposed to do that with a concussion, you know.”
“I know,” Yaku has just enough energy to huff lightly before nestling back into the jackets beneath him. “You’re coming to the hospital with me, right?”
“Yeah, so don’t worry. I’ll be with you the entire time,” Yuu ruffles Yaku’s hair again.
“I’m glad,” Yaku smiles.
Yaku relaxes into the jackets, and his breathing evens out. Yuu knows he’s not sleeping, but he’s just glad Yaku’s resting for once. Then Yuu hears the wail of an ambulance in the distance, and he knows everything will be alright.

what is a whump
According to Urban Dictionary,
Whump is "Taking a character and putting them through physical and/or mental torment and is typically followed by the same character being treated for their traumas. To indicate the characters place in the situation they’d typically be called a whumpee (the character being hurt/comforted), the whumper (the character that causes harm and trauma), and the caretaker (the character designated the helping/healing/comforting the whumpee).
Basically, it's putting a character in a situation where they're hurt or sick to force them to be vulnerable and rely on others. It's a nice way to break down and explore a character in a realistic, relatable way.

do you have any konoha sick hcs?
Yes, of course I have headcanons for the best brown owl boi. Enjoy!
Konoha gets sick pretty often, but most of the time, it's only a cold or minor illness. But when his illness is bad, it's very bad. Konoha has been hospitalized multiple times because a seemingly mundane illness (flu, stomach virus, etc.) escalated dramatically.
Konoha runs relatively high fevers, and the fevers are often accompanied by vertigo and headaches. Konoha gets a mix of stomach and respiratory ailments, but the ones that tend to get bad for him are the respiratory ailments. Those are the illnesses that lead to bad stuff like pneumonia and septic shock.
Fukurodani knows about some of Konoha's medical history, so they try to help him out when they can. Bokuto and the coach try to send Konoha home whenever they notice he's sick, but Konoha has started hiding his illnesses in retaliation because he hates missing practice. This leads to things like Konoha passing out or getting hurt from fever and exhaustion.
Akaashi and the managers are the ones to help Konoha when this happens. They keep Konoha calm and comfortable with cold compresses and makeshift blankets until help arrives (the coach is the one to determine if that's Konoha's parents or an ambulance).
The worst illness Fukurodani has seen Konoha have was bacterial pneumonia in the middle of his first year. The pneumonia developed from a lingering cough Konoha had after contracting the flu earlier that month. (Konoha fainted during a practice match with Nekoma, so Kuroo, Kai, and Yaku saw what happened too.) The coach and the managers rush over to Konoha and check him over. Konoha has a terrible fever, but the most worrying thing about his condition is that Konoha's barely breathing. The coach immediately calls an ambulance, and Konoha is taken to the hospital as soon as the paramedics arrive.
The team isn't allowed to see Konoha until three days after he was admitted because that's how long it took to get the pneumonia under control. Konoha remains hospitalized for another week because the doctors are worried about lasting damage to his lungs. The damage is relatively minor, but Konoha still has trouble shaking coughs and respiratory infections throughout high school.

suna sick/allergy hcs?
Sure. Here ya go.
Suna gets sick more than he probably should because he doesn't take care of himself. His eating habits are very sporadic. He either doesn't eat, or he consumes everything in his fridge in two hours. Osamu tries to help by bringing food for Suna everyday, but Osamu usually ends up eating it before it gets to Suna because Osamu got hungry waiting for lunch.
Kita is the only one who can get Suna on a regular eating schedule. Kita does this by always having extra food on hand at school and reminding Suna to eat constantly. Suna obeys because he's too scared of Kita not too. Suna even eats normally on weekends because while he's not sure how, he knows Kita will know if Suna doesn't listen to Kita.
Suna gets a mix of respiratory and stomach illnesses. He gets respiratory illnesses more in autumn and winter and stomach illnesses more in spring and summer. Suna's fevers are midrange and don't normally come with any side effects. However, extremely high fevers can give Suna awful migraines and nausea if they aren't lowered fast enough.
Suna is allergic to pollen and strawberries. His pollen allergy is pretty minor. He only takes allergy medicine during the spring to alleviate it because he doesn't have trouble in any other seasons. Suna's allergy to strawberries is much more severe. Eating strawberries gives him hives, rashes, and a fever, so he carries an EpiPen in his bag just in case. Suna has never gone into anaphylactic shock because of strawberries, but his doctor warned him that it could happen in the future, so Suna stays far away from strawberry products (even artificially flavored ones).

Have any sick HCs for the managers? (Yachi, Kiyoko, Shirofuku, Suzumeda, etc.)
I'm not as into femwhump, but I've got a few hcs around here somewhere...
Yachi takes good care of herself, so she doesn't get sick often. She only gets sick when she's extremely stressed (exams, big games, etc.). Yachi gets mostly fevers and headaches and rarely vomits. She hasn't thrown up since elementary school, so she has a kind of streak going. Since her mother isn't really around much, Yachi learned to take care of herself when sick. This experience makes her a very good caretaker, despite her meek nature.
Kiyoko also doesn't really get sick. Instead, she gets semi-frequent migraines. She carefully manages her migraines with medication and rest, so it's not really a big deal to her anymore. On the off chance that Kiyoko does get sick, she tends to get colds and other respiratory infections. Kiyoko has only gotten sick once in high school. It was in her first year while managing the volleyball club. A flu bug was running rampant in the school and eventually took down the entire volleyball club, including Kiyoko.
Shirofuku gets sick a normal amount. She tends to get stomach ailments, but they never seem to affect her appetite. She's always hungry when she's sick. It doesn't matter how queazy or nauseous she is. Shirofuku will constantly want food, so whoever's taking care of her should always have lots of soup, crackers, rice, or other easily digestible foods on hand. If not, Shirofuku will eat whatever she comes across, no matter how much it might upset her stomach.
Suzumeda has a super good immune system. She can't explain why, but she never gets sick. Good immune systems seem to run in the family, though, because her parents never get sick either. In the extremely rare event that Suzumeda gets sick, she'll get a fever and become unusually clingy. She likes to cuddle when sick, so her caretaker should be prepared for that because she will pout very adorably until she gets her way. It's easier to just give in to her because almost no one can say no to her pouty face.

Do you have any allergy/health conditions headcanons for Fukurodani (plus their managers)? I liked the one you did for Shiratorizawa
Thank you very much! I do have some headcanons for the Best Owls™, so here you go.
Bokuto has pretty bad pollen allergies in the spring. He gets very sniffly and congested, which sucks for him because he loves being outside. Antihistamines make him very sleepy, so he tries to avoid taking them. Konoha and Akaashi get sick of his constant sneezing and coughing during morning practice and force Bokuto to take his medicine, so Bokuto is always a sleepy mess during school. The teachers know about Bokuto's allergies and medication, so they don't scold him too much, thankfully.
Washio has moderate to severe pet allergies, so he tries to avoid animals whenever possible. This leads to his teammates teasing him whenever he tries to avoid walking past dogs and cats, but it's only light teasing because they know about his allergies and understand why he tries to avoid animals.
Sarukui is allergic to bananas. He and the team find this ironic because "saru" means monkey, and monkeys love bananas. Sarukui gets hives and a fever if he eats bananas, but he's just glad that he doesn't go into anaphylactic shock. Sarukui still has an EpiPen, but it's more out of precaution than necessity.
Komi has terrible autumn hay fever. He's super sneezy, drippy, and just all-around gross. Komi hates autumn because of this, though he likes to watch the leaves change color for fun. Komi takes antihistamines to deal with his hay fever. The antihistamines don't make him sleepy, but they do make him a little loopy and spacey. He zones pretty often during autumn practices, so he's gotten a few balls to the face over the years (rip).
Konoha is allergic to gluten (Celiac disease). Since he's in Japan, he doesn't run into as much gluten as he could, but it's still fairly prevalent in the food around him, so he has to be careful about what he eats. Eating gluten makes poor Konoha super bloated, fatigued, and just downright uncomfortable. Eating lots of gluten can also give Konoha anemia, which can be incredibly terrible when combined with his other symptoms. Konoha has had an emergency alert bracelet since he was little, but he never wears it anymore because he thinks he doesn't need it anymore. He's also shy about his allergy, so only the third years, Akaashi, and the coach and managers know about his Celiac disease.
Akaashi doesn't have any major allergies. Instead, he's basically a little allergic to everything. Pollen, dust, pet dander, etc. He also has some food sensitivities to dairy and gluten, but he likes ice cream and bread too much to give them up, so he just suffers through the consequences after he eats them. Akaashi hasn't told the team about his sensitivities because they technically aren't allergies, so he doesn't think they're important enough to tell anyone about.
Onaga is allergic to dust and pet hair. Pet hair makes his skin very itchy and causes occasional breakouts. Dust makes him sneeze and cough (pretty standard), but it also causes his eyes to itch and burn. Onaga carries over-the-counter eyedrops with him just in case his eyes act up when he's not at home. His dust allergy makes it hard for him to help with clean-up in the gym storage rooms, so he's the team's designated floor sweeper (even though he hates sweeping with a passion, lol).

I'm not sure of you know Nicollas Romero, but I'm here to share my hc of him. Bc i am in love with that man sm
Despite all the seafood in Portuguese cuisine, he's deathly allergic to them if he consumed them. So when he came to Japan and became a member of the Adlers, the coach immediately told the team about his allergies and all of them carry three epipens each.
Two for Nico incase something triggers his allergy and the other one for the minor allergies in the team. They're also very vigilant of the foods near them, and would make sure that no one would have seafood when Nico is around.
Hinata is also deathly allergic to something, and they both bonded over that and their shared love for Brazil, Nico being from there and the time Hinata spent there. So when Hinata smelled seafood during a buffet for division 1 players, he made Nico sit at the farthest table with him while their teams grabbed them food to keep any allergens out. Hehehe
I know who Nichollas is. That man is something, isn't he? He's a very welcome addition to the Haikyuu cast.
I like this very much. His allergy would be super hard to avoid in Japan due to the large amount of seafood in dishes and kitchens, so he's probably had a reaction or two just because of cross-contamination in the kitchen. Every time the team goes somewhere, the coaches have to specially request that Nichollas's meal be prepared in a contaminant-free kitchen. This request can cause trouble at certain kitchens because the chefs see the request as an insult, insinuating that they don't keep their kitchens clean enough. Other places might get snippy or add a charge to the final bill, but they will prep Nichollas's meals in a different part of the kitchen far away from any seafood.
Nichollas hates going out with the team because he gets extremely embarrassed that prepping his meals causes so much trouble. He confides in Hinata about his embarrassment, and they bond over food allergy struggles. Hinata and Nichollas are very protective of each other because they both have food allergies. Hinata refuses to let Nichollas anywhere near fish, and Nichollas will physically remove any dishes that contain Hinata's allergen. Their interactions are super cute, and all the division 1 teams enjoy watching Hinata and Nichollas examine each others' food at team banquets, even if they both know the food at the banquet is allergen-free.

Can you post more of your Semi HCs? I love the stuff you’ve written for him so far.
Totally. Hey ya go!
Semi is a quiet sickie. He's in denial when he first starts showing symptoms, and he still won't say anything even after he's come to terms with being sick. He hates burdening others, especially his team and family.
This attitude has come back to bite him so many times, though. Semi is infamous for passing out at family gatherings from hiding his illnesses, and it's now an inside joke amongst his family because it's happened so many times. Semi doesn't think it's funny and gets mad whenever his family brings it up because he's not that bad, right? (He is.)
Semi has also been taken to the emergency room straight from volleyball practice a few times. The first time was in elementary school. He had the flu and didn't tell anyone, so he ended up passed out on the gym floor halfway through practice.
The most recent incident for Semi was at the end of his second year of high school. He'd had a cold all week, but since he refused to rest and relax, the cold developed into viral pneumonia. He's had trouble breathing throughout practice but doesn't tell anyone (as per usual). Then Washijou made them do flying falls around the court. Semi goes to do his first one and just... doesn't get back up. No one notices at first until Shirabu quietly asks why his upperclassman is still on his first flying fall. Everyone stops to look at poor Semi, and then it's pure chaos.
Tendou is actually responsible for once and calls an ambulance while the coaches try to assess Semi's condition. They don't know much beyond an extremely high fever and breathing difficulties, but those symptoms and passing out alone warrant a hospital visit, so Semi is sent off in the ambulance as soon as it arrives. The team comes to visit him the next day, and it turns out that Semi's fever had spiked to 104.9 °F (40.5 °C) last night, so he's super out of it on pain killers and fever reducers. Tendou records video of drugged-up Semi to be used as blackmail at a later point (and to serve as proof that Semi is NOT to be responsible for his own health anytime soon).
Semi spends a week in the hospital before he recovers enough to be discharged. Even after that, Semi's still very weak. His lungs are a wreck from pneumonia, so he's not allowed to participate in practice until his lungs recover enough for him to play. Shirabu covers for Semi while he's recovering (setting the stage for Shirabu to take Semi's position in the coming year...).

do you have any hcs for shirabu? i love his character so much 🧎🧎
I like him, but I'm more of a Semi fan myself. Don't worry, though. I still have headcanons for Shirabubu.
Shirabu is a whiny sickie, but that's only after he's caught being sick at practice or at school. Once everyone knows, he sees no point in pretending anymore and goes full-on princess mode. He's sick, so everyone is going to wait on him and listen to him complain, dammit!
Shirabu tries to take care of himself, but he can never get enough sleep because he's busy with his studies. The lack of sleep will eventually lead to him getting sick, but he only gets sick a few times a year, despite this. Shirabu spikes midrange fevers, and his worst symptoms are dizziness and coughing. He gets headaches too, so he has lots of acetaminophen and Excedrin stored in his bathroom and dorm room.
Semi and Jin are Shirabu's primary caretakers when sick, but Taichi helps out too since he's Shirabu's roommate. Without fail, these three get sick after taking care of Shirabu no matter what precautions they take. They've tried everything, but nothing seems to work. Masks? Nope. Extra sleep? Nope. Vitamin C pills? Nope. It's infuriating, and the Semi and Jin have threatened to stop taking care of Shirabu multiple times (Taichi has no say since he and Shirabu live together), but they've never gone through with it. They've helped Shirabu every time he's been sick while on campus. The rest of the team thinks it's super sweet, but they know better than to actually say that to Semi, Shirabu, or Taichi (Jin is chill, so they can talk with him).

okok now imagine, if you will, Yaku who’s been feeling bad for a while. He knows it’s only a matter of time before he pukes, but he’s a stubborn little bastard so he continues to practice. At some point he overworks himself to the point where he’s hiccuping sickly(the only time he ever hiccups) and trying to calm his stomach. But it doesn’t work so he’s clasping a tight hand over his mouth as he races to the locker room to get to the bathroom in there. But it’s too much and he pukes. So now he’s cupping his sick against his mouth as he throws up more, leaving a trail behind him in the locker room
Absolutely. Now Yaku has to drag himself to the bathroom and ignore the vomit trail he leaves behind him. Once he gets to a toilet, he hunches over it and vomits harshly. He keeps getting sick again and again even after his stomach is completely empty. Yaku is drained and hugs the toilet weakly to keep himself upright. Frustrated tears slip down his cheeks once Yaku realizes that he's stuck in the bathroom until someone finds him.
Lev stumbles across the vomit trail in the locker room and yells for help. Kuroo and Kai show up and send Lev out of the locker room and cautiously enter the bathroom. Imagine their surprise when they see "demon senpai" Yaku sobbing and vomiting into the toilet. Kai grabs paper towels and wipes Yaku's face clean while Kuroo swaddles the libero in his club jacket. Once Yaku is done getting sick, the duo gently settles Yaku on Kuroo's back. The captain carries Yaku to the infirmary, where Yaku rests until his parents come to get him.
Lev sees them leave and follows them, concerned for Yaku, who looks absolutely atrocious. Lev, Kai, and Kuroo care for Yaku while he's in the infirmary. Yaku's fever spikes, so they have to rewet the cold compress pretty frequently to keep his fever down. Yaku's parents are at work and can't get him until later, so the trio watches over Yaku for another hour and a half until the libero's parents show up. Yaku's half-delirious when he leaves, but he still manages to thank Lev, Kai, and Kuroo before his parents drive away.

Uhm... we know Hinata is energetic right? What do you think of Hinata with Bipolar?
And the surprise in everyone's face when he suddenly shows up to school in his low moments and the only one that understood what was going on was Tsukishima and Yamaguchi bc they have seen it happen with Akiteru?
I think the weather and time of day also have a big impact on Hinata's mood (I'm not exactly sure how BPD works, so if this is wrong, I'm sorry). Hinata has his highs in the daytime and during good weather. That's why he's always so hyper during morning practice. Hinata has his lows mostly at night and during storms. Hinata usually hits his lows after he gets home from practice, but problems arise during overnight training camps. Hinata can't leave, so his team gets their first glimpses into Hinata's lows at their first overnight trip together.
As you stated, only Tsukki and Yamaguchi know what's going on, so everyone else panics, making Hinata's low worse. Tsukki notices this and tells everyone to shut up while Yams takes care of Hinata. Tsukki gives Hinata his medication, and Hinata improves after that. The next day, though, Hinata has to explain his BPD and gets super uncomfortable. Tsukki and Yams support him, and Hinata finally explains his disorder to the team. Everyone is very supportive of Hinata. They were just worried when they saw how different his behavior was during a low, but now that they know what was happening, they only want to help and support Hinata.

any kenma sickfic hcs?
Hmm... I've been asked about him a lot lately, so I only have a few, but I'll give you what HCs I still haven't posted about.
Kenma is a very chill sickie. Once all the chaos of discover he's sick passes, Kenma is content to curl up under his blankets and sleep until he's better. This unnerves most of his caretakers because Kenma stays almost completely still the entire time (he almost looks dead, lol).
Kenma basically doesn't eat while he's sick. He's already a light eater, but illnesses takes away any appetite he has. Once he's better, though, he will eat a ton to make up for not eating. Everyone is always surprised to see Kenma eat three times the amount he normally eats, but they're just glad that he's eating again.
Kenma doesn't really run fevers (like me, lol). His regular temperature is pretty low (97 °F or 36.1 °C), so a fever for him is within the regular temperature range for other people. This leads to people assuming Kenma's not sick because his temperature "isn't high enough to be a fever." Kenma has gotten sick or nearly passed out in school a few times because of this assumption, but he hates trying to explain things to other people, so he just lets things run their course and freaks out the people around him (he considers it his revenge of sorts).

Uhm.. what do you think of Semi with a weak heart?
You see, i have a weaker heart than the rest in a way that I can't deal with anything too scary or too much adrenaline or else I get too much palpitations.
I lowkey hc that the reason why they removed him as a starter once Shirabu joined the team is bc they didn't want anything to happen to him too much, but didn't want to obstruct his wish to play.
Love this. I like this HC because it gives Coach Washijou a real reason to pull Semi from the starting line-up in his final year without seeming like a complete jerk. Semi having a weak heart also leads to him putting lots of effort into taking care of his teammates since he feels useless on the court. Shirabu's blatant disrespect of Semi's advice only makes Semi feel worse, and he ends up crying in his room for the first few days of his third year. Crying and getting upset gives Semi heart palpitations, which freak him out, so his roommate Hayato drags him to the nurse's office to get help. Semi tells Hayato everything, and Hayato relays the information to Tendou and Ushijima. Tendou comforts Semi while Ushijima lectures Shirabu, and things eventually improve. Semi settles into his role as a pinch server, and he and Shirabu become good friends even if they don't always get along perfectly.

hi it's koganegawa anon. one of my friends when i was a kid had hemophilia (+ i just googled the hell out of it to make sure i had my facts right) and i like the idea for kogane :) if he's got a port i can see him trying to hide it at practices and training camps, if he gets invited to a training camp that's longer than like a week he has to choose between either a. not going or b. bringing all his factor infusion supplies with him and doing his infusions after everyone’s gone to bed so no one sees, he gives me this vibe that he’d be like “i need to Prove i’m worthy of being a starting player, if i show any kind of weakness ever they’ll kick me off” so he doesn’t tell anyone about it (jokes on him, futakuchi knows because he’s captain and has access to the whole team’s medical records)
he gets a nosebleed at practice one day so he sits out for a while, but it doesn’t stop bleeding and his teammates get concerned and it becomes a problem once he’s gone through half a box of tissues and he’s starting to get dizzy, eventually futakuchi shoves his way through and drags kogane’s ass to the infirmary
oh what if he's got a teammate who faints when they see blood? forbidden love? (/j my kogagoshi heart could never)
sorry this is so long, i took the idea and ran with it hgfgf
Hahaha. I love this, and thanks for doing so much research. It makes it easier on my end if I have a general idea of what the condition is and how to treat it before I put it in a fic. I really like all of this, so I'll go update my SHC list right now. (Also, Goshiki in the SHC universe now faints at the sight of blood because I love your idea (and him))

I feel like Hinata, yams, Asahi, Lev, Shibayama, Goshiki, and Noya are sympathy pukers as well. The thing where if someone pukes, they tend to as well. Leads to some very un-fun scenarios
Yup. I have a post about this somewhere if you can find it, and I think at least half of these characters made it into that post.
The absolute worst scenario is when a lot of these characters are together (for a training camp, game, etc.), and someone gets sick. Then it's just a domino effect with everyone getting sick one after the other.
I think the most likely scenario for this is a training camp between Karasuno and Nekoma. Everything is fine until someone (Kageyama or Yaku, probably) who's been hiding their illness suddenly gets sick in the middle of the court. Everyone in the gym can see and hear what's happening, and it sets off at least one (maybe more) sympathy pukers. I think Hinata and Lev would get sick first, followed by Shibayama, Yamaguchi, and Asahi. Nishinoya isn't as prone to sympathy puking as the others, but seeing so many people vomiting sets him off hard, and now he's vomiting too.
Everything is chaos. The coaches are yelling. The captains and vice-captains are fussing over the pukers and rounding up the rest of their teams. Eventually, the original sick person stops puking, and things start to calm down a little. The pukers are sent to the infirmary to clean up and rest while the coaches call the poor janitors to deal with the mess. The gym is a mess and smells horrible for days afterward.
Goshiki runs into some puking trouble because of Tendou. Despite not eating much, Tendou loves hosting cake/chocolate eating contests. He forces everyone to at least spectate if they're not participating. So that's how Goshiki ends up watching Taichi and Hayato vomit after eating a whole chocolate cake each. Goshiki takes one look at the brown vomit in front of his friends, and then he's bent over vomiting onto the floor too. Everyone panics because they think he's actually sick (like with a fever and stuff), but Semi and Tendou soon figure out what the real problem is. They drag Goshiki away from Taichi and Hayato, getting puked on in the process, and Goshiki rapidly improves. Poor Goshiki apologies to his upperclassmen for weeks afterward for getting puke on them. Semi and Tendou laugh it off and confide that it's not the first time a teammate has vomited on them. Ushijima has a stomach virus in their first year, and he vomited all over Semi and Tendou when they tried to take him to the nurse's office. Goshiki feels a lot better after learning that even his seemingly perfect upperclassman can get sick on people too.
