I was at a cafe. Waiting for my coffee when I heard the bell on the door ring. I looked to see a not very hygienic man. I looked at him seeing his life span I looked shocked. I tried to keep my visual shock to a minimum. But that was no use because he walked right towards me. He sat down, not in a very normal position may I say. What is with this dude? “Could I ask you a few questions?” “Uh sure ask away.” “I’m working on the Kira case and would like to hear what you have. Because I’ve come to realize you know our main suspect for this case, Light yagami.” “Oh him? He’s just the top student at his university. I don’t know much about him. But his ‘girlfriend’ makes me a little suspicious..” “may I ask who this ‘girlfriend’ is?” “Misa amane. That famous model? Yeah I was shocked to see her with such an ordinary guy like Light.” “Hmm. Maybe he manipulated her.” “That’s bold I just said I was shocked.” “You have to make bold accusations if you want to get to the conclusion faster.” “Makes sense. So did you just come here to question random patrons or should I buy you something?” “That would be very admirable.” “Yao what do you want? Coffee? Dessert?” “Strawberry cake.” “Huh ok. I actually have a question for you.” “Yes?” “So I know there’s 2 Kira’s but like.. how mind boggling would it be if there were three?” It was very risky to ask this question. Because I’m the ‘hypothetical’ 3rd Kira. “Now that you mention it.. I don’t know.. it would make our jobs much harder.” He looks at me. “Why do you ask?” “Because 2 Kira’s are already enough of a handful. I was just wondering what your like under pressure.” “I can assure you I’m fine.” The waitress comes back with my latte and I ask for a strawberry shortcake. She leaves to get it. I take a sip of my latte. Trying not to look at Raion. The shinigami that follows me. I don’t want to cause any suspicion. I just look at L as he rambled on. “Do you even know what my name is?” “Yes I do. It’s (you). I look into these things before just going out and asking questions.” “Ah.” The waitress comes back with the strawberry shortcake. I slide it over to L. “If this is expensive you owe me dinner.” He looks at me shocked. “Let’s hope it isn’t.” I chuckle at his bluntness. after an hour of chatting with the man I pay and leave. I get home and slump in my chair. “That was stressful! Right Raion?” “A little bit. But I knew you had it under control.” “Awe thanks!” I turn to face my desk and take out my death note. “Should I write his name? Just to Y’know.. get him out of the way?” “I think it would be best to stay patient (you)” “ok ok” I move to my bed and practically go limp. “Wake me up when lights dead so I can be the better Kira.” “I don’t think you can sleep that long.” “I knowww!” I groan and get under the covers. I start to fall asleep.

Reader POV

I walk up to the temple and knock on the door. Steven answers. “Oh hi (you)! Here for amethyst?” “Yep. How’d you know?” “Oh I don’t know probably because y’all are inseparable!” We spoke for a bit before I came in looking for amethyst. She was on the couch not really doing anything. “You ok amethyst?” “Oh (you) you’re finally here! I was getting so bored.” “I’m sorry hehe. I was with my (parent/guardian)” “so wanna go look around town for something to do? Maybe break one of the games at Funland?” “You know I do!” We run out of the house and head to Funland. Once we get there mr. Smiley sees us and gives us a glare. We slow down a bit and have a mischievous smile on our faces.

after a few hours of practically destroying Funland we get kicked out and head onto the hill behind the temple. “That was fun!” “It really was! Mr. Smileys face was priceless!” We laughed as we finally got to the top to see the amazing view of the beach. “Every time I come up here I think the sights get better” “probably. I can’t stay long. I don’t want to hear pearls nagging.” “Well maybe for just a minute?” “Well duh!” We look at the view for a bit. My mind races with the thought of us being such good friends. But I didn’t want it to stay this way. I want us to something more. She was amazing! Funny and beautiful in her own way. I admired it. “Hey amethyst?” “Yeah (you)?” “I’ve been thinking for a month.. and I have come to the conclusion that I.. I like you amethyst. You’re funny and you’re fun to hang out with. hello I’m sorry but I think I might quite the peridot series. I don’t know it’s not set in stone yet but I’m not finding the motivation I need to write it. yay!! I’m posting again and it hasn’t been a month!

we got back and tried to go back to sleep. “Ugh..” I exited my room only to smell breakfast? “I couldn’t go back to sleep either. the car comes to a halt and my eyes jolt open. “WERE HEEERRREE!!” Said my very awake friend, Bullet.. he’s been awake on monsters since we got out of Alabama. The appliances came with the house on both floors!! Sinks, washers, dryers, dishwashers and a big doggie door!! ‘Will be perfect for king he’s fucking huge. Why did we decide to get a Great Pyrenees again?’ by the end of the day we were surprisingly done! We laid on our beds on our sides of the room and immediately crashed. the next day we wake up to king scratching at the door like a zombie. “I’m comin’ ya big goof.” Bullet said with his groggy Italian accent. I giggled because he sounds so silly. I got up and went to the bathroom to splash water on my face to wake me up. Putting on a snazzy sweater and some jeans I go to the kitchen and bullet is already making breakfast! “Your hair looks like an aliens trying to abduct it lol” I said with a still pretty sleepy tone. “What do ya mean?” He looked at the camera on his phone and said “oh my god I look like I’m in the 80’s jeezus.” We laughed it off as he fixed his hair and finished making breakfast. He knocked on the door and yelled “STEVEENNNNN ARE YOU HOOOMEE??” Then a boy with poofy curly hair like bullet answered the door. “Hair buddy!!” “Hiya steven so I just wanted you to meet my friend y/n!!” “Oh hi! It’s nice to meet you come in!” He was as cheerful as bullet which surprised me. ‘In my 4 years of knowing this man I’ve never seen anyone as cheerful as him until now.. wow’ and then I see weirdly colored people come into the house through this crystal portal thing? “Omg these are the crystal gems!!” He then goes on to tell me all of their names.. but only one catches my full attention.. “and this is peridot. She’s mostly sweet but a bit of a gremlin..” “HEY!! I AM NOT A GREMLIN!!” “My proof.” “Oh.. SHUT UP YOU CLOD!” ”Hi I’m y/n it’s nice to meet you all!” “It’s nice to meet you too.” Garnet said with a bit of a serious tone. Bullet saw me and said “you ok? To many people? You’ve got that look on your face that usually means you’re feeling a strong emotion” he led me outside to talk about it. “I’m fine it’s just that the last one.. peridot she is..” “different, short, loud, kinda annoying?” “I guess but she’s also kinda cute-“ “AYO- SUS? Sorry but uhm that’s actually really funny. Y’all could be the shortest couple known!” “Hey it’s not my fault you’re 6’2!!” “Ok true buuut you are only (I’m sorry to do this but-) 5’3” “I- eh- UGGGH” I stomp back in there. Him walking in with me wheezing. “What happened” steven said with a concerned voice. “Y/n is mad because they’re short lmao” “well that’s nothing to be to ashamed about..” peridot said with a smile. You put you last box in your two story apartment. Now time to unpack.. crap. You put your headphones on and turned on ‘fallen kingdom’ by CaptainSparklez (I really hope people still like this song :,]) you got started putting everything in its proper place like bookshelves and beds, your couch and tv, your dining table and its chairs. And then on to decoration. You hung up fairy lights in your living room and bedrooms. You hung up pictures of you and your friends when y’all were kids. You put a blanket over the couch for extra comfort, draping a table cloth over the dining room table. Putting your breadbox right next to the stove top. Putting the coffee table in its place because you didn’t have time to put that there but now you do. You got onto your bed and set the fairy lights on. Laying on your bed with your (animal of choice except for snake because they’ll just stare at you). You fall asleep.
