In my vast experience with all-nighters I've learned that they come in many different styles. There's the productive ones where you schedule everything out, accomplish all set goals, and then for some f cking reason go to the gym at the crack ass of dawn. These are the model all-nighters that all others strive to match, because they actually have purpose and productivity. Then there's the accidental all-nighters which have neither purpose nor productivity. You can't sleep, you lose track of time and BAM its 4 am and naturally you think to yourself, why sleep now? So you take a shower at 4 am and go watch the sunset while your hair dries. The last all-nighters are the little shits because they're the b*tches who screw you over. Usually, they have purpose but fail when it comes to productivity. You're not actually staying up to get things done, you're staying up to have a mental breakdown and self-sabotage. You're staying up to do item A but you never get to item A and instead work your way through the whole alphabet before even trying to start item A.

So why am I ranting about this? Well besides having pulled all three in the last month I'm ranting about all-nighters for the reason I rant about anything. Icemav. I just keep wondering what kind of all-nighters each would pull and why. Like you'd think Iceman would pull productive ones all the time, but maybe he's prone to the mental breakdown level ones as well. And I feel like Mav just pulls all-nighters for shits and giggles, but he's for sure been on the self-sabotage train too.

In conclusion I pull all-nighters for various reasons, my mental health is outta wack, but it's okay as long as I have icmav.
