Simply gorgeous. ❤️ This is my latest mini willow gem tree- Red Garnet, Purple-Green Fluorite, with a hint of Black Spinel. The Fluorites on top transition into the deep red Garnets throughout the body, and the Spinel captures the darkness of the tree with a shimmer. I used a rare bronze wire for contrast. My newest commissioned gem tree! It stands at 13” tall x 12” wide x 13” deep, with 84 branches and 510 gems total! It was amazing to put this tree together. It was flopping all over the heavy pyrite rock base... until I maneuvered 2 of the correct roots and fluffed out 1 set of branches. Then, TA-DA! I finally captured a great photo of my newest gem tree! You can see the contrast of colors on the branches- the pink Tourmalines & Quartz, along with the smoky Quartzes & a pop of Purple Amethyst! It’s definitely even more stunning in person than the photo! A note on my gem trees- they are all 100% handmade and wire wrapped. I do not ever use pre bought/manufactured forms, unlike most you see on the marketplace! You’ll know if it’s a manufactured form if every tree is the same in terms of shape & design. It’s no art to stick a gem on a branch and pretend you made it all yourself! Introducing my latest gem tree- Peridot! The final count is: 225 feet of copper wire, 54 branches, 288 Peridot gems (45 inch strand), a day’s worth of work = a 13.5 foot tree in diameter! I had wanted to do a large Peridot tree on this rock forever, and got the idea yesterday to combine a willow with a bonsai form, tho it ended up a mix of the two plus a large tree form. It worked amazingly well! I got a new full gem tree finished last night! It’s so hard to see the details, but it’s super curvy and the branches love sticking out at all directions! Gemstones used- Pink Rhodonite & Purple Sugilite (with a rogue Tigers Eye for fun!), mounted on a half geode! The tree picked the rock base, and the overall piece is so interesting! I love the sharp branches followed by the circular softness of the rock base. I just finished this beautiful new willow gem tree! 🥰 The days of doing simple trees seem to be over- I’d rather the challenge of mixing colors and crystal energies together into trees that absolutely glow from branch tip to rock base! This sweeping willow tree features Labradorite tips, and a mix of natural Amazonite & peachy Sunstone branches, and a shimmery Fuchsite with green & orange hues. I almost went with white quartz, but this rock base felt so much better. The shimmer really makes the raw branches pop! I’ll be working on getting it listed in my Etsy shop tonight!
