what is the lore behind the 911 show... I've never watched it but I rate your recommendations... are those two guys a couple or like a potential couple? I'm so confused because after you posted them I watched a few fan-videos but still can't decipher if its worth watching... give me your opinions

which 2 guys, the ones that kissed or the ones that didnt lol

the ones who did kiss (buck and tommy) are dating. the ones who didnt (buck and eddie or buddie, as they're known) are not/have not but there is potential (in my mind at least lol). important to note though that buck has very recently come out as bi, and eddie has only been with women up to this point. i dont want to mislead you going in

it is, imo, 10000% worth watching. there is a ton of rep in the show (including a lesbian couple where one of them is a firefighter on the main crew, her name is hen), peter krause, ANGELA BASSETT, and jennifer love hewitt, among a ton of other very talented people (including kenneth choi, less well know but just as incredible). fandom tends to lean very heavily into the buck and eddie of it all (im guilty of this too) but all the characters are amazing with really fleshed out backstories and basically they're just all people you want to root for. added bonus is the calls they go on are always new and fun and interesting and yeah, just watch it :)

hi liv - me again who asked about vpns - it's okay, thank you anyway! I'm trying to watch season 2 of Sullivan's Crossing - it airs in Canada. S1 is on the CW now, and I guess sometime after the full season airs on Canada it will air here in the US on the CW. I binged s1 on the CW but didn't find out after that it originally airs in Canada first, lol.

im so sorry im just now getting to this- i havent had access to the internet for the past couple of days but now im back :)

i didnt even know that show existed! but i just looked it up and now i think someone on here mentioned it to me before bc i vaguely remember knowing there was a show with lucas scott and luke danes lol were you able to watch s2? i hope so! <3

so sorry, I thought i responded to this and just saw I didnt!!

and i know, he looks so happy in all these recent interviews! I'm sure its a huge relief for him to be able to talk about it and he always speaks about buck's journey so beautifully and eloquently. we're lucky to have him :)

Tim Minear is very collaborative, and this was definitely a story that was pitched to me rather than shoved upon me. He called me earlier in the season and said, “I have this idea for Buck, what do you think?” And honestly, it was immediate for me. “Yes, absolutely, I love it.” It felt like the correct step.

i didnt realize 911 has more viewers that greys, in that case please let them get together in the mid season finale of season 10!! i have waited 10 years for a ship before so i can do it again!!!!

it does, and by a lot! im pretty sure its one of the highest rated tv shows in all of network tv, not just ABC. which, considering they're 7 seasons in, is pretty incredible.

whats your 10 year ship? my longest, and without a doubt it will never be topped by literally anyone- is jason and elizabeth on general hospital. those two met for the first time in 1998. they have a child together (from a one night stand) but have NEVER actually gotten a real chance at a relationship. hes left the show a bunch in that time but that ship is so popular even though they've never actually been publicly together (they had a secret relationship for a few months)... IN 26 YEARS. nothing's beating that lmao soap operas ftw!

Would you consider making a gif parallel between the two iconic Eddie double takes? The first after the lightning strike and the second when Buck comes out to him. In the matter of a second Eddie goes from muscle memory, the every day work or social situation, to all of his attention being on Buck. Buck. Buck who needs him. Needs him because he's dead. Needs him because he's just told him one of the only truths he's ever kept from Eddie. Hanging from a line. Putting everything out on the line.

This may be nothing. There might be other deserving examples of double takes I can't think of. Either way- I hope you have a lovely day! Your art is a wonderful thing.

opinion on the theory that buck is gonna move in with eddie and chris because he cannot afford his loft anymore?

it has legs, for sure. that was my first thought when tommy mentioned it too, tbh, bc it seemed like such an out of pocket thing to say. they wouldnt have him say that and then never mention it again. there was a reason.

and i think its been in the works for awhile if im honest. going back to "this is eddie's house, im not really a guest", i think that was foreshadowing and laying the groundwork for an eventual relationship. and all 3 of them (eddie, buck, chris) basically being each other's safe space, it makes a lot of sense for the physical space to also be the same one. :)

whats the ideal buddie timeline? cause i am oscillating between "oh gd just let them be a happy family already" and "please turn this into the worst /pos slowburn anyone has ever seen"

imo the stakes are too high to just have buddie happen. they both have too much to lose if this goes wrong so i kinda want tension, interrupted almost kisses, touches that linger a second too long for them to be just friendly, i want them to suffer (cause i have been there and it hurts but oh gd it is so much better after)

would it be too long to draw this out into 8b even?

i dont think thats too long, tbh. neither of them are there yet and if they do it now, it'll be too soon. no mind we're already in S7, buck JUST came out as bi and since its only a 10 episode season, they're already halfway through it.

theres so many ways they can take it, and i'd much rather they take their time and do it properly than try to rush through it. i have no doubt its gonna run for at least a few more seasons - its basically abc's highest watched scripted show, i believe - and im a huge fan of tension/yearning (if you've been following me long enough you know how much i LOVE a romance lol) so give me ALL of that.

i dont want them to get together right at the end of the show, but i think there's a lot more story to tell before they get there- and a wholeeeeee lot more story to tell once they finally do :)
