i really dont understand why the FGO koyanskya finale story is a time limited event? they gave limbo their own special non time limited story chapter after they'd basically only been in 1 chapter. koyanskya has been with us since the lostbelt prologue and has shown up and played a role in every single lostbelt story chapter since. and now apparently in a few days any new players who start the game after this december just wont get to play the end of her story? not to mention, why are you putting this on a time limit during the holidays when people are busy? wtf fgo team.

It's Christmas Eve, and it seems the festival has a special surprise lined up for those musically inclined tonight. Unova's beloved idols, Christoph and Nancy, are taking the stage down at the waterfront for a holiday concert!

The two performers lead the enthusiastic crowd through a setlist of Unovan Christmas classics such as It's Beginning To Look a Lot Like Christmas, Sleigh Ride, and Jingle Bells. Rock fans explode in cheers when Roxie and her band join the duo on stage for a slamming rendition of Jingle Bell Rock and Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree!

As things begin to simmer down, Christoph drops into a shockingly soulful rendition of All I Want For Christmas Is You and some fans swear he was looking at a stunned-looking Champion Rosa, who was spectating near the stage, the entire time.

The duo concludes their performance with an emotive I'll Be Home (for Christmas) before thanking the crowd for their incredibly warm reception. They plan to hang out by the waterfront for the rest of the night for an impromptu meet-and greet with fans.

I love how OLM wrote Allister in the Pokemon Anime because he’s introduced as Ooooo Spooky ghost kid he rides the Ghost Train he doesn’t speak or show his face he calls Ash and Goh Mortals implying he is not he vanished suddenly oooooO so scary But then the very next episode we spend a whole day with him and it becomes very quickly apparent he’s just 8 years old and likes scaring people.

i actually really loved this event? the whole whitewashing and glorifying of idol culture was meh, im really sick of that in so much anime, but i liked how they used it as a springboard to have some great character interactions. plus, the main theme about accepting the end of things ties in perfectly with one of fgo's main themes since part 1. Fitting to have Roman mentioned right at the very end. Miss Crane ended up reminding me a lot of Daiba Nana from revue starlight, with how she clung to the past instead of accepting progression. She somehow worked simultaneously as mentor, fangirl, ally, comic relief and enemy.

I also always love how FGO events can create little unusual groups and get you to care about them. Really enjoyed ex, medb, cat, mashu, guda and miss crane forming this sweet friend group. When the memories were erased it was actually a bit sad. The finale where everyone came together to have one last performance as the singularity ended was a perfect conclusion. We started with ex and crane and we ended with them. Good event.
