ok something I guess i should tackle first with summer dreams is the Big Issue with data reincarnation. it'll make other things easier later ig
so this is basically my explanation as to why a digimon like wizardmon (dies in the 01 myotismon arc) couldn't reincarnate, while a digimon like whamon (dies AFTER during the 01 dark masters arc) was able to reincarnate in time for 02
the short answer is that the digimon who died in the real world got trapped as force data ghosts due to an imbalance in the worlds, while all other deaths only had to wait for the re-balancing of primary village
the longer answer is that the real & digital worlds were unbalanced from the beginning. we know this lmao. defeating myotismon in 01 Did Not Fix That. the worlds were still unbalanced. Therefore, for the next 4 years, data ghosts of myotismon's forces would appear all over Odaiba, growing powerful every anniversary.
The 2 worlds are put into balance at the end of 02 when they stop the dark ocean from enroaching on their turf & calm the occurrences of digimon getting isekai'd & wreaking havoc on christmas. with the defeat of malomyotismon, this would finally allow all the trapped data to return to the digital world & turn into digitama
though they'll probably still have to take another year or so bc I like making them wait <3 (also bc I'd like to explore the existence of these ghosts while the humans are aware of digimon)

Watched all of Digimon Frontier!
46 - The Digital World, Destroyed!? Lucemon's Dark Reign -I love how they subtley show LordKnightmon's doubts with his questions. No body language or accusations. Just questions. -NEFERTIMON!! I always thought her design was cool as hell. Nice to see her show up. -More nice character moments in the library. I especially liked Tomoki and Junpei's. Then again they're my faves haha -Almost looks like the Royal Knights are actually on the ropes, or at least tied with the boys… then BIG DEMON LIGHT ATTACK AAAAAAAAH -Aaaaaand the big bad is awake. Ruh-roh!! -Angler saves the kids on the barest remains of a track haha. Also they've… built a track to the moon!! Because of course!! DIGIMON!!
47 - The Royal Knights Fall And Then…!! -Lucemon: Hey guys go to. the moon and. um. kill those kids. then i'll give you the key. promise. :3 teeheehee -BABIES BABIES YES!! I hate babies IRL but Digimon babies are JUST ARGH SO GOOD I'm gonna adopt them all -Patamon meets Lopmon and Plotmon TT_TT aaaaaaahahahaah -Dynasmon flying to the moon with LordKnightmon on his back was another great shot. -I'll admit I was surprised when the Royal Knights were actually beaten by the kids! …but unsurprised when Lucemon shows up to nom nom their data haha. -BRUH. I swear to god if I had seen this as a kid when it first aired I would've 100% wanted to smoochalooch Lucemon Falldown Mode. Like Myotismon/Vamdemon back in the day. Now watching it as an adult I'm just like "eww go die loser dork" lol -Paradise Lost is such a goofy attack I LOVE IT!! dude straight up DESTROYS THE MOON THOUGH. three episodes left how the hell they gonna beat this guy. maybe they don't. maybe I unwittingly am watching the one Digimon series where the good guys fail and die haha… ha?
48 - Light and Darkness Become One! Koichi's Last Wish -TT_TT -JESUS it wasn't enough destroying ONE moon but THE OTHER TWO get caught up in the disaster jeeeez -the kids survived on a little meteor!! -magma flying through space?! AND IT MAKES THE INVISIBLE INK APPEAR that was so funny why not just have it IN THE BOOK lol -OMG IT'S SHIBUYA oh turns out Lucemon just wanted a vacation to Japan that's fine then -YES SPIRIT EVOLUTION LET'S GOOOOOO! like sorry but I've missed the other kids using their Spirits so bad haha -The fight begins and the kids get wiped but… Koichi intervenes, protects them… and… -OH MY GOOOOOOD SUSANOOMON!!!!! I wondered earlier like when we first got Hyper Spirit Evolution if they were gonna join at some point AND THEY DID OH YEAH LET'S GO that bit was very good haha -very ballsy to actually like… kill off a main kid though
49 - Fight, Susanoomon - Lucemon Reaches the Human World -OH GOD IT'S THE PENULTIMATE EP!! -Hopefully Lucemon shows up and is just like "um. is this it?? uh. okay." and goes back lol -Susanoomon actually gets thrashed a bit, but isn't dumb enough to fall for Paradise Lost more than once!! It was satisfying seeing Lucemon punched in the face. -NANI. LUCEMON SAID NANI. Anime villains know they're screwed when they gotta break out the NANI?! -I love the touch of Junpei, Izumi and Tomoki shaking after Lucemon's defeat. They're happy and like "yay we won!" but still shook up and terrified. Nice detail. -Oh so even after the holy data is scanned the evil data remains and data can be evil so--OOH LORDY HE BIIIIG!! Junpei just shouting "THIS IS CRAZY!!" when the kids are so small in comparison was funny -Aww, we get the evolution sequences one by one for each kid. It's nice--it'll probably be the last time we see them. Sure it bulks up the run time but it's a cool little "farewell" too. -The rest of the ep is basically a long sequence of Lucemon then the kids returning to the human world and a little chase… then Lucemon unleashes Puragtorial Flame and HOLY CRAP. That sinister ending. Left on the "Obey me or die. Your choice" message in bright red on a black background. Imagine. Imagine like… that was just it. The End. Holy moly haha.
50 - Transcend Time! The Birth of a New Legend -Final episode!! -The kids mope since it seems like it's impossible to stop Lucemon. What can they do???!! Neemon suggests evolving to Susanoomon, but mircles don't happen like that… -EXCPET THE SPIRITS WERE THERE AND IT'S DIGIMON!! So miracles do happen like that!! haha should've listened to Neemon all along fellas -lol the scene where Lucemon erupts out the ground in Shibuya then gets immediately dragged down again… like, imagine the people seeing that. how can they explain that. like, it's not a full on kaiju attack. it's not a monster that appears and hangs around destroying stuff. there's probably little or no video evidence. it's just "rargh grahr!" then vanishes. like. how do you rationalise what you just saw there haha -also Susanoomon's anime model actually looks better than its 3D models and official art? I dunno it just feels a lot more sleek and elegant here. -SURPRISE!! You thought I was a giant demonic dragon monster from hell but I was secretly a disgusting grub in an beach ball!! -aaah the Spirits emerging from Susanoomon and slicing Lucemon up!! Loved it. -The Digital World IS SAVED OMG FINALLY. My blood pressure is plummeting as we speak… it's sad that it's another "you can never return" shtick though, aww. -OMG BOKOMON CHASING THE KIDS AND HE'S RUNNING OMG OMG OMG I HAVE TO INCLUDE IT:
Tumblr media
-Okay so they DIDN'T kill off Koichi but holy crap Koji's VA in that hospital scene dude… TT_TT -Everybody is home. They've defeated evil, learned about the value of their lives and how they can become better, happier people. YAY!!
Well, that's Digimon Frontier! My only expectations going in were "it sucks!!" and to be very frank hell no it does not lol. (again maybe it's the English dub which is more janky but y'know) The later episodes did drag a little (mainly the Royal Knights stuff, where the episodes became VERY formulaic) but the smaller moments were still really good (especially the babies and Swanmon!!) but yeah aside from that, the occasional weirdness with Izumi, and that we didn't get much time with Koichi during down time to explore his personality more, I have no complaints. (The later eps sometimes dragging isn't even unique to Frontier, I love Tamers but it has the same issue) No show is flawless so it's like whatever anyways. Definitely more a typical isekai fantasy kind of story than something specific to Digimon but they tried something different!
I'm sad it's over, but now I get to move onto other new Digimon stuff!! (I mean after the Frontier movie)
I mean maybe lol. I'll more likely take a break and watch either a shorter series or wait until I've seen the new movie before starting Digimon Savers. These damn Digi-kids giving me Digi-heart palpitations and Digi-stress... ugh

02 Arukenimon and Mummymon Headcanons
I was bored at the weekend and wrote these up. Figured I'd put them up here.
Let's get the usual one out of the way: They reconfigured fine and are out in the digital world. My personal preference is them coming back 1-2 years after 02; but, at the latest, the events of Tri 3-4 years later definitely brought them back anyway. (To the point that I'm not sure if this is even headcanons territory anymore; but I'll roll with it since they haven't appeared since.)
They didn't turn into eggs though. Oikawa programmed them as Ultimates, and that's all the data that the digital world had to work off of. So after trying to regress them and repeatedly calling up errors, the digital world basically gave up and dumped them, fully grown, into the digital world. Whatever location made the most sense at the time.
The kids know they're back, but they don't particularly mind. As long as the duo don't cause too much trouble; all is good.
They have no reason to be villains anymore, so they're basically off being chaotic-neutral together. Don't bother them and they probably won't bother you. (Unless you're Myotismon. In that case, you fully deserve whatever you have coming.)
They're usually in the digital world now. There's more for them to do there. On rare occasions; however, they go and have a look around the human world as well.
They got their old jeep back. Mummymon takes excellent care of it and cleans it everyday. He's very attached to his car. Arukenimon just likes not having to walk everywhere.
Mummymon got his pink apron back too. I don't care how. It's back dammit!
Mummymon talks to the Oikawa butterflies. At length, about anything. They're the boss after all. He needs to keep them updated. Plus the boss could be lonely! It must be hard to have rewarding conversations as butterflies. Oikawa can't respond but is happy.
Arukenimon is too cool to talk to the butterflies. Instead she takes their presence as a sign that she should be doing something. If there's a bunch of them together in one place; she will look for something nearby to get involved in. Chaos may or may not ensue. Oikawa, uh, usually appreciates the gesture.
Mummymon's trauma from watching Arukenimon die means that his recklessness increases 100% if he thinks she's in any possible danger. He'll put his life on the line to make sure he never has to see her like that again. Arukenimon doesn't like seeing the idiot get badly hurt, especially for stupid reasons; but her difficult personality means she can currently only get this across by yelling at him and calling him names afterwards.
Arukenimon tries to  offset her trauma partly by laughing at the incredibly embarrassing way Myotismon was finally taken down. She likes to imagine that the power of children's dreams took the form of fluffy kittens, plush toys, sweets, and rainbows that slowly beat him to death. If she ever finds him; she'll be sure to rub it in.
Arukenimon and Mummymon do eventually become a proper couple. It just takes Arukenimon another couple of years, and possibly a sharp shock to the system, to accept his feelings. Their dynamic doesn't change that much.
Arukenimon can't cook. The one time she did, everyone got food poisoning. Mummymon got it the worst since he ate everyone's portions so she wouldn't be upset. Oikawa banned her from the kitchen afterwards.
Mummymon's human form may look weird, but on the rare occasion that he's in Akihabara people just think he's a dude with amazing cosplay skills. He gets asked for advice and doesn't know how to respond.
Mummymon reads horoscopes (yeah, pretty obvious where I got that one from). Not just his own; everyone's. He'll read them loudly at breakfast if he can get away with it. He's most interested in the love horoscopes, mind. He knows which ones to check because he was desperately trying to figure it out one day and Oikawa told him to shut him up.
Arukenimon likes fine fabrics. Not just for drapes, for everything. She's a spider; she appreciates these things. She also loves Mummymon's cooking. She won't admit to that one though.
Mummymon is good with small children. He has strong papa energy. (Human children are included if they aren't scared of him.)
Arukenimon was created first. That's why Oikawa is showing her off proudly at Hiroki's grave. Mummymon's creation time was much shorter, since Oikawa had the process perfected by that point.
The human forms weren't planned. They were just a side-effect of Oikawa using human DNA as a template. The design of the human forms was also 100% up to chance. Oikawa considers it a useful bonus.
Bonus: I'm not saying that it definitely happened; but there is a strong possibility that Oikawa got drunk and dragged Mummymon to one of those karaoke places at least once. Lots of romantic ballads and Enka hits were heard from one of the rooms.

Meet my newest Crash Bandicoot OC.
Name: Judith Mouse
Species: Mutated Field Mouse
Gender: Female
Mutated by: Dr. Nefarious Tropy
Voiced by Luci Christian *Rico from Gunslinger Girl*
https://youtu.be/a4UiTQispiI?t=20
Judith is an orphaned Field Mouse child was one of the many Mutants mutated by Dr. N. Tropy that were locked up in one of the abandoned facilities of the Cortex Commandos as his failed attempt to have an army of them as they rejected him for as they refused to be evil, while some others came to work for Nitrus Brio and N. Gin *Something that happened one year before Crash Twinsanity events*, Crash, Coco, and Crunch had freed the many mutants that were against N. Tropy, and Judith was one of them, yet she was too quiet to be noticed and left on her own. She never had friends either.
One year later, after scavenging for food and trying to survive by herself, Judith was taken in by Crooncrool Crumb when she trespassed into his haunted mansion. However, due to the fact Mr. Crumb is very miserly, cruel, friendless, and never intended to have friends, he is very cruel towards her as she lived with him for 3 years.
One day, Crash Bandicoot and his friends, as well as the Cortex Commando Mutants entered Viscount Devil's Treasure Haunt competition to find the mysterious indigo colored crystal, in which secretly he wants for himself as it contains great power, it was the same crystal Mr. Crumb was also going after because he's greedy for treasures.
During the treasure hunt, Judith would befriend Brok the InvestiGator, from another dimension, whose lost memories of Crash and Spyro's dimensions have taken on a sprit form while also having his memories from his dimension intact that were copied over from his true self after he traveled back in time combined with a few other phenomenons, and then meeting Nozomi, Crash, and their friends, becoming her first friends.
She would later leave Mr. Crumb forever and help her new friends and the Cortex Commandos find that crystal before he and the Viscount do after learning it was all the latter's set up.
After Crash stops Mr. Crumb, Brok came in contact with the crystal, turning his spirit form into a physical form, yet he still isn't the true Brok himself, the crystal itself is then rendered powerless.
Judith was then taken to the Refuge Village for Mutants where Brok and Nozomi promised to take care of her, as she gets new clothes from Nozomi that she made herself while she acts as a sister figure towards her as Brok wants to make up for his past mistakes for not being there for Graff for family matters, so he acts as a father figure towards Judith, in which she wants to be a detective when she grows up, all while Brok hopes to see Graff again one day.
=
Judith is physically two years younger than Bumpy Woylie.
She really loves to eat cheese.
Occasionally, Vivi Otter would babysit her.
=
Judith was inspired by such child characters like 9 year old Rin on Inuyasha *For survival skills*, Eri from My Hero Academia *Having a similar rough past like being abused by their past guardians that are antagonists, but later live in facilities that offer them better lives*, Anne-Marie from All Dogs Go to Heaven, 7 year old Fievel Mousekewitz and 8 year old Tanya Mousekewitz on An American Tail *Design influences*, Olivia Flaversham from Disney's the Great Mouse Detective, and Penny from Disney's the Rescuers, thus how Nicole would have been in DIC's second Sonic the Hedgehog cartoon of the same name AKA SatAM's lost Third Season in her true form and after having her true form restored.
Judith's meeting with Mr. Crumb and her relationship with him was inspired by how Gatomon from the 1999 Continuity of Digimon Adventure met Myotismon as Salamon and how she suffered abuse and despair from those days because of him, only without corrupting the cutie moments.
She was even named after the late Judith Barsi, a child actress who did voice work for Don Bluth films like Ducky in The Land Before Time and Anne-Marie in All Dogs Go to Heaven, she had a rough life and at age 10 had hers and her mother's lives taken from them by her own monster of an abusive father, which happened three years before I was born.

Rough Timeline and notes Digi Au part 2: Paths meet
Warning! Long Read. 3:am thoughts dump
So we left off with Lucemon leaving his castle in child form to see what the humans are like. Piedmon had reported in that he found a neat one, and 'reserved' her for Lucemon to look over, if they happened to meet.
Right now I think it would be Poetic and Neat if Myotismon also encountered Kara, and approved of the polite little human, so he also gives her a charm or at the very least points her in the direction Lucemon most likely will go roaming, under the guise of showing her where a lot of humans and unpartnered digimon hang out. While he might not escort her himself, he is enough of a gentleman and invested in this idea that he has his bats look for another group that is headed towards the cities he has in mind, and heads off once he is sure she is properly on her way.
Unfortunately for Kara, the new group of partner humans and digimon are rather close knit, so she feels isolated and unwanted, and thats gotten only stronger by the time she ends up in the city Lucemon is in. They have probably referred to her as dead weight, despite the skills she does have that benefit the group, and have expressed relief to see her off when they reach the city. There seem to be a lot of spaces for traveling humans and digimon to rest, so Kara is able to get away from the group into a different shared space, and retreat to the library and other areas she can quietly do her cross stitch and other hobbies as she recovers from the trip and tries to gain her self confidence again. She likely runs into Lucemon a few times, and each time he is a bit more intrigued, but it isnt until a bad rain and hailstorm hits that they get talking, stuck in a small shelter until a gap in the intensity allows them to make a mad dash for Lucemons lodgings, which are much closer. Lucemon has it to himself, but there is another bed hes been ignoring, so Kara has a spot for the night. They bond a bit more over tea and the digimon books they've read, and several other interests, and after a week Lucemon regards this human as the best option he's seen yet, even before he spots Piedmon's gift, and the possible one from Myotismon as well.
He was a little bored with the idea of a puppet anyway, but Kara's sense of self worth and confidence were.. mending slowly, but even an easy mental check from Lucemon indicated it was badly injured. But he knew what Piedmon had seen, and clearly Myotismon saw something as well. So he asked a bit and found the group Kara came in with, and quickly noticed the bullying. His court had bullying too, but it tended to be a lot more subtle, so it was easy to see the problem. So he instead focuses on lifting Kara up again, more curious to see what her pride looked like when mended, and well... Kara's pride is the comfortable quiet self confidence in her abilities, and not the searing bright pride that his mark of sin embodied, but that was fine. Her pride was like a warm cup of soothing tea when listening to a storm outside, which happened to be a current fond memory for him, so this suited him just fine. So he invites Kara into his lodgings, to keep a better eye on her, while trying to figure out if she is the one h wants, and if so, can she be manipulated.
It isnt much longer before he decides its time to leave, as he doesnt like any of the other humans, and Kara is bored of the city life, so he pretends to excitedly offer they could head off together. Why not keep his best option by his side just in case, right? Theres prob a dozen stories of the pair traveling together between cities and small towns, helping others and having quiet conversations, but the next scene happens at an area where there are more bonded humans, and the expectation that ANY and ALL humans are expected to help, even if they have no partner, comes into play. Look forward to a part 3 showing the scene that causes Lucemon to finally choose Kara, and what makes him a bit more protective and clingy in regards to his human.

Anime Digimon Pairings Lightning Round
((At first, I was thinking about which anime should I cover next for this topic since I didn’t want to do JUST Pokemon and I’m sure a lot of people have their own lists about what pokemon teams anime characters would have. I was honestly thinking about doing maybe Yu-Gi-Oh!, Tekken, or My Hero Academia next but the more I thought about it, the more I realized that there are some parings that for one reason or another might make WAY too much sense so I figured might as well make it easier for me and just point out all of those pairings. Just a heads up, I haven’t fully caught up with some of the shows mentioned so take my ideas with a grain of salt, but tell me what you think.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
1. First, I want to talk about Jaden from Yu-Gi-Oh GX having Veemon as his Digimon. Jaden is kind of like Davis from Digimon, both of them being energetic, friendly, and the second anime protagonist of the series so I figured that would fit nice, though I can’t say the same for Yugi with Agumon and Yusei with Guilmon. I think Yugi would be better suited with ToyAgumon and Yusei with Hagurumon, but that’s for another time. I pitched it to a few of my friends and the more I thought about it, the more I realized that Veemon is actually the perfect Digimon for Jaden. As in, I can’t literally think of ANY other Digimon that would be a better fit for Jaden Yuki in any way. ALL of Veemon’s digivolutions completely suit him, Armor Digivolutions like Magnamon and Flamedramon, DNA Digivolving into the Paildramon line, even the regular Digivolution line into UltraforceVeedramon! Jaden would TOTALLY be able to discover all of them and maybe even more. Plus I would imagine their dymanic to be outright hilarious even though I don’t really watch GX. Most of my knowledge came from when I was playing Duel Links. This next idea literally popped up in my mind while I was at work because nothing was going on at the time. Just a heads up, this might be a bit...TOO on the nose but...
Tumblr media Tumblr media
2. Dabi from MHA with SkullMeramon. I mean...FUCKING LOOK!!! They got the blue flames and everything! It also helps that SkullMeramon is one of the few flame Digimon that are actually resistant to water and ice. Remind me who’s Dabi’s parents are again?!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
3. Next we have Jonathan Joestar and Angemon. Not only is Jonathan a classic manly gentleman, but I can’t be the only one who thinks that Hamon punch he gave to Dio was a bit like Angemon’s Fist of Fate. Hopefully Patamon can avoid getting boxed in the furnace out of pettiness. Speaking of Dio.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
4. Dio Brando and Myotismon. Like with Dabi and SkullMeramon, do I have to say anything here? Yeah it’s a literal vampire, but I honestly can’t think of any other Digimon that just screams DIO as much as Myotismon, though to be fair it has been a while since I’ve seen Digimon Anime.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
5. Izuku Midoriya and Pulsemon. I’ve seen this idea tossed around before, but I wasn’t too sure about it since it’s a Digimon I’m not all that familiar with, but after I looked up it and its Digivolutions...at all made sense. Apparently Pulsemon are cunning fighters and go through rigorous training the more they Digivolve depending on the line (which in this case is the main evolution). As a Digimon with similar characteristics to Midoriya even to the point where they don’t discriminate on how they treat others, Pulsemon would be a good motivator to make sure he stays in the game and they can be stronger together.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
6. All Might and Justimon. I know some fans are thinking that All Might should be with Gankoomon because of the student/mentor bond they have with Izuku and Hackmon, but even as someone who hasn’t fully caught up with the My Hero Anime, I would have to say Justimon would be a much better fit for All Might. Think about it. Justimon is a super hero Digimon that’s all about saving the day just for the sake of helping others and being an inspiration to younger Digimon. THAT. SCREAMS. ALL MIGHT!!! I can literally see the scenario where All Might retires being changed because he witnessed Justimon go out in a blaze of glory on his own while he was too weak to help out, resulting in Justimon’s reincarnation into a Digitama. It would be like Angemon’s first death all over again.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
7. Jotaro Kujo and BanchoLeomon. Do I really need to say anything here?

Day 4.5 (I guess?) of playing Digimon World:
Remember my Numemon from day 3? It faded away soon after starting day 4 (which I suppose means that it didn't meet the evolution requirements), so I let it die again.
Thanks to a guide, this time I ended up with a Bakemon! The requirements for its evolutions seemed crazy though (maybe I'll unlock some improvements for the gym eventually?), so I decided not to go for the next stage. Instead, I wanted to use my first decent adult to explore further and recruit some new Digimon for the city.
First of all, I wanted to finish my business in the starting area, so I defeated Kunemon and took my revenge on Drimogemon (I still don't know what I achieved with that).
I headed to unknown territory, going past Tropical Jungle. There, I found a mansion and had a ton of fun exploring it while I tried not to fight too much (I'm sure I wasn't intended to be there yet). I saved before engaging with Myotismon, only to find out that it wasn't a menace at all! It's just a dorky undead Digimon who didn't know when to stop working and passed out. And then it treated me to dinner only to cry about its problems while I stuffed my face. I loved this portrayal of Myotismon, funniest shit I've ever seen. It didn't seem like there was anything else to do there for now, so I left.
I recruited a Bakemon next to the mansion, but I still don't know what it does.
Next, I headed for Amida Forest, wanting to defeat the Tyrannomon that was in the next zone. It was a bit hard, but I had a lot of recovery items so I won. There's a place there where time moves slower, so that'll come in handy for some evolutions.
I went back to the Great Canyon and slowly made my way up. I found a shop managed by a very nice Monochromon and worked there for a while before resuming my journey. I reached the top, where I fought a Birdramon who ended up joining the city.
Yuramon told me about a group of bandits in the canyon, and I wanted to go back to Monochromon's shop anyway, so I made my way there and defeated the bandits on the way. I worked a few times, convinced that I could recruit Monochromon if I made enough money, but sadly, Bakemon ended up fading away before I managed to do that. I'll remember it fondly, since it helped me make all this progress.
All in all, I'm very happy with all the things I got done today! Turns out the game isn't all that hard once you understand how it works (and you use an evolution guide). I look forward to raising a new Digimon and keep exploring this crazy world.

Dark Ocean Arc, But Mine (a 02 fic)
Please… Kari thought to herself, as the Airdramon attacked her and the Scubamon she had found. Tai, Gatomon, T.K., Mom, Dad, Please… Anyone!
For just a moment, the lighthouse lived up to it’s name, shining out a bright light, before returning to it’s usual darkness.
Though, that short moment was enough to blind the red-eyed Airdramon. Seeing this, it gave Kari an idea. She reached for her D-3 to…
Dang it, she must have dropped when she got transported to this weird world.
Oh, now what was she supposed to do? She was stuck here, helpless, trying to defend herself and the Scubamon against the attacks, and there was nothing she could do about it! All of a sudden, it was like she was small again. When she was young and almost died, twice! And when she was eight, she was the reason behind the Myotismon attack, and so many terrible things happened, then, when they finally got to the Digiworld, she got sick again, and then the other time where it was just her, T.K., and Patamon. And even now! Why would the Scubamon call her of all people? She can’t even take care of herself without anyone’s help!
“Up here!” Kari heard a voice say, snapping her out of her memories. She looked up, and saw a girl with dark hair and glasses standing on top a nearby mountain. “Are y’all- Ack!” Airdramon snapped out of his blindness and started aiming towards the girl.
Lucky for the girl, the Airdramon’s eyes didn’t seem to have fully recovered yet, as he missed his shot, though not by much, as right near the girl black fire was ablaze.
The girl started running away from the fire, as Airdramon kept attacking her. Kari wanted to go up and try to help the girl, no matter how futile it would probably end up.
“Hey! Hey!” She heard from a voice behind her. “While he’s distracted, we should run!” One of the Scubamon told her.
“Wha-?” Kari questioned, not being able to get out her full thought.
“What are you hesitating for, Hikari?” Another Scubamon chimed in. “While that other human girl is Airdramon’s focus, we should focus on saving ourselves.”
Kari felt weird about that, and looked over to the girl with glasses. Airdramon’s sight is going to recover soon…
A few of the Scubamon started moving, not giving Kari her own choice.
“H-hey!” She called out to the Scubamon. “Don’t leave me!”
One of the Scubamon turned back to her, the red eyes looking even more unnatural than normal, “We wouldn’t dream of it, my queen.”
Oh. Oh that. She didn’t like that. Maybe it wasn’t the best idea to help- She shook her head. No! These Digimon need help, and, and I shouldn’t be, doubting, them…
Though, no matter how she tried to convince herself, she kept thinking about that girl. Both this girl and these Scubamon need her, but right now, that girl needs her help more!
“I’m sorry!” Kari told the Scubamon as she rushed off to the girl with glasses.
“Wait!” She heard one of the Scubamon say.
“You promised you’d help us!” Yelled another.
Kari had to shake her head to ignore the Scubamon’s cries, and she worried that if she listened to what they had to say, she would stay with them.
Just about as she was going to leave the heard of Scubamon behind, one appeared in front of her, almost out of nowhere. Almost like slipping through the darkness of the land itself…
“You’re not going to just leave us here, are you?” The Scubamon asked, eyes glowing, oh so red.
“I, uh,” Kari tried to start, but the words just wouldn’t form in her mind or throat.
“You told us you’d help us, and you wouldn’t just break a promise so easily, would you?”
“Of course not!”
“Then why are you trying to help her? True, she may be powerful here, but not as strong as you, my queen. There is a reason why we called you here after all, and not her.”
“Wha- what are you talking about? I don’t understand!”
“You will, my queen.” The spiral on the Scubamon’s arm fell off, revealing something that wasn’t a digimon, or a human, or anything that Kari had seen before. She tried to back up, noticing that all of the other Scubamon had also transformed into the, thing of darkness.
When did they get behind me? Kari thought to herself, scared.
“We will mix our power with yours, as a child of light, your powers are even more powerful than the powers of dark here. And once we do, we’ll be able to take down our master.” The not-scubamon told her.
Mix our powers together? Oh, I hope that doesn’t mean what I think it means… Kari thought to herself.
The not-scubamon started to close in on her. “Stay back!” Kari yelled in vain. “If you take one step closer I’ll, I’ll!”
Kari heard Airdramon come back, which means one of two things, of which, one is way more likely…
She heard Airdramon roar in frustration, spewing out his black flames onto the beach once more. Kari looked up and saw the girl with glasses, though she did have a few burn marks on her person and clothes.
“You!” Kari exclaimed, glad to see that the other girl was alright.
Airdramon shot out another attack, and Kari jumped out of the way to avoid being scorched.
When she looked up, she saw the not-scubamon retreat back into the dark waves of the gray beach.
“I see you have chosen your side, dear queen of light.” Said a not-scubamon. “We will come back, I promise you this. And we will have our offspring.”
Well, that’s a happy sendoff, isn’t it? Kari thought to herself sarcastically.
Though, while the not-scubamon may be off her tail for now, Airdramon sure isn’t, and he makes himself be known by shooting off another attack, Kari’s screams are all that’s left to be heard.
At least, not until next time.
So, heres my rewrite of the dark ocean arc of 02, let’s see how far we get with it!
Also, I didn’t really want to explicitly state what the dark figures want with Kari. Mainly because one, it makes me uncomfortable, and two, I’m writing this on my school chromebook, so, don’t want to take that chance.
We’ll see how far I take to make chap 2, cause I think I’ll be able to manage at least that much.
I think I’ll probably just post this on tumblr, then when/if I finish, I’ll post on my Ao3.
But for now, I hope you enjoyed!

If you're able, perhaps a Tamer who cares for her mons by doing things for them 👉🏾👈🏾, specifically say washing Beelzemon bike (even if it won't let them ride it), making sure Wizardmon's cloaks tended to, and maybe taking some iron pills so their Myotismon doesn't have to worry about feeding as much from them 🥺✨? (All romantic?) Please :3
A Tamer showing care for their Digimon by doing things for them;
Beelzemon:
Beelzemon actually appreciates the help with maintaining Behemoth. Even if it's something so simple as just giving Behemoth a wash, the bike does get considerably dirty with how often he rides it and the terrain he usually rides it in. If he spots his Tamer giving it a clean and they're in the middle of it, he stalks over to help them. Quietly picking up a sponge and working beside them on spots that they haven't gotten to. Behemoth sure appreciates it, too.
Beelzemon does sometimes take the washing to have a bit of fun with his Tamer. Flicking soap and water at them, then quickly pretending he didn't do anything. It's just a small bit of teasing fun, and he always gives a smirk as he glances at them. It doesn't matter if it's just something for his Tamer to show they care, he's going to help them with it.
Wizardmon:
The thing is, if his Tamer does something for him to show their care, Wizardmon has to equal it in some way! No matter how small, any time his Tamer shows him some form of care, he's trying to match it. So when his cloak gets dirty somehow, his Tamer has to do something about it. And the moment they do, he tries to figure out how to repay them for their actions.
Sometimes he'll try to be romantic with his gestures. Making his Tamer something to eat, bringing them flowers, or getting them a gift -- or making it himself if he feels confident enough to do so. He simply can't let his Tamer do something for him without doing something in turn for them, and even if they try to tell him that it's fine, it's how they want to show they care, he only rebuttals with the same thing.
Myotismon:
Myotismon hates asking to feed from his Tamer. He truly does. He always asks for permission first when he needs to feed though, and tries to not drain them too much when he drinks from them. He tries to make it almost romantic; how close he holds them to his body with his arms wrapped around them. One hooked around their back, the other gently holding the back of their neck to support their head some. He dips his fangs to their neck to drink from them, trying to be gentle to cause as little pain as he can. Even laying them upon a bed afterwards so they can rest comfortably if they passed out, or just until they got their bearings again. But for a human, the amount he takes when he tries to take only a little bit is still a bit too much.
He always gives them time to recover and even more before he asks to drink from them again. When they start to take iron pills, he's slightly curious about them. Something supposed to help the anemia he gives them, hm? Interesting. He still tries to not drink from them as much, but thanks them for trying to do something so he didn't feel as terrible drinking from them.

Thoughts had while rewatching Digimon Adventure 02
1. it's nice seeing everybody older
2. Ah, nostalgia hitting hardcore already
3. having said that, I remember nothing of the new digimon
4. Wow, Davis is even more obnoxious than Tai.
5. Okay, this is jealousy over Kari is getting old FAST.
6. Gatomon is still the cutest
7. I love that they expanded on Kari's personality, both in her being affected by the darkness and how she obviously knows Davis likes her and definitely takes advantage of it.
8. wormmon, making bugs look cute since....whatever year this came out...2002?
9. If I had to pick a favorite of the new kids/digimon on the block, It'd be Yolei and hawkmon.
10. Ah, digimon emperor, I kinda remember him.
11. oh, god, I really remember. Oh Ken, my baby!
12. I'm just gonna say it, Yolei should have had the crest of knowledge.
13. wizardmon making a tearjerking appearance to wrench at my heart strings, and provide much needed information.
14. I like how this feels a little more even than the original. only augmon and gabumon ever mega digivolved, but in this all the pairs get to dna digivolve. okay only ken/davis reach mega, but it still feels more equal.
15. I remembered the first story arc, but wow, I do not remember the second half of this series at. all.
16. okay, I kinda remember arukenimon, and the creepy dude. but that's it.
17. I don't remember crying at the ending of this series or the first series the first time I watched them. but I sure am this time!
18. really? Myotismon again? haven't we done this dance twice already?
19. Time to go watch the original movie!
20. I've been really impressed at how both this series and the first tackled mental health and depression in particular.

You are correct the anon who sent takari and tai/tk bonding is one in the same. :) I’ll sign off as moon anon. Any head canons for matt and Kari bonding? -Moon Anon
I’M SO MAD AT MYSELF FOR TAKING A BREAK/BEING FORCED TO GO ON A HIATUS (BECAUSE OF SCHOOL) JUST AS YOU NAMED YOURSELF, MOON ANON!
So anyway, you made my heart go soft thinking about Matt and Kari bonding, so here we go, friend. Let’s do this.
Matt and Kari Bonding Headcanons
Not gonna lie, when Matt asked if he could talk to her, Kari was like “Please don’t tell me you’re gonna ask for 1) my hand in marriage, 2) my brother’s hand in marriage, or 3) why I was holding your brother’s hand”
It was none of those things
Matt legit started kowtowing and was apologizing for letting her get captured by Myotismon
She was like “Bro I forgot about that”
“LET ME MAKE IT UP TO YOU”
“Uh... sure?”
“I SHALL BUY YOU ICE CREAM”
What girl in their right mind refuses ice cream?
From then on, Matt and Kari had one of those really silent friendships--like the type you know exist somewhere in the stratosphere but you don’t really get to see it happen on camera/in person
So basically what I imagine Joe and Izzy doing in their free time
Now see the funniest thing is people would see this cool young lad buying a really cute girl some ice cream and be like “ARE THEY DATING”
Because you know, anime
And of course how do you explain “Nah this is my best friend’s brother/sister”
You don’t
So they kinda roll with it
They actually get a kick out of pretending to be a couple
Gives Tai a heart attack if he happens to pass by, though
Besides this strange agreement to mess with people, Matt and Kari sometimes do harmonica/whistle duets that sound horrendous but they think it sounds great
Someone tell them to stop
Once again my thoughts went away from me during these but I happen to like this version of Matt and this version of Kari
------------
Moon Anon, what did you think? If it wasn’t what you were expecting, well... it wasn’t what I thought I was going to do, either xD
That seems to be happening a lot more often...

Top Five Villains
HERE WE GO, THE FUN LIST.
#5 Gatomon
Tumblr media
Controversial, maybe, to have her be on the Villains list as well, but she was a villainous character for a while.
I’m a real sucker for a good redemption storyline; failing that, at least a turncoat character. While Gatomon didn’t really commit any real atrocities onscreen to atone for later in the story, she still proved a fun villain while she was one. She was no nonsense, efficient, knew exactly what she was doing... if she’d stayed on Myotismon’s side, she could have been a real force to be reckoned with. One of the things that I’d have really liked to have seen explored more in this series was Gatomon’s time with Myotismon, and how much she’s changed since then.
Plus there’s something so weirdly entertaining about a group of creepy, ominous, obviously evil monsters and then a small white kitty cat who’s just as dangerous as them.
#4 Myotismon
Tumblr media
This guy.
When this guy came onto the scene, the entire show changed. Devimon’s arc was fun, if a little generic; Etemon’s was very similar with a different villain, and then Demidevimon’s arc came along and we got a fun, goofy villain who can’t Evil properly. Even so, we knew he was following orders from a higher power, and Myotismon’s eventual appearance changed the dynamic from “Team Rocket Fools Children Repeatedly” to “oh shit an actual vampire is going to kill us”. And then the whole Eighth Digidestined thing happened... Plus, that #aesthetic, amirite?
To tie into Gatomon’s thing up there, the Eighth Digidestined arc was one of the best of the season, if not the best. Taking the fight to the Real World made it more, well, real. It was fun as hell watching the parents interact with the Digimon, both good and bad, and finding out exactly what the kids had been up to lately. The kids watching their families getting dragged into the fight was TOP. NOTCH. Plus Myotismon actually knew what he was doing as a villain so.
He knew to go after the one kid without protection. He knew how to cut everything off effectively. He did take a shot at some of the kids when they were on their own, instead of thinking only of killing Kari. Death didn’t stop him the first time. Even when he pulled the classic villain “You Have Outlived Your Use” thing and killed his own minions, it was on Digimon who had already turned against him, like Wizardmon, Pumpkinmon, Gotsumon and (arguably) Darktyrannomon.
(No, wait, they’re still alive because he sent them to his Dungeon, isn’t that RIGHT DUB TEAM.)
(Even though pieces of them were left behind and dissolved on their own.)
(No, I’m still not over that.)
#3 Ogremon
Tumblr media
Another redeemed villain! I just like them, okay
Maybe it’s just me, but just the act of Ogremon turning good at the end made me like him. He was a little bit generic in the Devimon arc, though at least he had the feud with Leomon to make him interesting. (Any logical reason to that, by the way? Was it just that we had these two Digimon who could fill in the character roles we’d set out for them? Nothing mythological about lions and ogres hating each other or anything? No? Okay then.)
All Ogremon really did in that first arc was serve as the henchman. He made some... interesting choices, and then he was absorbed into Devimon for power. And then he came out of the back of Devimon’s knee. Sure. When Devimon was defeated, he ran screaming off into the distance, shaking his fist and yelling “NEXT TIME, GADGET. NEXT TIIIIME.” The very act of bringing him back when he wasn’t employed by the Big Bad of the moment made him an interesting character, who had to atone for what he did. I’m a sucker for redemption, like I said, and the best part of it is watching them go soft.
Plus, how great is it to have multiple conflicting alliances within a group? When Leomon returned, even though Ogremon was firmly on the Digidestined side now, he had absolutely no problems with trying to immediately murder Leomon. There’s nothing wrong with that, right? They’re rivals, it’s just natural! He’s also kind of a shithead in general, even still.
Also, Ogremon is incredibly hard to draw. I’d just like to bring that up.
Okay, next!
#2 Etemon
Tumblr media
HE’S A MONKEY WHO TALKS LIKE ELVIS, NEXT QUESTION.
But for real, Etemon is such a fucking great villain. Great character all around, I’d love a version where he was an ally or something, but how else would we get the trademark Elvis-laugh-turns-into-villainous-laugh thing that Etemon has going?! Come on, that’s great.
Devimon’s villainous style was one of corruption; he wasn’t all that powerful on his own, but by using the Black Gears he could build his own damn forces and control small areas. He only managed to control a handful of Digimon in the end. He was also taken out by a single Digimon in a single one-on-one, though you could argue that the others had weakened him by that point, they hadn’t really.
Etemon’s style was drastically different - he was far more comical, but far more dangerous. His introduction scene involved him panicking over the Digidestined already being in the area. He sang a lot, he cracked jokes, he threw childish tantrums, and again, he was a monkey who sounded like Elvis. There is nothing not awesome about this guy. And yes, he was deadlier - his main attack can undo Digivolutions and leave the Digimon vulnerable as hell. He ended up taking a couple of episodes to take out, only losing because another villain tried to sabotage him in the end.
And coming back partway through the Dark Masters arc as Metaletemon?! FUCK YEAH. Every pun he made, I laughed at and I don’t apologise for that. Even starting a series-wide tradition, he was stylish until the end.
Also he called Ikkakumon a goat that one time.
#1 Demidevimon
Tumblr media
T H E  B A S T A R D  O R B
Nobody is surprised that he’s my #1, right? It was a close call between him and Etemon, but ultimately I just like Demidevimon’s arc more. We have Devimon and Etemon, as I discussed above. After that wave of villains who are dangerous because they’re powerful, we have one who is dangerous because he’s just a little bastard.
Demidevimon wasn’t strong. Most villains had their huge beatdown happen in the form of a Digimon Digivolving to Champion, Ultimate or Mega for the first time, Demidevimon had his when Patamon reached Rookie level again. In his debut episode. He was never a threat physically once the kids realised that he was not to be trusted. His arc came right after two arcs of the kids being stranded in this strange world together, only briefly separated - and then everyone was torn apart, and he could manipulate them individually.
I’ve argued in the past that Demidevimon was a more effective manipulator than even Puppetmon, one of the Dark Masters, and I stand by it. Puppetmon managed to physically manipulate them with the dolls, sure, and he had Cherrymon convince Matt to attack Tai. But, uh, he didn’t exactly have to twist his arm very hard to get that to happen, and that was Cherrymon’s doing anyway. Plus you could argue that physically manipulating someone isn’t much of a social power as it is more a matter of strength. (also Puppetmon is more of a “play with them like toys” type, but still, being a literal puppetmaster, you’d think that manipulation was more of his domain than a BAT.) Demidevimon, however, managed to:
convince TK that Matt didn’t want him as a brother anymore and to ditch Tokomon
nearly have TK, Tai and Agumon eat poisonous mind-wiping mushrooms
convince Digitamamon to keep Joe and Matt in the restaurant, simultaneously threatening Joe to help keep Matt there and sabotaged them constantly to manipulate them all further
trick Izzy and Tentomon into Vademon’s trap
tell the Gekomon and Otamamon about Mimi’s singing voice, somehow knowing that they’d end up hindering her progress somehow(???)
And, even after knowing that he’s an evil manipulating Digimon, he managed to convince Sora that she’d never manage to activate her crest, causing her to believe it in a self-fulfilling prophecy, even as she worked to sabotage his efforts otherwise.
I mean, apart from all that, I just like Demidevimon as a Digimon. He’s a tiny flying motherfucker and that’s great! He had some of my favourite lines, even his death was kind of tragically funny, and I have a clear bias when it comes to his voice acting, because I just like Derek Stephen Prince. He does it well! I don’t know how Demidevimon closes his eyes like that, though, those appear to be his pupils closing. I don’t even know.
Really, I just find great nostalgia in comical villains. They were all the rage back in the day, especially in children’s media. They’re still around sometimes - Doctor Doofenshmirtz from Phineas and Ferb, the Rubies from Steven Universe, the Ice King from Adventure Time, even Team Rocket from Pokemon are thriving still. Good, menacing villains are great and all, but where’s the fun?
Honourable Mentions
Tumblr media
Scorpiomon, who probably benefited the most from the dub’s style - his constant cried of “hey, stop it, come baaaack” while chasing Joe and Mimi are more remnicient of a kid trying to get his toy back from the bully who just took it away from him than someone trying to murder children, and that’s just fucking hilarious.
Tumblr media
Mimi, when she was briefly an antagonist in that one episode. Just as I really like Heel-Face turns, I really like Face-Heel turns, even temporarily, and even as petty as this whole thing was. It was the perfect trap for her, who just craved the comfort of home, and who could be easily confinced to go for more. And it was the perfect trap because she was the jailor and the jailed at the same time, trapped as long as her own selfishness would allow. It was one of my favourite episodes.
Tumblr media
Datamon, who had his own agenda and didn’t care that he was stepping on Etemon’s toes to get what he wanted. Just like Leomon and Ogremon had conflicting alliances on the protagonist’s side, Datamon and Etemon were opposing forces on the antagonist’s side, and multiple villains fighting each other are always fun to see.
Actually, Etemon later fought Puppetmon as Metaletemon, didn’t he? Wow, dude just doesn’t get along with other villains.
Tumblr media
Gizamon. Give them more lines, you cowards.
Tumblr media
The Dark Masters, as a whole. Just as Myotismon changed the entire tone of the show, these guys took the entire first half of the show and murdered every safe thing about it. They immediately started playing with the Digidestined, fully intending to off them all right then and there as a team. They were competent, for the most part - only failing when they were forced to split up, and their dirty tricks could be dismantled one by one. I’ve never seen a more co-operative group of antagonists, who never tried to dethrone each other and take everything for themselves.
Tumblr media
And okay, sure, Kokatorimon. Purely for this.
Dishonourable Mention
Tumblr media
Apocalymon.
Look, dude, I’m sorry, you’re cool and everything, but where the fuck did you come from? We killed Piedmon, it’s over, no, wait, here’s one last guy, no wait he’s dead, nevermind. What?
The fact that Apocalymon didn’t get any fanfare before being dropped on the Digidestined without warning made him seem like an afterthought, like the writers forgot their own endgame until they got there. Even if there had been a mention of the effect that caused his existence before he showed up - a “hey, did you know that not every Digimon survives Digivolution? Their data just gets deleted or something,” really would have helped, but even then.
Apocalymon’s existence in the show really highlights how disjointed the series as a whole is - Devimon has no relation to Etemon, who has no relation to Myotismon, who has no relation to the Dark Masters, who have no relation to Apocalymon. The kids face a constant load of “okay, so we beat this guy and we can go home, right? ...no, maybe this guy??” where every new villain is dropped on the like a hot potato, making their first appearance in less time after their existence is revealed in less time than it takes to heat up said hot potato. Myotismon is the only one who gets any decent buildup before his first appearance before the children, and he’s often said to be the best villain of the show, so see how that works?
Digimon Adventure is the story of a bunch of kids who were brought to the Digital World to take care of one guy, and hey, while you’re here, we’ve also got some sort of demon on this island causing trouble, and there’s this monkey threatening us, and also a vampire, and then these four have joined together... It was a fun adventure, and I love that it could be part of my childhood and my life, but wow it really needed a more cohesive throughline for the story.
I hate to leave this post on a negative note, because it was full of mostly nice things, so here’s another picture of the bastard orb.
Tumblr media
Hahahaha, oh you silly little man.

Lost in Love 1/3
A three part digi//mon g/t vore series about my Digidestined OC/sona, Charissa, and her experiences and thoughts with being eaten by her three significant others--her primary partner and husband Jazz (another Digidestined), and her two secondary partners Beelstarrmon and Voltaboutamon. Lots of polyamorous fluff, soft safe vore and sweetness. Will likely do a little series of blurbs with her and Jazz’s digi///mon teammates vore shenanigans too, I just wanted to write up some romance~
Part one focuses on Charissa and Voltaboutamon--in this story, they have only very recently began their relationship, and are still navigating the awkwardness of a new love and the tangled web of the enemies to friends to lovers past they share. After Charissa struggles with sensory overload and the resulting shutdown, Voltaboutamon comforts her in a shrunken state, and considers what her two longer-term significant others have (obnoxiously) told him about her vore fixation.... He decides to try and comfort her in a new way, exploring her very strange form of intimacy.
NSFW DNI.
In his hands, I am small and pliable. The pad of his thumb, black and tough as onyx, presses softly against the plushness of my cheek. I melt into him and sigh, softly.
I am home.
“I have no idea what I’m doing.” Voltaboutamon looks down at me, the shy indigo blush on his cheeks radiating warmth. “Do I just.... Put you in?”
I smile, stimming nervously with the scrunchie on my wrist. “Ye--ah, I g--uess. You just, um, uh, um tre--at me like you wo--uld would any other f---ood. Except che--w--ing.” I am happy, but the words are forced and almost painful--after a shutdown, speaking always is.
“You don’t need to make yourself talk.” His narrow eyes seem to edge into slits. “I… I want to make you feel better. You don’t need to force yourself for me, Charissa. I am always prepared to accommodate you. I love you.”
I almost open my mouth to force out more, but stop. Jazz, Beelstarrmon and Voltaboutamon are the greatest partners I could’ve ever hoped to love--and I found myself frustrated with the disservice both to them and myself whenever I tried to shift myself to try and please them, like I had with so many others. With so many abusers. It was okay to be me. It was safe to be me. With the three of them, I could love freely.
No pretending. No masking. No suffering. Only truth.
I smiled and nodded. Two taps for thanks, and a squeeze of his fingers for love.
The wraith-like Digimon smiled, his eyes softening. “And you will be safe?”
I nodded again, pointing to the small oxygen mask at my hip. I slumped against his needle like fingers, lightheaded from the butterflies fluttering about in my stomach.
After my surrogate father, Grandracmon, shrunk me down for my own comfort, both Voltaboutamon and I retreated to his quarters for privacy and silence. For not one second did he (nor my father, the kindest beast in existence might I add) judge my desire to be small, and instead he looked down at me as if I was the greatest treasure his hands had ever held.
For awhile, we lay in silence, my darling removing his chest plating so that I could curl up on his chest and listen to his heartbeat. A steady rhythm, safe and powerful, even through the leathery armor-like chitin that covered him from clavicles to toes, cool and textured against my own skin. Two of his arms tucked behind his head, relaxed, one over his stomach and the last’s palm cupping me gently.
I was always small, a mere 5’5 to his 12’, but at 5 inches tall, he was now truly massive to me. Even after removing his intimidating armor and mask and the extra bulk of his hat and headscarf, his presence still felt absolutely massive. And yet, despite what a cruel figure the digimon struck, he felt as safe and secure as any home I could have ever imagined. Better than anything I could imagine, in fact.
So when my dear one looked down at me and whispered, with nothing but a soft red light from the lamp in the corner lighting the space around us, if I would like him to eat me, I felt my own heart skip a beat. Pretty sure I felt his do the same.
Voltaboutamon had never really been interested in the whole vore thing, and after we began dating only a few weeks ago, it was one of the hardest discussions to have with him, perhaps even moreso than our rocky history of hate-filled enemies to reluctant friends to hopelessly yearning. Explaining the intricacies of affection, intimacy, trust, safety and closeness involved in vore for me was terrifying, and having to share that with someone who had been shut off from closeness and emotional intimacy for so long? I figured he would never be comfortable with it beyond some light teasing and letting me lay on his belly.
And now here we were, both blushing, flustered and awkward.
His stomach growled, a low rumble beneath me, and the butterflies surged with a vengeance. I loved him so much, so deeply, and just wanted to find myself in the world of his body, his physical self, the very essence of Voltaboutamon. After everything we had endured, the trauma of our pasts, the struggle of our present and the serenity of the new love we had found, all I ever wanted was to get lost in him. Right now, literally.
“And you trust me? You feel safe?” He was nervous, maybe even more than I was.
I smiled gently. One long, deep squeeze. Always.
He nodded, clearing his throat. “Well. I am hungry. I was busy earlier today and forgot to eat so… Yes. Here we go then. Vore.”
He picked me up with two long, claw tipped fingers, squeezing into the softness of my plump frame. He lifted me up and I felt myself go a bit dizzy with vertigo, until I looked down and saw his mouth yawn open.
Poppy-red eyes gazed up at me, gauging my reaction. Voltaboutamon’s face was narrow and framed with long locks of wavy snow-white hair, his features all hard as flint. His full lips opened wide, lavender skin giving way to a bright pink mouth and pearly teeth. A set of long fangs, his teeth all just a little bit sharper than normal--likely the Myotismon data--and his tongue long and flat and waiting.
I swallowed hard, goosebumps popping up along my arms as I fixated on the strands and bubbles of saliva framing his maw, leading all the way back into the beckoning tunnel of his throat.
He lowered me in gently, and I almost laughed at the severe juxtaposition of how differently he placed me in comparison to my other dear ones. His soft, thoughtful handling a contrast to the greedy but assured stuffing-in that Jazz and Beelstarrmon would begin eating me with. I suppose it makes sense, gluttons as they are and gourmet as he is. I almost giggle thinking about the shenanigans and contrasts of our love-filled little quad, but I’m broken from my ruminations when he places me right atop his tongue.
Instantly the butterflies surge, a swarm of nerves and exhilaration twisting up my insides. His tongue undulates beneath me, his sharp teeth framing the outside world. Before I know it the digimon’s mouth closes, the last shreds of light glinting off his fangs and threads of drool before I’m shrouded in darkness.
I squish my fingers against the slick flesh of my darling’s tongue, gasping as it presses me against the roof of his mouth and then to the inside of his cheek. I’ve been eaten so many times before, by friends and lovers, and yet I still find myself growing pink and amazed and feeling so very very small, and I can’t help but just close my eyes and smile.
His breath is hot and smells of tart undiluted cranberry juice, and I recall the mug he left on the kitchen counter. It rushes over me as he carefully shifts me around the slimy cavern, his teeth gently scraping at my skin and saliva coating me like a second skin. I press my hands against his flesh, tracing veins with my fingertips and slipping around at his mercy. A low hum builds in his throat and I blush, pleased that he seems to find me a tasty snack.
I found myself pushed to the back of his mouth, going lightheaded with both happiness and an unbidden anxiety--like the top of a roller coaster drop--as the tips of my toes slipped past the entrance of his throat. His uvula tickled the top of my twin buns as he swallowed thickly, unaccustomed to such a large morself, not that my girth likely helped much. His gulp pulled me down instantaneously, and then peristalsis got to work. He swallowed and gulped again, clearly straining to get me down.
The powerful muscles pulled me down eagerly, the soft flesh crushing and massaging against me as it effortlessly took me further into Voltaboutamon. I felt his fingertip press against the bulge I must’ve made in his slender neck, following me as I trailed deeper into him. I heard the rush of his breath from his lungs, his relief once I started falling down his throat smoothly, and he no longer had to swallow powerfully.
I enjoyed the trip down, my oxygen mask providing me air during my smothering descent, the pressure providing me sensory stimulation and relaxation in the best possible way. Utter bliss.
It wasn’t long before Voltaboutamon’s throat opened up into his stomach though, and I yelped as I was deposited into the much more roomy cavern. I slipped right in and slid down into a fetal position, shifting about to get comfortable. The sludgy chyme and the unmistakable tang of cranberry juice sloshed around me, his belly grumbling loudly upon my arrival. The muscular walls flexed and kneaded gently, like a hug. The darkness and heat was utterly smothering, and while the smell wasn’t delightful, it was reassuring in some strange way.
His heart beat thunderously somewhere above me, and the hum of his digicore was a barely noticeable constant thrumming. His lungs translated in and out, in and out seamlessly, a low gurgle from lower in his guts sounding out every now and then. His stomach continued its kneading and soft growling, and I felt all my muscles loosen and relax.
“Are you alright, Charissa?” I was jostled a bit as he must’ve leaned down, trying to get as close as he could. “I feel ridiculous talking to my stomach…” A pressure from outside pushed against me, kind and gentle as ever. Voltaboutamon rubbed his belly, and I eagerly pressed back and into the sweet touch, rubbing my hands tenderly along his stomach walls in thanks.
“I love you, dear.” His voice blended in with the cacophony of sounds, the symphony of his body. “You were...a, ah, good meal. A nice little bite. Morsel. You melt in my mouth. ….Ah. Fuck. Yep.” He went quiet, and I could almost see the frustrated look on his face. I giggled sweetly as we both continued our rubbing. He had the spirit, and my heart swelled with pure adoration.
I let myself melt into him indeed, leaning back into the undulating stomach walls and letting the heat encompass me. Right now, Voltaboutamon was my entire world, and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I relaxed into him, his body keeping me enshrouded and hidden like a treasure chest, and I felt my eyelids grow heavy.
I began to daydream about whenever he’d spit me back up, and we’d return to Jazz and Beelstarrmon--oh, how they’d tease him relentlessly, and how he’d pout and huff and give out halfhearted threats. We would all laugh, and they would all pull me close, and I would be even more surrounded by love than I was right now. Maybe I could slip into Jazz’s gut before bed, or Beelstarrmon could have me for breakfast. Maybe we’d all just lay together and play board games and talk until the suns came up and the Digital World came to life.
The pain of today slipped away, melting away in Voltaboutamon’s belly as easily as any food. Just as my muscles relaxed my mind did too, the overwhelming sensation of sensory overload from earlier suffering giving way to peace. This was what vore was to me--each experience with each person I loved, each friend, each pred and even accompanying prey friends was always different--but at the core it was the inexplicable, even moreso unexplainable, sense of safety, closeness and belonging.
My eyelids fluttered closed, breathing growing even. I felt so lucky to be loved like this, to be held like this. Down someone’s throat, below their heart, in the soothing darkness of their belly was my home.
“I love you, Voltaboutamon.” I whispered softly to the world around me. I would tell him to his face, accompanied by a kiss on the nose, whenever I reemerged. For now, I sunk down with a sigh and let myself fade into sleep.

Hi, I'm in awe of your work on those TOG POP! They're truly a perfect copy, I love watching "makeover" of figures so you have my biggest respect for this immense work. The details, the clothes, the postures, the fact that you did them ALL! Wonderful dedication and, once again, work! Thank you for sharing pics 💛 Do you have future projects similar to this one or past ones?
OMG thank you so so so much! You’re so kind 🥰
I don’t have any future plans currently, but I customize Funkos ALL the time, so I’m sure it won’t be long. To date, I’ve made the entire Old Guard (obvi), 3 Crowleys, Aziraphale, Gabriel, and Beelzebub from Good Omens, and the weirdest by far, Myotismon from Digimon (yes, I’m old). I’ve floated the idea of making an Insta for my creations, might still if there’s interest.
Thanks again for your sweet words! ❤️

I present to you a list of CANONOLIGICAL things that the Digimon Sovereigns, Gennai, and ENIAC have done to Ryo that built nothing but RESENTMENT in him for the Chosen Child system, and the gods of the Digital World as a whole.
Digimon Adventure: Anode/Cathode Tamer
Is forced to fight Devimon, Etemon, Myotismon and Piedmon IN SUCCESSION who Millenniummon had resurrected when he created the time slip that allowed him to capture the original DigiDestined.
He AT LEAST had the help of Agumon, Digimon allies he’d befriended, and allies of the DigiDestined, but Ryo had initially naively accepted the call for help not realizing the consequences until after he had been injured by a Shellmon.
Ryo INITIALLY did not have a Digivice or a Digimon Partner that he knew of.
Millenniummon was his destined partner and NO ONE stepped forward to tell him.
Digimon Adventure 02: Tag Tamers
Several MONTHS later calls Ryo back to the Digital World AGAIN.
This time he teams up with VEEMON, and Gennai tells them to fight what is supposedly a Diaboromon clone.
I’m pretty sure Gennai KNEW it was a trap set by Millenniummon to lure Ryo back into the Digital World and sent him in there anyway.
After destroying Millenniummon’s body, Millenniummon said “He can never die and as Ryo's power is eternal, so is his. He then disappeared.”
Digimon Adventure 02: D-1 Tamers
By then Ryo understands that he’s ONLY called to deal with specifically MILLENNIUMMON, and is skeptical when he’s told that Azulongmon has chosen to hold a tournament, where the winner would become his partner because the other 3 Sovereigns had ‘turned evil’.
The original DigiDestined are tricked into taking part, but PRESUMABLY their memories are erased after, due to NO RECOLLECTION of Ryo after he leaves their timeline within their canon anime.
There was a stage of the tournament that required Ryo to SACRIFICE A DIGIMON ALLY and he did so. This haunts him, and will CONTINUE to haunt him.
The Tournament out to be a LIE, and this was a means by the Digimon Sovereigns of training Ryo to defeat Moon-Millenniummon.
Ryo is SELECTIVELY MUTE for the rest of this adventure from the deception.
Upon reaching Millenniummon, he invites Ryo to travel with him through time and space. Ryo ACCEPTS.
Millenniummon’s base explodes, and Ryo is PRESUMED DEAD in the Adventure Universe.
Digimon Tamers: Brave Tamer
Ryo is transported into the past and separated from Millenniummon, awakening with AMNESIA, he is set up with MONODROMON as a partner by ENIAC, the benevolent ruler of the Digital World who exists in multiple timelines at once.
ENIAC KNEW Millenniummon was Ryo’s destined partner, and STILL sent him on a final quest to kill Millenniummon anyway.
Throughout ALL OF THIS Ryo remains mute.
It’s at the end of this game that Ryo FINALLY learns that Millenniummon is his TRUE PARTNER. Monodromon and Millenniummon fight over who gets to be Ryo’s real partner, with Monodromon SACRIFICING himself to force a Jogress Evolution with Millenniummon, turning into the egg that would eventually become Cyberdramon.
ENIAC gives Ryo the CHOICE between returning to the ADVENTURE world, or staying in the TAMER’S world.
Ryo chooses to stay in the TAMER’S WORLD, traumatized and jaded by his experiences in his own world. Presumably, ENIAC arranges for Ryo’s parents to be sent there as well.
